When people say the bowle is full convection does this mean you don’t get or can’t get that heavy stoned sleepy feeling? I really like the effects I get from my venty at the higher temps so very curious bout the bowle 2 as it seems to get even higher temps , I’m just not sure if it would fit in my rotation with my venty and tempest - occasional tm2 thrown in there
I was one of those people who said it’s one of the most pure convection devices I’ve used, but make no mistake about - it can get as dark as I would ever want to take it easily on level 5 and even on level 4. There’s definitely nothing much left in the flower when finished.

I have a Tinymight 2 and then purchased a Bowle V2. There is something very special about the Bowle. I felt that with the Tiny but it's way stronger with the Bowle in so many ways. Just my opinion though, but if you have the money go for it. Also the customer service is top notch!

It’s calling me for sure but having the tm2 I am afraid it would fill the same spot.

It depends how you use them really, I like the TM upside down using with plain glass WPA, steel mesh screen no honeycomb holes glass screen, through triple right angle hook from OGB, gives it a pathway similar to TB except glass and with the full temp range dial... Even so, I wouldn't say they are that similar, TB is such a different form factor and experience, must be felt to behold in its elegant simplicity and effectiveness lol

Still a little bummed I missed out on that deal from Vito though someday I hope to afford TB2 for myself so I can try the upgrades! Maybe by then more connectivity will become possible for more glass too

It would be really cool if someone could make a wpa and glass stems to replace the original Tafée one. Not because there is a need, but for more versatility and a different experience. I say glass because I prefer it, but other materials would be good too. I hope it spreads and someone commissions one....

I have ordered mine yesterday. I found this picture in a Reddit post (glass stem on the TB or TB2):

Hopefully my V2 ages much better than my original-it was downhill fast. I would never say either version of the Bowle could or ever “took the place of my TM2, or even my TM1, but it’s a top level vape. I’ve got an OG tinymight that’s almost 4 years old and still rips. The Bowle V1/V2 are great as Tinymight adjacent.

Greetings,

Those are great videos...

I love using the Bowle either way with cup and without. The Bowle is one of my top three favorite vapes...it is the best companion, and I hydrate which is really important to me especially when vaping because it dries you out.

I cannot explain how amazing this vape is...the flavor, the power, the simplicity is outstanding. I just cannot get over it...how unusual it looks and how amazing it truly is.

Happy Holidays to everyone and I hope that if you do not have a Bowle that Santa Claus will come to your house with one this year for you...

So my Bowle 2 finally showed up today after ordering it in November!

First impressions: It seems to be what's been advertised by the people here that love it.

I grabbed my metal potter that had been sitting idle and ground up some bowls pretty quick. Seems to be a nice, efficient grinder. Then I charged up the Bowle, loaded up a bowl and started on level 2 with the long stem and curved mouthpiece.

Very very nice flavor on this level. I'll have to go back and try level 1 but I expected level 2 to be the sweet spot and it was great. I decided to put on my big boy pants and just hold the button until my hits were done instead of relying on the draw sensor. I'll try the auto mode later of course just to see what it's like.

The Bowle seems made for temp stepping as it's one little button press away. Moving on to level 3 led to some thicker vapor and much bigger hits. Holding the button during long draws led to some really impressive clouds and I could feel it wasn't lacking in power. I liked the taste and the clouds so much at this level that I finished the bowl with 3-4 more draws.

All told it was a very satisfying first go with the Bowle. I can see us developing a meaningful relationship.

Hello Bowle's

My grandpa loves the Bowle and who would have thought the design will help him to stay hydrated. I'm out here to see if there is some way to connect the Bowle to water? Can anyone recommend me any accessory that would make this happen? Grandpa's lungs are not great and he is not able to handle anything over the setting 2. He wants the higher temps but it doesn't seem like it would be possible without water. Any suggestions would be really appreciated!

I'll preface by saying I'm a 74 yr old grandpa who doesn't quite rip 'em like I used to...
We haven't seen anyone come up with a decent adapter for a water tool. The design is not very conducive to the idea, and I'm going to argue that water tool may not be the answer for your grandpa.

I stopped using water pieces a few years ago, I found that water robbed some flavor and hits are almost always more draw-restricted. At my age, I want as little draw restriction as possible. (With some devices I do use glass/no water for cooling, but I think the Bowle's stem is exceptionally good at that, on its own.)

My suggestion is not necessarily what grandpa wants to hear, but it is simply to moderate, as in, don't take quite as long/big of a draw.
Vapor seems to expand in our lungs, kinda after we think we've taken enough.

Learning to stop the draw a second or couple of seconds earlier can allow use at a higher temp, yielding very satisfing hits. Might take one extra hit to finish a bowl, but you get just as much feel and effect either way.

Since it sounds like he is using the cup, staying hydrated, suggest that he take the sip before his hit, to moisturize the throat (most people would do it after, for 'relief' from abrasion/heat).

just hold the button until my hits were done instead of relying on the draw sensor.
Glad you are enjoying after that horrendous wait. (My stuff from them reaches me in NY in a week or less, they use UPS now, used to be DHL.)

There is another way to end your toke.
Discussed by @ChooChooCharlie (and me) several monthss ago.
It is click-on, click-off. Click and release once, device will come to temp and lights go green. Draw, and then, about 1 to 2 secs before end of draw, click and release to turn heater off. Drawing that extra second does two things.
It lets the vapor path clear, so less hangs around in there to become reclaim, but, maybe more importantly, it allows your draw to cool the heater, rather that letting heating run-on until it realizes you are not drawing (draw sensor method). The heater absolutely does not like to be run without a draw passing air by it.

My latest replacement Bowle 2 came with a sticker slapped on the device, said something like, 'never power the heater on without drawing.' From that I also surmise that its not good to let heater run-on at the end, with no draw happening.

Thanks, me too 🙂. Generally mail service is fast, especially within Canada (shipped from BC) but mine just happened to get shipped right before a long postal strike. Bad luck.

Yeah this is good advice. I should've thanked you for it before as I've been careful to clear my hits. I also tried the auto-sensing draw but I don't like that you can't really take cigar puffs in this mode without risking the heater possibly shutting off during a pause.

So far the Bowle has been very nice and easy to use. I got around to trying level 1 and it's really nice and subtle. Tafee really nailed the temp levels. I tried level 4 and didn't feel the need to try 5 just yet. You can get a pretty substantial roast from a few hits on level 4.

One thing I do find a bit fiddly is the ceramic pots. I think I have pretty decent finger dexterity but I often feel like I'm going to fumble and spill a pot when handling it. Especially lifting it out of the Potter. Removing a pot from the bottom level of the Potter is a bit trickier than from the very top as well due to the nature of the grinder.

This is minor league stuff though. It's quick to grind a bunch of pots and this beastly machine is tasty, has a great battery life and is as quick as a cart. Impressive.

Wish list:
  • Wouldn't it be cool if someone designs stems in alternate materials like glass or ceramic or wood? Wasn't there a pic of a nice wood/glass contraption on here recently? 🤔I read that the stem can be taken apart so perhaps inserts in a different material could slide inside the aluminum?
  • A good case and/or sleeve is on my list next. I wonder how compact one could be and what good ideas people will come up with.

Greetings, this is my two cents. I think that the Bowle is the vape that least needs anything changed or different. I do not need to put it through water...I feel no need. I feel no need to change the mouth piece...I think the one I have is just damn perfect. All my other vapes I have wanted to put through water (Except the Volcano)...

I just feel the Bowle is a perfect design for me as is. Just recently I discovered that I could house the stir tool on the bottom holes of the puck and that alone made me do a happy dance because now, I felt complete. Ahhh the little things that make me happy...

Anyway, to the designers of the Bowle...my hat is off to you. You have designed in what I think is one of the most perfect vapes around. One of the BEST vapes around and certainly one of the BEST TASTING vapes around as well.

The Bowle is what it is...to be left alone because it is PERFECT. IMHO....MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sorry but if you aren't filled with petty gripes why are you even on the internet? :)

Merry Christmas Dr G and to all!
