Tafée Bowle

If the Bowle is as good as I'm seeing in videos, the potter will be a happy afterthought for me. I have good grinders and the bowls seem easy to scoop and load.
Oh, boy! Best of luck with it.

This is a fine time to mention the use I make of the new, revised metal potter.
I found that the grinder portion needed cleaning more often than my other grinders would, so now I only use it as a filling tool and pot caddy.
I grind in my preferred grinder, then put two spoons (an infant spoon) in the potter's grinder, but I don't put the grinder's top on.
I use a combination of tapping, wiggling, agitation and a light brush to get the goods down the slots into the pots. The butt end of my filling spoon can give a final push thru the slots.
Remove the grinder section, and four filled pots are sitting in a little carrier.

I mention it here because it would be a good use for the plastic potter, since it's weak link is also the grinder itself.
I was early enough to get a metal potter included. I doubt I would have spent the $ with my original purchase.
The new metal potter is great though. Storing 8 filled pots to-go is something the plastic ones can't do!

Sweet Baby Jesus! A wave of VAS overtook me after stalking the Bowle for a while now and I just pulled the trigger. 😱🤯🤑😵

Damn you VAS! Is no one safe from your clutches?

I already feel I've brushed up against portable vaporizer greatness having bought the Solo3 and Angus Enhanced. They're both incredible modern vapes but this guy... this guy.... I just don't know. He looks too good to be true.

For the price I'm fully hoping it will leap to the top of my portables. 🤞

Congrats! The hype is real.

i have seen a bunch of reviews by people on this. Just about everyone really loves it and as a vape it seems very good.

I personally love the idea of the cup as i do like some kind of drink when smoking or vaping. It makes it somewhat stealth which is cool but maybe detracts if you were most interested in portability. I really like how the ceramic pods (for lack of a better term) and especially how you can fill them directly from the grinder.

My only true negative is a fairly high price. But i like when companies get very innovative with their designs.

Is there a WPA for sale or that you can make for the Tafée Bowle 2? Maybe @Delta3DStudios?
I don't think we've seen one. Most folks wouldn't find a need for it, the stem works that well.
I can tell you it's not easy to get a seal if you try to put silicone tubing onto the stem (due to the curved cross section of the stem). I have used a Grasshopper silicone mouthpiece as wpa, trying hold the Bowle onto a j hook, but you have to pinch it or tape it to seal onto the stem. All in all, not worth the effort, in my opinion.
The stock stem with its 2 right angle turns and those "baffles"(the mounting flanges) inside do a super job of cooling. Plus, I tend to call it 'conditioning' the vapor, I feel it is simply less harsh.

Interesting side note: I asked Mike at Delta3dstudios and he developed and sells an adapter to make the stem itself into a 14mm u-hook, so the stem can be used with other (but not all) vapes.

When I got mine, I think I was using one of his SonG rigged up to try using hydro tube, just does not work well, not what it's designed for, not a good connection, and there's no real way to do one the way everything is designed now... As I've said many times here, I would love a WPA option to connect different pathways, I don't really care about using it through water, but I would be much more interested if I could use a glass cooling pathway, hooks or other dry glass, mouthpieces connection... Anything to get away from all the coated metal and silicone (though works well) :ugh:

So I'm still without my Bowle 2 as the postal strike drags on but I wanted to give a shoutout to Tafee for some great customer service!

I purchased my Bowle 2 on the 14th from a different retailer than Tafee directly, and then I saw that Tafee were including a free (metal) Potter if you ordered from their site for black Friday.

Figuring I had nothing to lose, I emailed them to explain my situation and they graciously offered to ship me a free Potter as long as I pay for the shipping! Love it! Thanks Tafee!

Good eye!
But I think it's 399, down from 449.

Oh, maybe I misread when I was looking at a kit compared to it on its own, that's not as good of a deal as I thought it was lol still nice though, matches value of the vape

Ordered Bowle 2 on 27 Nov and had it in hand 2 Dec. Inside was a green potter! Awesome! Ordered direct from Tafee, got super-fast delivery and saved the sales tax to boot. Made going to Tafee.com cheaper by nearly $50. I tried it last night And it ROCKS! Used CBD (Banana zkittles from bloomzhemp.com (awesome company, btw) as my state has not made cannabis available, and it was so much nicer/cooler/smoother and hit me harder.
I started using for pain as the tramadol just wasn’t enough and I didn’t like how gabapentin made me feel. Vaping pushes back the pain (doesn’t remove it, but neither, really, did the drugs the docs gave me). The pain backs up enough to be able to fall asleep (so wonderful). If only I could stay asleep (sigh).
My other DHV is great quality and I have nothing bad to say about it at all; but the Tafee was a much deeper hit that went to work faster and used less flower, to boot. So thankful for this company.

Ordered my Tafee Bowl 2 over the weekend and it is arriving tomorrow. First vape I have bought since the TM2, looking forward to it. Was thinking I need to get rid of a few I no longer use, may put my MiniVap (used it twice) on the classified and give away my FireFly 2+. I can't wait to try the Tafee on level 1 (I follow ShitSnacks low temp theory and start my TM2 at just over 1 on the dial).

I’ve still been really enjoying mine. It’s just so easy and the whole systems works very seamlessly. I do feel myself often reaching for my butane devices (vapman, DynaVap, tempest) for the added conduction element as the bowle really feels like the most pure convection that I’ve tried (which is really good in almost every way but sometime I feel I lacks a bit of oomph that conduction provides).

the only minor issue I’ve had it with it is that I find that I like to take some really quick breaks or cigar puffs while drawing and when using the auto draw activation/click to start method it occasionally was turning off when I didn’t realize and I thought I wasn’t getting good hits. I’ve started just always holding the button - not a big deal but something to note.

Also have really been enjoying the metal potter. It’s better than the + in every way and imo worth the value to get out of the gate. It’s way cleaner with spilling herbs during the grinding/filling step, much more smell proof, and most importantly the magnetic connection is 10x stronger so it’s never even been close to being a spill hazard - i spilled the potter + like 3 times and the pots spilled their contents everywhere. Not fun lol.

Let us know how it goes. I’ve never even tried 1 personally. Almost always use it on 4. Even 2 gave me almost no vapor.

I get decent vapour on 2, which I usually do a couple of hits with, then move on to 3 or maybe 4..

I usually prefer the long-draw convection hits from Bowle, but every now and then I set on 5 and use it more or less like an unregulated vape -- you have to click off much earlier or risk near-combustion. The hits are thicker, warmer and get that "ride the edge" flavor.

I ordered the Bowls Series II Silver Label and it arrived today. Nice surprise that it included the short stem (I was just expecting the metal potter). Just did some sour diesel on level 1, was ready in a second, no visible vapor, but great taste and I am stoned. Will bump it up to 2 in an hour or two after dinner. I think it may push my TM2 to second place. As easy as my Mighty+, but faster and as good as the TM2 (and that is saying a lot). I am definitely going to sell my MiniVap, no need to hold on to it at this point.

When people say the bowle is full convection does this mean you don’t get or can’t get that heavy stoned sleepy feeling? I really like the effects I get from my venty at the higher temps so very curious bout the bowle 2 as it seems to get even higher temps , I’m just not sure if it would fit in my rotation with my venty and tempest - occasional tm2 thrown in there

I personally find the heavy stony sleepy effects are more strain-dependent than device-dependent.

Conduction device effects do hit different for me. They tend to hit me hard, all at once, and don’t last as long. But not necessarily sleepier. Idk, it’s complicated and everyone is different.

Not exactly a hot take but I get good stony sleepy from broad leaf afghani-types. Bowle gets me night time stoned just fine if I throw some good old Bubba in it. It does have the ability to roast the load quite dark if you want

still rocking out my OG bowle. Got one of the first batch, which is still good for two big pots on a charge. Absolute no-brainer of a device. Would replace in a heartbeat if needed, but I think I have a lifetime warranty? Cheers
