To get the types of hits I was on Level 1? Daaaaammmmmmnnnnn.
I’d almost like level 1 to be dropped even cooler, and have level 2 be somewhere between the current 1 and 2. The performance at low temps is so good, why not take it even further? If I was making a wishlist, I’d probably push level 4 a touch hotter as well, just to make it even better suited to the “single-hit-to-finish-every-last-cannabinoid” task, especially when I’m topping my bowls with hash rosin.

Yeah that's what I've been saying, the lowest temperature is already 365 which is pretty middling, I would like it to start at like 345 (350 at least) then the next setting should be more like 380 instead of the current 395 or whatever it is... There is already a nice range, but yeah I am always disappointed when a vape with fixed temps starts above 340 or 350 (at least this one goes below 370?)

The Bowlé gives that hit that you had to perform alchemy to obtain on the Ghost MV1. Flavor chasers will absolutely LOVE this vape. This has given me the absolutely BEST FLAVOR time after time without all the bullshittery. Push button flavor town. I had some blueberry cheesecake, and some guava jelly that was mouthwatering in this vape.
It also squeezes every drop out of the herb. I get higher off a smaller amount of herb. That's cool beans, man. That's my medicine.

On the vape side it's a mass production creme de la creme vape that even the most discerning will enjoy. Is it "THE ONE"? .....no.... But it's the best that we've got so far!

On to the cup... Does it hold water? Turns out it really does! Though when they offer glass instead of plastic, go for glass. The small bowlé isn't worth it unless you drink scotch or something similar in a small glass already, perhaps a white russian  . The short stem keeps the vapor very cool, don't worry about that, it's just that I would want a bigger cup.
Here is what made me think this cup idea might be pretty good after all. ~ I packed my first bowlé and poured a mango seltzer to compliment the guava jelly herb that I was going to vape. I brought it down to our movie room, and sat it in-between my wife and I. She looked at it quickly out of the corner of her eye. (She knew I was getting a cup vape) after a few minutes I took my first hit and exhaled.:luv: delicious.. then I took a big sip of water and put it down. I can see my wife looking right at me now and she pauses the tv and makes a point to tell me how cool she thought that just was. You see, One of the things that irritates me is when I'm outside on the grill making dinner ,and my wife comes home from work and complains that I'm vaping for all the neighbors to see. I can see, especially in the good weather when I'm outside with my wife around, how this is going to be my go to vape. So the fact that my wife (non-cannabis user) thinks it's cool and incognito makes it a good deal to me. Normal sized bottles and cans fit in the small cup with a little room, maybe enough for a paper towel as a protector for the cupé.
The Bowlé is screaming for accessories... Koozies, glass /ceramic cups, extended battery packs, herb jar and grinder holders. The possibilities are extensive...

Now there are some sore spots. The battery life needs to be double, or there needs to be true passthrough charging, maybe the ability to put it on a wireless charging pad? Either way this is me biggest point of meh. Next I'll cry about the pots... :myday:  call it MV1PTSD but I can see the stuff collecting in the corner of the screen and I'm already not looking forward to cleaning. I'll post an update when that's needs to be done. Next I'll talk about the little ball that snaps the mouthpiece into the puck. It's already showing wear... Give it 2 years maybe 1 and I'm wondering if it will still hold in there on its own. I see a lot of silicone bands being tossed around these in a few years to hold the stem into the puck. Oh, then we have the potter.... Sigh.... The first time there was bud all over the top of the pots... I guess I didn't hold it together tightly enough. The next time I did the method I saw Jerry do on the troy and jerry show. It worked but I had a nice little pile of keef under the pots when I took them out. Then there was too much static to get the keef out of there without it flying away. Meh. I don't like it at all. I'm going to put the potter back in the packagé.

Is it worth it as a vape? Yup!
Is it worth it as a vape/cup? Surprisingly, yes. But get the big cup if you don't usually drink from a small cup now. It will become a nuisance over time.

Over all I am Bowlé'd over and I love this little vape. It will definitely have a front position in my collection going forward. I am hoping I can get a pint glass/ceramic and long stem upgrade this year. That would be cool.

Wireless charging would be fantastic. Really anything that was closer to a proper docking station would be an improvement, psychologically (reframing it as a mostly home-based portable, since a lot of people seem to be getting hung up on the non-pocketability of it). The micro-usb works, but it feels kind of chintzy in context.

I think that a wireless charging pad is a great idea, but I don’t think it is good for the life of the lipo battery pack. I am pretty sure they don’t like to have the charge topped off, and for best performance they should be drained to ~35-40% before charging. I am basing this on RC lipo battery pack experience but I could be totally wrong for this application.

When did they remove the option to buy it without the lil goofy cup, it was there when I was thinking about buying in January

I talked about the wireless possibilities on Thursday on the potv stream. The short version is:
- It would mean a plastic bottom. Would that make the construction feel cheaper?
- you would then be able to put a glass of water on top of an electric charger, which is a no-no. Currently, you have to separate the drinkware from the puck to charge, which is actually a safety feature, not a drawback.

That's interesting, thinking of the charging port location as actually a safety feature - and/or perhaps to limit manufacturer liability. Speaking of which, not sure if this has been mentioned, but I see a glass cup as potentially out of the question (at least with the current design) from a safety/liability perspective. It requires a decent bit of pressure to get the cup on and glass would have a chance of breaking in this case. However... what about a thick, coffee-style ceramic mug?? ☕😍 I would love to sip some blonde roast out of a Bowle coffee mug..

I haven’t actually had time to watch this yet, but just skimming through a few seconds I’ve gotta say: Bruno’s got a great smile!

That short stem in the video has Vito's name all over it. You should see his shorty SSV stem

Bruno makes a great vape, but he's a poor judge of character -- called me a gentleman

Refreshing seeing a vape designer with his ego in check. Able to laugh along with us, as we all have that initial "gimmick" reaction

I was thinking the same thing about a glass cup - the angle of attack for attaching the cup to the puck seems like it could shear easily with glass and fracture/crack if you "wiggle" it on or off, as I tend to do with the plastic cup.

I wanted to build a prototype mug for bowle, but I realized quickly the main problem with ceramic is its opaque, so you wouldn't see the lighting system for feedback.

The glass cup is a big deal to me though ... without it, can't see using the cup much (I just much prefer glass and ceramic cups and mugs over plastic ... something about the plastic just doesn't taste right on my lips ...)

Tafée has already developed a prototype glass cup

I posted a pic and vid of it on page 6

The glass cup is wedded to the silver colored part that secures around the puck. It apparently works well in the video
Nice! A metal frame is a great idea for the glass cup. They obviously have a great design team over there. Looking forward to the new accessories they come out with! Maybe a ceramic mug with a small glass area at the bottom to see the indicator..

Not sure if this is feasible but could you decrease the diameter of a ceramic cup by a milliliter and mate the bottom with a clear glaze/material with the full diameter? My thinking is that the colour of the lights (blue or green) can be seen on the edge this way.

Am I making any sense?

The front of the cup is notched for the buttons, maybe the notch could continue a little further and leave a pocket for the lights. I don't think you'd be able to see them while using it, but in theory you'd be able to check your temperature setting/battery life at a glance without removing the cup.

Clear ceramics are a thing, but probably not really an option for the type of ceramic we would make a mug out of. Mating to another material would probably need an adhesive to form a water tight seal. Perhaps it'd be possible with cutting edge laser welding, but that degree of technology would be cost prohibitive.

@macbill ---Farking Genius!!!! :science::tup::rockon::clap: I can only imagine how great the TB is thru water. Thanks for sharing.

Anyone else notice the high seems heady with this vape? It's got my head cooked but I'm not getting the heavy body high? Maybe just a weird night?
@BestBuds -- Only when I stick around in flavor town(level 1)too long and don't take enough hits on level 4.

The cup thing isn't a big deal for me either way. BUT, better battery life would be on my list of what to make better. I'd love to get a days use out of a charge. But that hasn't stopped me from loving the time I have spent with the Bowle. I support whatever crazy ideas you all come up with here though. I think this TB is definitely a keeper and I am excited for Tafee group and their future updates/mods/endeavors.

Hands down one of my best vape purchases. My keeper vapes, Vapexhale Evo(still one of my absolute must-have favs), DynaVap(I was a former one-hitter/dugout smoker and this so reminds me of that, plus convenient on the go), and now the Bowle. I also have a MiniVap, and some days I get great performance, some days, not so great, but I think that's more on me and my technique, than the vape itself.

This 🔥Kryptonite flower currently in my Bowle, has never tasted so good!

I got this email in response to the aluminum dust thing:

"
Thank you for your email.

We can put your mind at ease.

Our comment is there is no risk of inhaling aluminum inside the vapor path of Bowle.

If used correctly as directed, the Ceramic Pot should never come in contact with the ball that holds the stem firmly in place. In proper operation the lips of the Ceramic Pot entirely forms a complete seal against the silicone gasket inside of the stem slot of the Puck Base Unit for a completely isolated airway.

It is highly unlikely to have any aluminum or finishing which adheres to the ball somehow get into your Ceramic Pot.

In the event your Ceramic Pot comes in contact with the ball that secures the Stem firmly, you should rest assured knowing Ceramic Zirconia has natural pencil attributes with metals, so marks left behind should cause no alarm.

Similar to the scuff marks left on Ceramic dishware from cutlery, the Ceramic Pot can and will display scuff marks.

The area around the top of the stem base and stem slot in Bowle will show signs of use over time due to friction, and we have built in tolerance for this.

However, as a first generation release we are committed to continue to work towards improving Bowle as we listen to our users feedback.

We plan to offer free upgrades for the Stem as solution when updates become available if you have concerns using Bowle in the long term.

"

But also, on the same day, I decided to clean my stem because I got a new strain. When I jabbed my Qtip into the base of the stem I got a few reflective flakes, as well it turning my qtip kind of grey :( (This was after having soaked the stem for 3 to 4 hours and shaking vigorously frequently with salt and iso... No amber resin/vape reclaim color, just gray  ) . I dont think its my stir tool like others have mentioned... it would be dull or a nub by now but its still so sharp I could draw blood with it lol.

I loved my bowle, and I'm glad they will support first-gen users with the stem upgrades, but I still felt like I should share :hmm:
