I've used kief, no sandwich. Works great. Though I haven't tried, I 'd bet oil on a small piece of cotton ball would work the way it does with my MyrtleZap.

Hi guys, just a little note from a huge SV2 fan, I have had mine a couple of weeks and love it! I have really come to love the smaller size, and it has no effect on the lung purging rips the SV2 provides. I am excited to hear more of what you all think of this unit, and hope you get your SV2 soon. I am typing in slow motion now because of the SV2, my hopes that you all will be typing slow soon too.

I just measured both units and there is a 1/2" difference in length from top of heat exchanger to bottom of wood where the mouthpiece fits in, all other dimensions are the same.

Mine was shipped today as well. Ed said he'd put some extra bits in to save me having to get them sent over later which is pretty cool. I could get it next week if I'm lucky so hope to see some good reviews & milk vids from people while I wait.

Surprised its only that much smaller. For me tho I think the the SV2 looks easier to use.

Thanks for the measurement. As I thought, not a large difference at all ... and as long as it still produces large vapor clouds ... the change doesn't matter to me
