Sticky Brick Junior by Sticky Brick Labs

If God is the answer, then the question is wrong
Sorry to ask a question @WakeAndVape .
As it looks like you won't answer, I'll have to wait the first reviews.
Great team @StickyBricks . Really friendly and polite.
I'll just unwatch this thread by now.

I'm no devil's blabla.. but you were the first one not very polite and not very friendly calling names on the vape this thread is dedicated to, weren't you my otherwise very polite and friendly friend?

If calling the SB a spin-off of Daisy is not friendly, I would like to apologies. English is not my first language and I didn't mean it. In Belgium "a spin-off" is not offensive. All I wanted to say is that the design is really Daisy-like. But the Junior brick is a great version. Portability first!

I mentioned how it is like Daisy and Lily combined, similar but different, Brick vs Daisy is pretty clear identical performance with a few slight differences. As far as vapor performance they are all phenomenal pure tasty powerful convection instant on demand, the Jr is smoother like the big bro and big sis

The other stuff is just semantics, and yeah going back and forth over it is pointless and shouldn't be in the thread really. Both of you are guilty of that, but its cool let's just move on and get back to discussing the Jr.

When I saw Belgium I figured it was an english as a second language issue. No harm done.

I couldn't agree more!

I think everyone in here has the best intentions, and I would hate to see those good Sticky vibes get spoiled. Hopefully soon we will all be sharing usage techniques with each other.

I for one can't wait to take my Junior hiking. I could see bringing my Brick in my backpack for a longer hike or camping, but the Junior seems like the all around perfect vape for hiking.

@Gregori i think we both may have gotten the wrong impression.

I was merely trying to clarify the difference...not attack you personally.

@Vapor_Eyes its is the perfect travel companion vape if you want brick hits on the go there won't be a learning curve, but a learning bump and it will give you ample excuse to feed your TAS!

I want to make another brick jr video since I dug out my old ipad any suggestions anyone?

I think a video that explains the different parts and how everything works in detail would be great. I'm pretty sure I know exactly how everything works, but this video could be very helpful to people who are unfamiliar with this style of vaporizer.

I find these types of videos helpful myself when deciding on a new vape purchase. In fact, your Brick videos helped me a lot when I was researching it.

That's a good point about TAS. I was wondering if you need a smaller flame because the load is a lot closer to the flame. It seems the default Eagle torch might be ideal for the Junior? Or do you beta testers use the same size flame that you would with the full size Sticky Brick?

My only apprehension on doing a detailed breakdown of usage at this point in time is because it IS in beta phase and it's known that there will be changes made before the final design is released. It would be up to @StickyBricks

I use the eagle torch for the junior but find it too small for the brick...the torch I use for the brick would be way too powerful unless it was held very far back.

But even in the realm of small eagle torches flame size and strength varies significantly...torches are probably THE most finicky accessory out there.

But there are three sections the lower section houses the bowl and the beginning of the vapor path.

the middle section is the part that holds the glass stems (intake + draw stem)

And the top is the cap to keep everything safe during travel

The intake is positioned over the load like the brick but with a slight angle.

The mouth piece has the brick bend and is positional in a few ways

It depends who your target audience is. Me, personally, I'd appreciate any SBL porn (lol, started to type jr. instead of SBL as precursor there- yikes!) Sounds like you're limited there, which is completely understandable.

Say you were drumming up some excitement for the release to the uninitiated, though, I'd go the complete other direction and make a very basic usage video with no narration. Nothing ground breaking but a style I enjoy. I'd imagine there's a steep drop off of viewership the longer a vid goes and the ability for quick yet powerful, portable on demand sessions is a major pro that could be shown off. Keep it a bit enigmatic and let both the speed of the process and the clouds speak for the Brick.

Part of the charms of this vape for me is the absolute speed and simplicity- of breaking it down, loading/unloading, ease of on-demand vapor production, now self contained and pocket-able.

A table, a junior, a lighter. In a quick but measured pace it's broken down, packed, assembled, fog machine engages briefly. Show off avb, dump, convert to storage mode, into pocket it goes. Sticky logo appears, fades to black haha

@StickyBricks I just wanted to check if spalted maple is going to be available on launch? From the pic above I'm guessing yes. For the Jr I've only got eyes for spalted maple.

Labor day is taking it's time getting here...

Here's a little something I created, hope you don't mind me having a little fun @StickyBricks:

Spalted maple, walnut, and cedar will be available on launch. We will have some more pics coming up of the production glass and completed units this weekend. I have a cedar Junior as my daily driver and I just love the reddish tint, but the maple is certainly looking great.

@Vapor_Eyes love that. I am a bit of an old school video games junkie and recognized that immediately.

Definitely no complaints about the cedar, I too love those reds (just really love the greys in the spalted). Its great that you are using some unique wood types, at least unique to the wooden vapes we all know and love.

Great work, can't wait to see the final product, with all the improvements it should be pretty amazing (especially since the betas are already pretty damn impressive!)

Ooooooh cedar.... for some reason I thought it was cherry instead of cedar. Damn it I don't have anything cedar either....

FUCK CANCER TOO !
@Shit Snacks we made a conscious decision to try to mix it up, so thanks. We have plenty of cherry so it may come later, but with the Junior we are trying to use some other woods we have collected over the years.

@StormyPinkness cedar has some very cool coloring in different lighting and it finishes really well.

Plus the cedar will help keep the moths and silverfish away from our stash!

Seriously though, does the cedar have any strong cedar aroma? If so, does that tend too add or subtract from the SLB Jr. Experience?
