Celebrating 1 year anniversary with my TM, with some high THC LemonMerangue, thanks to all the fine folks here who educated me about vaporizers & helped me pick a device I've come to consider my BFF, even if I have considered upgrading, I'll have my og with me, for eternity,

Definitely lived up to its name with the high THC% ... I was expecting a little sweetness along the other stated flavor profiles of gassy and dank. But two out of three wasn't bad as it had the desired effect. I also used one of the smaller mini buds i received ... the one in the picture was the best one of the eight. I'm looking forward to a little more over the weekend along with some Durban Poisan I still have a few buds of ... : )

@NYC_Frank, sweet batch! You've shared a lot of nice batch pics. I searched the La Bomba strain and it's generally described as hybrid or indica. Fascinating to see it labeled sativa in legal NYC. Please try to get another pic of the bud if u can as I'd love to see it clear clear (the focus is on the back end of the nug afaict, maybe you were a little too close). And more great shared Durban Poison experience!

Grabbed some of that today. Gonna be breaking into it tomorrow cuz i am in with the wifi-mints tonight
Durban poison on the left weing in at 15ish%. White durban on the right weighing in at 27ish%. These two nugs my uncle gave me. Havent had the white durban yet though….but as i said above, durban poison is excellent!

This is my third batch of Trainwreck in the last number of years (classic strain & an estimated 90% sativa). And the same source. Trainwreck is very high on my favorite strain list too

This batch is very dense & sticky, small nugs too. And vaping brings big big clouds. A friend picked up a bunch up & tried it here, with the first vape draw bringing the biggest cloud I've ever seen from my vape
. And it was immediately followed by a huge coughing fit that sent them to the bathroom to recover . Their second draw was more tentative & still brought a big cloud making them cough a fair amount again. They took a break, and after 5-10 minutes they took a third draw thinking the bowl would be waning by then. They were wrong, it brought another huge cloud 
followed by another massive coughing fit that sent them to the bathroom again

. That was a first. This Trainwreck batch is some of the strongest & most potent cannabis I've gotten my hands on

Good Trainwreck is no joke. Highly recommended strain, cheers & enjoy.

I love trainwreck but haven't had what I considered the real deal since 2005. I was making trips to Eureka to pick it up. Had to drive up a trail 45 minutes from the rural road to get to the place. The thing is it was very light green color and I remember it had a very strong lemon pine taste. So sticky it was hard to even break it up. My all time favorite and I think it still would be just as good today but maybe there are just so many cuts I am never going to get that one again.

Thought I'd found an attempt at a recreation of the Arcata Trainwreck and Aloha White Widow cross by Jojorizo known as Crystal Locomotive, which used to be a favourite of mine, when I saw Kera seeds Burmese Kush but unfortunately it grew like a pure indica and smells and tastes like black pepper
I did manage to find a 16 week or so pheno of Reserva Prevada's Sour Kush aka Headband tho (in the same grow) which isn't as sour and heavy as you'd normally expect from a 9-11 week Headband and more of the uplifting, trippy sativa haze high which was a nice surprise lol

Pepper tasting stuff is prettty evil in my experience....Tiime just passes ....and before you know it a lot of time has passed.. and you have done very little I am not going there again!

While most likely not exclusive, some hazes do and some colombians too. Might come from the same.
But I just lately heard on youtube someone claim the incense to come from afghan plants?! I personally haven't seen, but my experience with afghan plants is very limited. Afghan hash I had never smelled like incense.
edit: i was thinking of frankincense (smelling like boswellia), maybe it is different to incense?

Yeah, frankinsence is the stuff. Apparently the actual frankinsence (Boswellia) contains a substance they called incensole that has some similarities to cannabinoids, or interacts with the anandamide receptor.... pretty interesing stuff.
The aroma has indeed been found in indicas too, and the best I ever had was a haze-indica hybrid. Afghan Haze from Mr Nice can allegedly produce this aroma. It does seem unlikely to find a strain that will consistently produce it. Blue Dream has quite a bit of it, not so easy to grow but worth it.

I had a very stretchy Super Silver Haze from Mr. Nice that smelled like Church. I am not completely familiar with their pedigree, but chances are relatively big it is related to the Afghan Haze. And as they had big variations in their packs back in the day...
At Christmas I ate an edible from it and went to church. The whole church smelled like my weed to me from the incense they burned
