my first "fully legal" purchase in NYC ... Florist Farms "La Bomba" ...
So how is it?
Definitely lived up to its name with the high THC% ... I was expecting a little sweetness along the other stated flavor profiles of gassy and dank. But two out of three wasn't bad as it had the desired effect. I also used one of the smaller mini buds i received ... the one in the picture was the best one of the eight. I'm looking forward to a little more over the weekend along with some Durban Poisan I still have a few buds of ... : )
Haha, thx! You've got some great stuff & pics too@CANtalk your buds make me want to vape non-stop...
Sweet, it's great & great to share the Durban Poison experiencehad some durban poison for the first time a little while ago.
Came in at just over 15% and i must say….I LOVE IT!!!!!
I feel fantastic!!!!!!

@NYC_Frank, sweet batch! You've shared a lot of nice batch pics. I searched the La Bomba strain and it's generally described as hybrid or indica. Fascinating to see it labeled sativa in legal NYC. Please try to get another pic of the bud if u can as I'd love to see it clear clear (the focus is on the back end of the nug afaict, maybe you were a little too close). And more great shared Durban Poison experience!
Great to see it busy here! All that reminded me I need to post a picture of my new batch of Blue Dream! It's probably the best BD I've picked up. Big nug & zoom in, nice frosty, enjoy
I shared this BD on the "what's in your vape right now?" thread last week & many Blue Dream vape fans popped their heads up again, so awesome . Everyone try BD if u haven't!
This Blue Dream is the fourth new batch I picked up & shared here, & all have been very good++ (Hawaiian Snow, Durban Poison & Sour Tangie). Count me impressed with that batting average & hope u r all successful as well. TGIF & cheers
Thx for sharing, luv it ! There's lots of Trainwreck growers out there, the hunt is endless but hope you get to revisit some similar Trainwreck characteristics. At least it's still kickin' ass here , cheers!I love trainwreck but haven't had what I considered the real deal since 2005. I was making trips to Eureka to pick it up. Had to drive up a trail 45 minutes from the rural road to get to the place. The thing is it was very light green color and I remember it had a very strong lemon pine taste. So sticky it was hard to even break it up. My all time favorite and I think it still would be just as good today but maybe there are just so many cuts I am never going to get that one again.
While most likely not exclusive, some hazes do and some colombians too. Might come from the same.Anybody found any incense-like smelling strains?!
Yeah, frankinsence is the stuff. Apparently the actual frankinsence (Boswellia) contains a substance they called incensole that has some similarities to cannabinoids, or interacts with the anandamide receptor.... pretty interesing stuff. While most likely not exclusive, some hazes do and some colombians too. But I just lately heard on youtube someone claim the incense to come from afghan plants?! I personally haven't seen, but my experience with afghan plants is very limited. Afghan hash I had never smelled like incense.
edit: i was thinking of frankincense (smelling like boswellia), maybe it is different to incense?
I'd like to try blue dream someday. Sounds good

The aroma has indeed been found in indicas too, and the best I ever had was a haze-indica hybrid. Afghan Haze from Mr Nice can allegedly produce this aroma. It does seem unlikely to find a strain that will consistently produce it. Blue Dream has quite a bit of it, not so easy to grow but worth it.
