Hey folks.
I used to have a strain a long time ago that was an (unknown) Haze hybrid with Night Queen, an indica from Dutch Passion. It would be ready after 9 weeks of flowering.
it had the most sublime and persistent incense aroma and flavour similar to francincense, which is to me the HOLY GRAIL of cannabis.
It was also potent and resinous, with the resin sometimes turning black after keeping the herb for a while in warm conditions. It was really quite different to anything I have seen since or before.
Alas the clone was lost due to migration and lack of organisation
I have tried various sativas since but have not found this flavour again- just lemony stuff, or earthy stuff.
I did some research and it appears this is a phenotype trait that is usually not found in all plants of any particular strain...and is generally found in haze-indica hybrids.
Relevant strains mentioned by others to have such aromatic phenotypes are Kali Mist, Jack Herer, Afghan Haze, SAGE and potentially some indicas .... Pure landrace sativas that take months to mature are not where it's at for this. Jack Herer and Kali Mist genetics seem to have been diluted or weakened or lost?
Finding such a plant again would be heaven ..... does anyone have any clues?
