D-Nail caught them stealing their watermarked photos as well as some other photoshopped ones on their site. At the very least I'd wait until someone reliable reports back on having received their product and posts photos.Has anyone used the rosin tech gold press, either the 5x5 or the 15x15. What are your thoughts on it? Are they a good press is one better that the other? I don't see psi listed on their website anyone know if the 5x5 and the 15x15 are the same PSI?
what are you using for heat? are you just preheating some iron plates or do you have a regulated heater head thats handling those pressures?I recently acquired a three ton arbor press, which develops 3 tons of force with 60 lbs on the end of the bar. I put at least 120 lbs. on the end of the bar, so I'm using about 6 tons of pressure. I press about a gram of hash at a time, which is about one square inch.
I broke a 1 ton arbor press with the same process, which is why I have the three ton press now. I pressed at 160-180F then and now. The difference of having three times the force? Pressings yield more, faster, with greater ease. I can't do anything that I couldn't with the smaller press, it's just better all-around with more mechanical advantage
I don't use a hair straightener any more, but used to use one without temp control. Just get it up to temp, then turn it off to use a lower temperature. If you don't have an ir thermometer you should get one, but in the mean time you can apply a droplet of water to the surface of a heat plate to gauge the temperature.
I have a small clear top coffee grinder that I bought at Walmart for $15. It does a decent job of breaking up the chips with a little shaking, down into manageable consistency for a Solo stem. If you're going after efficiency you won't get all of the resin out of the chips. Just mySo I've reached critical levels on my stash and a buddy that is my current link for procuring more of the devil's lettuce is MIA - I've resorted to taking the massive collection of leftover nug pucks and re-squishing them at a slightly higher temperature setting after soaking them heavily in a pile of water I spill on a table, similar to what I read other users doing on here for fresh buds with a lack of moisture. Clearly this isn't the cleanest way to go about this, since I know I should be using distilled water but I'm using old leftover Perrier at the moment, but it works! Had to go through like 5-7 pucks depending on the size, and then use a refrigerator to help solidify the stuff and get it off the parchment, but I'm pretty excited about this newfound last resort stash I've sort of discovered - Rosin more and more reminds me of the idea of not letting any of the buffalo go to waste!

I pressed and dabbed some hops the other day, it was good, and I'll definitely be trying other herbs soon. I just ordered some Boveda packs, once they come I should be able to press plant material a lot more effectively.
Cheers for that heads up on the UV light bro! I have had a lot of trouble collecting this super clear cluster bomb rosin from my first bubble wash - this is gonna make that super easy.Soilgrowns dnail press has bent at the very top plate by the springs from high pressure to reach normal yields. He replaced the bolts with shorter bolts and mounted directLy to top plate. I can't post pics because it's private account. Bubble-man first big press yield was straight shameful. 40 g in 13g out lol give me a break. i am not impressed with the dnail press so far.
Has anyone experienced fish like flavor from dabbing flower rosin?
Has anyone pressed lavender, basil, thyme, mint, etc. yet?
Does anyone have a UV light to shine onto a parchment paper?
Edit
I went and purchased a uv light from China-Mart $10. It works for collecting rosin in less than ideal light easily. Also rosin looks crazy under uv light. You can see ever little drop of rosin.

Has anyone used this model? I hear good things about it.

Found it for sale here, and the owner's IG is here. About $600 for the kit but he also sells 20mm coil compatible heated pressing dies to make your own. That's awesome! I forgot about hops! I'm actually drinking a hoppy beer right now lol. I'm going to hit up the hop farm tommarow and see what they got.
did you press the hops fresh or dry?
This looks like a fun press. Puts my arbor press to shame.

Good idea man, get yourself some good trich covered material and bubble it up, the stuff squishes weight - I am gonna squish my 73 micron yield today, which I expect will be the best one of them all !Pretty sure I'll be going the flower>bubble>rosin route myself. What I need is some hash plant or something super trichy.
@herbivore21 are you using the 1 gallon bags?
