Comic actor Fred Willard of 'Best in Show' and 'Modern Family' dies at 86
Fred Willard, the comic actor considered by many a master of the mockumentary genre, died Friday at age 86.
Willard was best known for his roles in Christopher Guest films such as "Best in Show" and "A Mighty Wind," and over the course of his long career he made an art of dry humor that brought laughs in goofy, subtle and understated ways.

It must have been seriously weird to get pulled over by an LAPD cop only to look up and find Eddie Haskell in a mustache asking for your license! He was great in that part. Naughty with the kids and smarmy with the adults.

Downs, who also served as Jack Paar’s announcer/sidekick for five years on The Tonight Show and hosted the game show Concentration for almost a decade, died Wednesday at his home in Scottsdale, Arizona, his family said in a statement.
