Yup @szia that is similar to
@invertedisdead thought. The issue is the ceramic is an insulator so it takes time to heat up. Once the metal "on-demand" heater is optimized and tested we can evaluate it against a ceramic solution. Remember, this isn't your standard Wire wrapped ceramic wick... time will tell of this new tech's full potential and I am luck enough to have a group of expert testers that always lead me in the right direction.
Truth be told, I have very limited knowledge and experience and the Beta teams steer the development process.
@Other Side is far better equipped to answer questions as he is currently educating me lol.
If anyone has any wisdom with improving the flavor of an all SS heater / wick let's hear it!
It seems that maximizing surface are and wick thickness seem to make big improvements. The other issue that seems to play a factor is uniform temperature distribution. This requires that the speed of the heat-up be balanced with minimizing the temperature gradient. I am confident that with the expert feedback ahead (
@IAmKrazy2 has great taste buds) the tech will achieve a near ceramic flavor along side of many benefits.
