another thing to consider is the pre-milaana 3's were all handmade by ryan here in the u.s .... the milaana 3's are made in china ... i have a 1.5 and a 2 and decided against picking up a three because i liked the usa artisan made vape vibe (it's what drew me to the milaana in the first place).
Lol thats pretty much what got me looking for a 2, after I had already gotten my 3... I wanted something handmade by Ryan vs mass produced in China. Not that theres anything wrong with the 3 at all, I just wanted that hand crafted USA good good.
That's my unicorn vape. Get it and don't look back!
Yes, you need it. One of the finest vapes imo and different enough from a 3 to be worth it.
Agreed on being different enough from the 3 to be worth it. Put a few more stems through my 2 last night and I'm really starting to pick up on the differences between the 2 & 3 in terms of where one shines over the other type of thing.
Also agreed on the "get it and dont look back" .... just saying that is beautiful! Love the matching cap to body there...
But as someone who has only used the 3 and loves it, I don't think its worth the hassle or expense of constantly searching for a used 2. The 3 is such a fine piece of equipment for me that the 2 just isnt on my list of future vapes to own and I'm not losing a second of sleep over it. For the same reason that once I own a Lambo I'm not trying to own a 2nd Lambo. This is JMO of course.
I'm sure that 2 is better, but ignorance has never ever been more blissful..
If they had lied and said the M3 was handmade in the USA and you owned one, would you have known it was made in China?
Aaaand on the flip side as somebody who bought a 3 first, loves it, but decided that I wanted to get a 2 also....it was worth every second IMO. I didn't lose any sleep over it, thats a bit extreme lol. Just told myself if and when I see one pop up, I'll try and grab it. Sure enough not too long after that RBT posted some for sale on IG and I grabbed one.
Then again, if I could afford Lambo, I would want more than one... one for Saturday and one for Sunday.
As for your last question, interesting scenario. I think I'd naturally be inclined to believe the manufacturer anyway, so no.
If I picked up a Mi3 without knowing anything a single thing about it, then no, I could not tell you if it were mass produced in China or handmade in USA. However, IMO - there is a clear difference when handling the two side by side. If somebody were to ask me to guess which one was hand made vs mass produced in China I think I would have a much better chance at guessing that correctly.
