I had a quick question Tom. When you are using the car adapter and park to go to a store or whatever for a while, I noticed the light stays on. Is the PD being powered even when the keys out? If so can it kill the car battery or is the wattage low enough?

ya you know i started looking at expensive SYN glass bubblers which are amazing


but think I'll go with the EHLE glass


so diffuser stem is worth it..




I already have a big ass bong that I use with the EQ
which is why I kind of what a bubbler for the PD


but ya EHLE 100ml with diffuser is prob the cheapest high quality route

you might not find ANYTHING in a bub for 100, that's why
can def get a little tube for less, but no nice bubs, i could be wrong tho

also, i like my little beaker.
you guys really think a bubbler works better for this?

right now I have a weedstar slim jim ice catcher bong, its tall and 18.8


now, should I for now go the cheap route and just get an adapter and use this one? It does have a defuser stem.



But to be honest I'm kind of turned off by it now, think its way to tall, and not sexy enough to match with the PD coming my way.

I've had my Purple Days for about 2 years now and LOVE IT.

Anyway I've been looking for an answer to my question for awhile and found nothing specific.

I am looking for a way to clean out when herb falls DOWN INSIDE the unit.

I noticed a burning smell when some material fell out of the bowl into the body.

I shook it upside down and some particulate came out, but I think there's more in there.

It ruins the normally delicious taste/smell of the herbs.

Any thoughts?

A few folks have posted about unplugging it and turning upside down and giving it a bit of a spanking. Not too hard of course but I know I do it to mine once in awhile. Usually a couple crumbs fall out when I do it. Repeat as needed. Take care not to beat it too much lol...it doesn't deserve cruel & unusual punishment

I ordered mine a couple weeks ago as a special order from Pammy and she emailed me today with a tracking number great timing I must agree!

How tall is it? If it's more than 250mL I would get a new one (whatever you can afford obviously, I like EHLE personally not too expensive but great glass), because I feel like you get the best hits when it's concentrated (i.e. 250mL or less). But, in the end with the diffuser as long as you're vapin enough your bong should do just fine

I have had this problem too, and what I did is pick the unit up upside down and gently hit it against the palm of my hand while shaking it a little. After some stuff falls out I just smell the heating part to see if it still smells or not. I have noticed these little metal particles fall out along with the other material, but I beleive these are just loose sauder falling out, and nothing to worry about. But yes, when stuff falls down into the vape, it can quickly fill the room with the nasty, burnt vape smell, which can be annoying. I do wish there was a screen there

It's simple to cut one to size and press into the opening. I did it, took literally 2 mins.

You would think the one company handling these PD's would get there act together.


Don't understand why they can't same day ship these items when they know there are people waiting and waiting for these things.

Place order on Friday, should be arriving today, but they still haven't even shipped it yet.

Right I understand I'm not talking about the people that make them, I'm talking about vapenow.com who processes the orders and ships them.




I bought mine right at noon on friday. The company is near my house I should of had the package Saturday.

Now its Monday and the order still hasn't been shipped.. And its just annoying when people have been waiting MONTHS for the item, and you finally get one.....then you have to wait and wait for the company to print a freakin shipping label and put it on the box.

This is 2010, ordering at noon and having same day shipping is the norm now, specially on an item like the pd with a wait time already.

No, there is not a 2-4 week wait period, that is for a Pandora Kit. They go out in batches as parts are made.

The Purple-Days Originals, that Lowfront is talking about, are sold wholesale to Vapenow.com. They go on sale when they are on Vapenow's shelf. That was Friday Afternoon. They sold out Friday Afternoon. Saturday and Sunday follow Friday afternoon. Monday morning the post office opens.

The age of instant gratification may have unfairly raised expectations, same-day shipping in any industry (excluding perishables obviously) is a high bar to set and far from standardized at this point IME.

I am as excited to get my PD as you are Lowfront, but as you said yourself 'people have been waiting MONTHS for the item,' so what is an extra day or two for shipping?

Anyways I noticed that VapeNow no longer has any product listing for Purple Days, should this worry anyone who is still trying to buy one, or is there some reason to the madness?

Snuggly, like Tom mentioned in his post above, Vapenow sold out Friday afternoon (soon after they received the shipment it seems) and there will no longer be a waitlist for the PD. In other words, Vapenow will make ordering available when the PD's are on their shelves; this system will do away with the 'waitlist' proper and when you click 'order,' that means there's a PD in stock with your name on it. Correct me if I'm wrong anywhere

I lucked out and managed to order myself one on friday, figured I'd take a look and they had some in stock!! SO excited just have to go to the post office and get that money order into the hands of the people at Vapenow.

I ordered mine on Friday and I have not received tracking. I've even tried calling them and emailing them to get an ETA on the delivery time so I can plan to be home. This is the first time I have called a company and emailed them without them returning my emails or even answering the phone. Hopefully they will send an email with tracking I just hope the handling time is not too long. The only thing that troubles me is that it still shows "Pending".
