Just flooded the Lobo... Again. Gordito, I swear... Actually heard oven sizzle and knew. Gordito takes practice and then, can get you anyways somehow. Why the device still works I have no idea. Water and a bit of steam came out both ends of the pathway. 🤔 I'll just have to keep it super hot for a while. Again.

if it goes into the oven while on, it could be a brick making event. how do you dry it out? i'd use that gordito dry or filled with gems or balls that what i do with my dhv portable

seems to me running it would have the heater in the oven would drive all the moisture out. in the meantime letting it air out might be in order?
do not think that's what i'd do and not what 2 vape reps have advised about liquid going into their oven chambers. if it works that's a good thing.

I panicked the first time, thinking the same. Didn't think I'd be so lucky twice, but it's burned several cycles since then. I totally distrusted Gordito after the first flood. But I found a new way to fill it, thought the bubble prob was gone. Careless.

Doing both intermittently. Not cool to hear the oven sizzle. The herb in the capsule may have slowed the flooding.

I have no idea what's inside that thing/path, but water can and does come out the air intake holes ... and steam. I shook it vigorously and turned it at all angles while hot. Of course Gordito flew off the second I heard the sizzle ...

On the bright side, got a Dynavap coming tomorrow. Harder to wreck.

I spent a rainy Sunday designing new heat dissipation internals for my unreleased Silver Bullet (and other) stems, which initial testing shows cool/room temp vapor off 420F in the Lobo for an entire dosing cap. I'm getting the performance I expected from the lobo now!!! I guess things were just too hot and harsh for me before to use the temps that I needed (even on the oem dimpled glass stem), so I got the worst of both worlds.

Now, I'm blowing 4-5 clouds before a cap is done, and ABV comes out extremely even. Effects are complete and very nice. It's fun to get more out before reloading, which makes my gaming sessions uninterrupted. As always, the color is very pretty and nice to have sitting on my desk.

It's like steam cleaning the internals!

Those look amazing so time well spent. Really like the looks you've got going on. Gives it a real classy look and a nice sendup from the colored glass look that is POTV. I wish you much success.

My Lobo supposed to be here today.........hopefully

Thank you! I don't wanna say they are 14mm, because I don't have the CNC/skill to meet that slope spec, but I'm sure they will mate up with it no problem given the OD of the stem is about 12mm. I more do that for comfort and appearance. I'm crazy about cool vapor and have done a lot of hobby research, because I'm super sensitive to hot/dry vapor. I can confidently say that what I've just developed does cool the vapor to the point of making it feel cold for the first couple rips. I also have a complex cooling twist in current iterations that works very well.

The main reason I picked up a Lobo this month is because I respect POTV's dedication to accessory stem specs. I'm a bit salty that they make the insertion lengths different on everything, with the Lobo being the deepest, but they do their part to open a world of accessory stems to many popular vaporizers.

I'm glad I did because I'm warming up to the Lobo and enjoying what it has to offer. Also that green is so fetch!

Lobo looks like a Meshtastic transmitter, a bit.
Now I see it too and kinda love it!

@maremaresing You are definitely on to something with the metal stems - I'd buy one in a heartbeat. I drop and knock things over, matter of time with this glass. The stem Lobo comes with is discreet, but runs hot. The globe stem mouthpiece does a better job, but looks like a party. I need a medical device that's durable.

My only thought is if you machine them out of carbon steel, you could use firearm bluing solution to give a shiny, dark finish.

The WPA is short & discreet, and fairly robust. I use it instead of the stock stem.
