Frederick, I hope the come out with a GonG version as well, but last I saw on the subject was this:

We have had a lot of requests for extract cartridge storage tubes. Introducing doob tubes storage tubes. These are the perfect size to store and transport extract cartridges. They are airtight, odor proof and water proof. With several cap colors available, you can color code your extracts.

We are working on getting Dime Bags carrying cases for the Solo as well as stem holders. We have two specific stem holders we are looking at, but they only fit the straight stems.

This one is the same as herbalAire uses as a storage / cleaning tube for their mouthpieces and crucibles, it is 140mm long with a 23mm diameter:

This one is a Frosted Polypropylene Mini Tube w/ a Fine Mist Sprayer and cap to disguise your stem inside as a spray bottle. It is 123mm long with a 19mm diameter:

Which do you think would be best, or have both available or keep looking?

I've used this one (from ThermoVape) with my straight stems. I might be wrong, but isn't it a plastic bottle that hasn't been inflated yet?

And it usually costs more than the inflated bottle with the contents inside...
Anyway, my humble opinion is that we need something for the whole package and it shouldn't be much bigger than what it will hold inside. I have tried putting the Solo in a small case and the stems in another one and stuffing everything in a small waist thing:

It's ok and not a big hassle when out and about but it would be even better if everything goes in one small package. I had seen a Braun case at an early post of this thread and something similar would be great...

The bud buddy who posted this said it's very secure and everything fits tight in there.
As for stems only, I would prefer something like the doop tubes (do they fit the solo stem too?). Like the spray tube but without the spray. Do the bottle tubes keep the stem tight inside or it rattles?

i like the stealthy version number 2 personally. but i don't have a solo

Rattles a tiny bit, but still pretty snug (at least the one from TV). I am sure you can pad it with a tiny bit of tissue paper or something. As-is - I don't think it's loose enough to break if you dropped it from a few feet up, but I haven't tested that

And I am totally on the same page as you with the case for the whole thing. Another member sold me his HI, and he gave it to me with this pretty awesome DIME BAGS (8 inch?) case. That thing is fucking awesome!! I think the 10 inch one JUST MIGHT fit the Solo, Charger, stem and a grinder and small container. That's what I am looking for - but not sure I want to buy it blindly, and find out otherwise...

PV, I missed the point with the Dime Bags... I didn't get that it was a brand but I got into their site today and they look fantastic!!! Will you have a good variety of them? Have you tried any of them with the Solo specifically? Does the 10inch sessnet mentioned hold everything in? I wouldn't want the charger in there myself but if it fits the Solo, a bent stem and a small container I am all in! I think I like that passport bag (7''x9'') if it fits the above items..

I think the 8inch will fit the Solo, 1 stem, but not much else. They are SUPER padded. That is good because they keep stuff safe, but not so great because the padding thakes up so much room.

I will give the 8inch a try tonight when I get home. I was hoping the 10in one was a lot bigger, that way I can hold EVERYTHING (just the charger too I guess), and have everything in 1 convenient place.

Dime Bags

I measured the DIME BAGS I had - and it registered 6.5" across by 3.5" high.

The Solo barely fit in it by itself. You might be able to squeeze in a glass stem, but high chance that stem will break.

I think it needs at least the 8" one, but they have different shapes and sizes and inside volumes, so I am not sure which one would be best.

I might have the same size one as you sessnet, I find it great for carrying stems safely, I just keep the solo separately.
I can easily keep 5-6 stems in it and they are all nice and safe for travel.

Any chance you can do a vid of the bubble action (no milk) when you get it to illustrate it stacking ? There was only ONE vid I could find online of it and it was too difficult to see it working.

Yes exactly, they are for making plastic pop bottles. They cost more than a bottle of pop because the size needed is much larger than a standard 2 litre pop bottle. We should be stocking some soon.

We have not got any yet to test, but will hopefully be carrying the full line of pouch bags and tube bags. We also like the reasonable pricing for a high quality bag as well as the smell proof inner pouch on most bags. We have been working on getting these for a long time now and will try to get an 8", 10" and small passport bag right away to see what fits and take some pics.

Thanks rufrothy, we try hard to find the best solutions available that our customers and FC members ask us for. We have a proper sized water pipe adapter for the THC lineup being released very soon, it consists of a custom made GonG joint in either 14mm or 18mm attached to High Quality / High Temp Silcon brand silicone tubing sized to perfectly fit over the end of an extract cartridge.

Nice pickup Bob Loblaw, that is an actual Toro Glassworks piece, made in the USA by Toro, but for less than half of the 350.00+ for the Toro branded one. We really like it and have gotten a huge response on them. A nice vid would be great, thanks for offering.

Testing the final group of PVHES prototypes for the next week or so until a King is crowned and then into production. The first batch will be limited availability.

Thanks for that S420S, I saw that too, but something doesn't sit right about it to me.
As far as I knew, black leaf stuff was made in china, I thought they did their own stuff (knockoffs of other designs sure, but I thought they made it themselves) I also wouldn't have thought that Toro would want to associate their brand with black leaf?
I might wait for PV's official word on this, as I've never heard of those black leaf pieces being re-badged toros, so I'm curious to know where thy got the info (I'm not saying its wrong, just... out of the ordinary)
