We also have a new size available of the Solo Ground Glass on Glass Adapters, 24/40. They cost a little more due to the much higher cost of the large joint. 9mm ones will also be available soon.

Our new PVHES (PlanetVape High Efficiency Stems) are getting closer to production. A few more weeks and they should be released. Currently there will be 3 different models:

PVHES Shorty
PVHES Turbo

More information about them will be available closer to their release date.

Our M107 Solos went on a tear this weekend and just sold out, our new Solo stock should be in Thursday or Friday.

Hi sessnet,
The Y adapter is a really trick piece, double barreled Solo action, just make sure you got the 18mm version as the 14mm does not have enough clearance for two Solos and will not hold the weight as well either. We also recommend using it in a water piece that has a 90 degree orientation where the stem is straight up and down to minimize leverage on the joint of your water piece.

It can also be used with our whip adapters (we have them, just not listed for sale yet) which also double as a MFLB All Glass Water Pipe Adapter (WPA) to connect other vapes which have a similar draw rate.

I did get 18mm because most of my stuff is 18, thanks PlanetVape!

In case it didn't fit - I have a couple of 45 degree 18mm to 18mm adapters so I could position them different. But now I realize that might not be best idea because the solo might swing around.

I am wondering how would you describe the experience you had with the Duo? Compared to just the Solo

Better draw, only marginally restricted.
the hits didn't seem all that harsher, it basically felt like I was hitting a regular solo with better draw.
and more vapor overall.
Also, if you have the Y adapter facing you, you can actually see the difference in vapor production between the 2, which I thought was pretty cool.
It gave me visual confirmation that my SS Solo runs 1 number cooler than my Ceramic.

Overall I quite Like it

here is a hard to explain simplified drawing of one prototype:
draw is drastically improved and vapor production is increased, but the bowl caches faster (in less hits)
The green lines are "micro channels" flowing air down the side of the stem, getting heated on its way to enter under the V notches around the bottom edge of the bowl. There are several iterations being tested right now.

I was just wondering if the next round of custom stems would include air grooves, and a short stem would be cool too... I am getting a collection of unused stems, mostly just using the stealth adapter now, with a short whip.

I like the idea of channels, and especially the notches for more airflow as that alone should replace the need of rocking the stem to force better vapor. No worries about an earlier cache as it just means less sucking to me because I most 'sip' anyways because I can't direct lung hit personally.

Anxious to try them out when they do release no doubt, as I've always been happy with every purchase of toys I've made so far.

A 2X larger bowl would mean that the top of your herb would be outside the heating chamber, leading us to believe that the efficiency would be very poor.

We are actually going the other direction. The PVHES Shorty will hold about 30% less. Don't you find the herb at the top of the bowl near the 4 holes in the stem is never nearly as dark as the herb lower down?

By shortening the bowl a little, your load seems to be extracted much more fully and evenly and as a bonus the draw is less restricted. Maybe what we really need is a double barreled Solo.

Great explanation and it's a pain to stir the current bowls. I'm really looking forward to even MORE efficient vaping!

30% less is no problem for me as I normally only vape a 'pinch' at a time, remove the stem and give it a tap, raise the temp to setting 6 and finish it. Then if I want more of an effect, I just do another stem. That way, I always have a good flavor throughout and an evenly 'spent' poo.

I guess it must be the low quality stuff I get - 1 bowl barely does the job for me :/ Doesn't matter if it's on 2, or 7. What # do you use?

I guess that's why I would like it to hold 2X the amount, so I don't have to reload....

You're so lucky! Do you vape multiple times per day or just once? How many grams/day?
