I’m sorry... I should have mentioned I wasn’t going to have a chance to actually use it as I was at the airport on my way to Denver for 420 when it was delivered.

That would have been relevant to mention () instead of me having to keep checking back to see if you, or anyone, posted. :| Held off ordering to what I thought was last min., 3am my time this morning. Lucky for me, HH gave it an initial thumbs up. But, I accept you apology ... this time. :) Next time. :goon:

My Accessory Attachment arrives Monday, will post Monday night or Tuesday about how it works with Fury 1.

The attachment ships from the East Coast, while the other stuff in my order (curved glassware to use in the Accessory Attachment) shipped from Nevada, and so the latter already arrived (along with the Dynavap coil, seems amazingly small for $25, but I wanted some reason to use the Dynavap and some good way to use concentrate).

[ Note that I have zero interest in "flavor" of herb (although I am, of course, not opposed to anyone else's interest in that). I am used to a dichotomy of cheap herb that tasted like burning sticks, or amazing herb where 5 minutes later, you could not possibly remember what it tasted like. Most herb today is halfway between. ]

Does the attachment come with a mouthpiece, or is it naked (no mp)? TIA

@His_Highness, the accessory attachment is included in the package. I guess many Fury 2 owners would want to upgrade to this attachment for the increase in bowl capacity.

Don't know if they listed all the attachments as supplemental for purchase during the 420 sale, but they are now on the website for sale. If I wind up liking the One, I'll order the silicone protector & probably the bent spikey stem from puffitup.

...the bowl size difference is really splitting hairs..I guess if you’re in a group setting there’s value..it’s really not that big a deal..many prefer “micro docing “ (not a disciple) so you have a added component of versatility.

Okay, I just used the Accessory Attachment on my Fury 1 with the included glassware.

Just to be clear given the recent comments, the advantage to me is that I can use glassware without having to remove it while it is hot. Healthy Rips confirmed that leaving the glassware inserted into the chamber was bad for the Fury and would distort the chamber. This is because the chamber swells with heat and shrinks with cooling.

Second problem with the Fury and glassware is thus that the glassware gets stuck in the Fury if not removed while hot. This produces three big user problems: 1) If the herb is good, the user forgets to remove it, 2) if the user removes the glassware, it is hot and the user will often burn themselves, and 3) if the user forgets, then in order to reload with more herb, the user must heat up the Fury AND the glassware, causing the glassware to be hot at the exact time they want to reload the vape - so more burns, or else sitting around waiting for the glassware to cool AND using up an additional cycle of the battery.

I posted all this in the Fury/multibrand thread, requesting an Accessory Attachment for Fury just like the Fierce Accessory Attachment - which solves all these problems for the Fierce. No reply from HR. Marketing people always love better features for the more expensive product.

So, when I saw POTV had created a Fury Accessory Attachment, I ordered one on the first day, and it arrived today.

First impression - the included short straight glassware seems to do the job adequately. I ran two cycles at 430 F (max temp) one right after the other. (This would make a Fury with the standard Fury mouthpiece quite hot to the touch, and during the second cycle, even the mouth end of the standard mouthpiece gets hot to the lips.) With the Accessory Attachment and included glassware, everything is cooler even after two max temp cycles.

So, for me, no hot mouthpiece, and no need to remove a hot piece of glass or try to fill the end of a narrow piece of glass with little bits of herb. So, BIG plus on all that, especially for $15.

I also ordered the Curved Glassware. Unfortunately, it is barely longer than the included glassware. But given the above, it might be long enough for cooling. It's not long enough to allow you to see the display right side up (which is why all the recent Fury's and the One allow flipping the display in software). Besides being curved, which creates a more convenient position (many famous vapes include built-in mouthpieces pointed towards the user), it is also opaque and black, so that people also have a style option. It does look more 007 with the curved black glassware.

The one disadvantage of the Accessory Attachment is that it entirely covers up the Green and Red lights. I was not expecting this. So, when used with a Fury, there are no lights and no "haptic feedback". I much prefer the Red and Green lights - but - I WAY prefer the Accessory Attachment to not having it.

So, I will wait to see if HR's noises about a "Fury 3" might include a Fury Accessory Attachment that allows the lights to be seen. (I have two Fury 1s, so another Accessory Attachment would be fine.)

FYI - POTV Accessory glassware is roughly 0.35 inch ID and 0.97 inch OD. If that matches some pre-existing glassware that can be used with 430 degrees F, that would be interesting information.

UPDATE: I tried the curved glassware and the vape is at a more convenient angle, sticking out the side. You can then turn it over the vape for more compact storage after using.

Second impression - the larger diameter of the Accessory Attachment glassware vs the smaller diameter of the HR Fury glassware is evident in an even easier draw, and more "clouds" (first time I've ever used that term :) ). Two consecutive cycles got the unit somewhat hot, but the vapor was only pleasantly warm, and the same for the tip of the glassware.

Since 4/20 passed and now it makes even less sense for us Europeans to get one, my question to @PlanetOfTheVapes becomes:
are you planning on having EU distribution for this vape? Maybe Vaposhop?

We definitely want the ONE to be available through European (and other) distribution channels and have had some conversations about this with (potential) partners overseas. Nothing definitive yet but we are working on it.

For those interested, POTV now has dosing caps in stock.

Glad POTV came up with a much needed accessory attachment for the One, HR should have one, too.

There can only be ONE.

Is the bowl anodized? I just got mind and it looks like brushed aluminum with machine scratches/brush marks. I have never seen anodization (sp?) look like this.

As to the second attachment type, looks good. I had been saying for some time that HR should have done this. The screen is very tight mesh, so different than on HR Fury, which is a thin plate with holes.

So far, I am very satisfied with the One Accessory Attachment in my Fury 1, using the optional One bent black glassware. It seems just long enough to cool the vapor sufficiently, and it is wider than the Fury glassware, so it draws even better, and I can leave it in the vape all the time. It rotates smoothly to stick out for use, and then back over the vape making it more compact.

I would prefer a little longer piece of glass - but - the cooling is sufficient, and I expect that POTV prefer for the vape to be sturdier - this shorter wider piece of glass is much less likely to break or crack than the longer, thinner Fury glassware.

BTW, I thought I would miss the green and red lights (which are covered up by the AA), but at this point, I have a good feel for how long the bowl takes to heat up sufficiently to use, and so I just start pulling when I think it is somewhat hot, and that works fine.

@PlanetOfTheVapes - Your accessory page for the One that has the bent glass mouthpiece, should have a picture of the One with the Accessory Attachment and the bent glass mouthpiece, so that people considering a purchase of the bent glass mouthpiece can see what it looks like inserted into the vape.

That's called crazing, and is occasionally visible with anodized aluminum. It's cosmetic and won't affect performance.

Glad you like the Accessory Attachment!

Hi, all! In hindsight, I wrote a book. (Hurry, someone call my publisher!) Sorry for my review taking so long to post... especially after I chided @DVision44 & @His_Highness about the very same thing. :brow: Sorry guys. :D

Also, sorry for my review being painfully long, but it's a one-shot, finite deal. So, if anyone feels it's tl:dr, I fully understand.

The One was delivered this past Wed. While charging (forgot to pay attention to length of initial charge time), read all POTV's website articles & even HR's Fury manual; I'll explain in a future post as to why. I cleaned the stems, screens & mps. Then did (3) 4-min. session burnoffs. I only needed 2 cycles, but I did another 2 to experience how the haptic feedback felt. After charging, I took a rung-out q-tip with warm water & swabbed around the bowl, & didn't pickup any mfr'g oils or visable particles, nada. Then, I vaped a bowl.

Have put through 3 bowls dry & only 3 bubbler hits. I'm a microdoser - 1 bowl/5 hits & I'm good. Through water, those 3 hits hit me like a Mack Truck; equivalent to 6 hits (1-1/2) bowls on my Splinter Z. From what I presume from reading the Tera thread, the ONE would be considered on par with the Tera through water; hard hitting.

I ran the dry bowls at 376°F & through water @ 400°F. The vapor was harsh at 400, so next time I'll start at 376 & step up as needed.

Now, as to my opinion of flavor: If you're someone being all about the flavors, like me, & who only buys what's considered to be top tier flavor vapes, you will be disappointed in the lack of flavor. Out of the 5 hits I get from a bowl dry, the 1st hits have nice, mid-level tasting, convection flavor; the 2nd hits only have light, but pleasant, convection tasting vapor; 3rd hits completely neutral; & the last 2 hits bitter, conduction taste - the last is terribly bitter; to me, akin to the smell of a dirty cig. ashtray for all you former/current cig. smokers. 1 more hit, no-doubt, would be G-d-awful, if not combustion.

Compared to the Z & Ghost, the One's vapor is less dense. I have to inhale with a fair amount of draw in order to pull air through the airpath, thereby, causing the vapor to be drawn up from the bowl into my mouth.

I'm so glad I bought from POTV because I like the haptic feedback (much better than taking cues from lights) & the stems not sliding into & taking up valuable, limited bowl space. The 2 features that the Fury 2 has that would complete the One is the inclusion of stealth mode & ss used for the bowl. I'd buy the One again over the Fury because I really like the haptic feedback, the mouthpiece cutout design & the stems removed from the bowl. I assume that the attributes that each vape has is incorporated into an agreement with the mfr. that these features are, inessence, patented, solely, to each respective retailer.

As far as accessories, it would have been beneficial if it came with some type of a mp protector, even if POTV charged a couple dollars more. The Fury cover can be had at PIU for $20 + PUFFEDUP 15%-off code + free shipping. Before I buy a tiny $15 piece of silicone, I'm gonna see if I have a soft-sided clam shell compact case to slip it into, or I may just put my money into purchasing a cushioned change purse.

As far as stem accessories, I added in the waterpiece because, from previous experience, these types of adaptors work well as stems, too. The stealth mp will work great for my outside use, but the waterpiece will be good outside for non-stealth use. If I had disposable $, I'd buy the POTV curved water mp & the spikey stem from PUI for outside the house use in non-stealth situations like at a party or bbq.

I'm sure at some point I'll need extra screens & mouthpieces because I tend to think that the mp hinges, catches really, will wear away with repeated use as they are only super-thin plastic.

I just read a rumor that the Fury 3 may be on the horizon. Depending on what accessories are included I might pick up a F3 on sale. $100 to have a silicone cover, extra mouthpiece & to check out how much more resistance the Fury ss screens really have. Also, if I'm somewhere where someone wants to try it out, instead of me having a 4-min. bowl & then passing it over to them, we both could have our own bowls - but the One is mine. We'll see.

I bought this strictly for stealth usage AND convenience in doing such things as going for a walk, walking a dog (if I had one ;)), a barbeque, the beach, boating, fishing, an outdoor concert AND because I wouldn't dare take my Ghost anywhere with sand or water. :o For this usage it fills that niche splendidly in my vape arsenal. As far as the lack of flavor, who cares, as it gets my head where it's going. I'm very happy. I think that POTV needs to have enough stock for BF as I think sales will be good.

Wish the One would have been named something else so when referencing it, one wouldn't have to decipher in their head if "One" means ONE, or 1, or one as aforementioned above, especially if the "o"ne is lowercase.

@POTV' I have something to say about the directions: 1) the font is too tiny to read 2) the lack of print intensity (think toner/ink running out, 3) why can't you incorporate the 2 extra sheets into the instruction manual so we only have one phamplet to keep track of. Good grief, one of the pieces of paper is smaller than the size of an open matchbook! The print is so small & faint that I had to use an LED flashlight at night to read it. Couldn't find a magnifying glass. Be advised that after age 40, the eyes take in 50% less light at night.

There was 1 final thing I wanted to mention, but I forget what it is right now ... Is it any wonder? :mental:

^ I want to clarify that the waterpiece I selected was the wpa that has the universal 10mm, 14mm & 18mm waterpiece connection. It makes for a comfortable, fairly stealth mp - better than the significantly shorter smoked stem that comes with the mp assembly.

And, I remember what I wanted to say. Be very careful using that bristle cleaning brush because the twisted metal at the top is completely exposed & sharp; the nylon bristles are so sparse that you can consider them non-existent. So, if you insert the brush head into the bowl, you are gonna scratch the shit out of the aluminum; maybe even damage it.

So the only things remaining to do to fully understand this vape are:
  1. Use it through water a couple of more times to hone in my temp(s). Maybe when I'm using it out & about, someone will whip out a silicone bong.
  2. See how long the battery actually lasts. It's rated for 30 or 35 min. while the F2 is rated for 40. So if I'm sharing with someone, we can have 3 bowls each with 1 or 2 left over. As I said, I'm a microdoser, so 1 bowl/5 hits every 2 hours means I'm good for 6 hours which is normally how much I vape.
  3. I need to try the dosing cap. I did insert it in the bowl & compared the draw resistance with & without it & felt no noticeable diiference. The bowl is probably aluminum & is rigid. Due to this rigidity, it's easy to handle despite it's minute size. I'm pretty sure I read on the PIU site that the F2s are mesh.
I'll report back when I finish these evaluations.

Here’s my review of the POTV ONE:

Nicely packaged and presented, if you care about that (I do not).

Unit has a nice solid feel to it. Charged it as recommended (2 hours), then did 3 burnoffs at 430F. Still had a plastic odor coming from the body mouthpiece attachment area, and a slightly different odor coming from the silicone gaskets. Quick start manual said to do 1-3 burn offs, so I was hesitant to do more. Decided after burn off 3 to load it with some GSC and see how that went. Flavor of herb is very good, but still a lingering plastic taste. (Subsequently went to full manual online, where it says to repeat burn offs until there is no odor. Oops!)

The plastic and silicone smells did fade after I ran some herb through it, about 6 uses. With that gone, I’ve got no complaints about this vape.

I like the way the glass pieces work—they are easy to keep clean, and can be hot-swapped easily, if I decide to finish out a bowl through water. Bonus: the Hula cooling stem for dynavap that Sneaky Pete sells fits well in the ONE’s accessory mouthpiece (and in smoke color, looks great, see below).

I love the quick heat up, and the fact that I can microdose easily with it. That was my intention for the miqro and it worked less well for my usage pattern. I rarely use a whole 2 minute session on the ONE; I tend to just need 2 or 3 good long slow inhales. I’ve taken to taking two, turning it off, and using the third to help cool down the bowl, which I’ll return to later.

I’m not concerned about the aluminum bowl, YMMV. (There’s good discussion elsewhere on the forum.)

Flavor is quite good. Not at the level of the Lotus, which many consider among the best-tasting vapes around, or a good log vape, but quite pleasant for about the first half of the bowl. The later hits are fine too.

It feels easy to use out and about, though truthfully I usually just bring a vape pen when away from home. Fits in a pants pocket, albeit a bit bulky compared to miqro because it’s thicker. This kind of stuff is so individual. I like the haptic feedback. You can turn on and return to your pocket until it is ready to hit. Increases the stealth factor.

Wish that a silicone mouthpiece cover like the one that comes with the Fury 2, or something of similar function, was included with the vape.

My preferred mouthpiece is the bent black glass one. Straight one it comes with hits noticeably warmer.

Bottom line: highly recommend.
