Discontinued Pinnacle Pro

I am looking for a car charger that will support plug in usage for the pinnacle pro. What are your solutions?

Doesn't have to be a car charger but i read people are using battery packs (which I am fine with) but I just want one that supports plug in usage as well.

I am thinking of doing this

Not going to work I'd say mate - I don't believe you can pull through the 3a that you need from a single usb port - however I wonder if you could add on an extra usb male end on wired up the same as the one on that one you listed and draw 3a by using both usb ports on that portable charger?

I don't know a lot about electronics, but I've heard about folks ruining their units plugging them into an adapter that wasn't made for that particular unit. I applaud those of you trying to make this unit even better but be cautious. Thanks for all your effort.

As in cutting a screen to fit inside the bullet? If so yea and I feel like I lose a lot of cloud production. I will try the organic cotton
I've found that the screens need to really be cut and bent to fit very carefully, or they do really block things up. I also find you need to replace the screens every now and then if you use oils especially!!!! Be careful if you are using really dense sticky resinous plant material, if an internal screen in the bullet gunks up, you are gonna lose precious vapours to a gunked up screen, I find it also can lead to sticky goodness leaking into the heating element through the exhaust holes at the bottom and becoming sticky badness!

Interesting. When I was using the NO2 screens, was getting major loads of visible vapor, and the whole damn bullet was capped and sealed with screen. Didnt feel like I was losing anything. Mind you, I didnt have a screen in the PonG as I quickly realised that was kinda pointless for me.

Back in October I had to send a unit back because while taking the mouthpiece off it stuck to the unit itself.I pulled too hard and broke the top sleeve area of the Pnp off. I assumed it would be covered under warranty, it was not. Make sure the unit is warm if the mouthpiece is difficult to take off. It makes taking the mouthpiece off easier. I don't use the mouthpiece anymore, I use the pong.

It cost $50 plus shipping to get my unit fixed. It came back looking like a whole vape. But with all the problems with the mouthpieces, I felt like it should have been covered. I felt like I didn't have a choice, it wasn't useable the way it was. Just a word of caution.

i just purchased the pnp, was solely bought for stealhty sessions out and about in clubs etc, i'm a bit disappointed tbh i can't get past level one without my throat feeling like it has been brutalised, so, so harsh.

maybe i have been spoiled with my cloud all this time, the only way i can hack the pnp is using my own water tools and that defeats the purpose it was intended for, don't know what the future holds in terms of portables but its not quite there for me.

My mouthpieces both stick becuz of residue, but im afraid to clean them. All ive read is about how hard the screens are to get out and put back. Plus I guess ISO is no good bcuz of the plastic cracking.

I posted the same thing when I first started using mine, you will get use to it. Just go very slow.

The heating element is really close to where you are drawing from. Since this is a Vape and not say a pipe, the more you draw the more heat you pull from the chamber, but you get the same amount of vapor(Or a very small negligible increase).

You don't wanna inhale 300+* air lol, just take it slow. Sip the air out consistently and you will get nice warm puffs(Warmer on 4-5, but tolerable) vs dry heat.

I found with both the Volcano and the PnP, that unless I exhausted the vapor at lower heat levels until no more vapor or taste were produced, I would cough severely at higher temps. So with the Volcano, visible vapor and a full high were at 6 and above on the temp dial, but if I started there, I'd cough up a lung. If I start at level 3 or 4, use that until I'm certain I've vaped as much as I can at that temp, moving up to levels 6 to 9 would be a lot easier for my lungs to cope with. The same seems mostly true of the PnP for me.

A very thin layer of cotton in the vapor path really helps too (too thick a layer and it takes all the good stuff out of the hit). I read somewhere (on FC I assume) that a user thought the Volcano pumps out larger particles than most vapes, and thats what causes such extreme coughing. I have no idea if that theory holds any water at all but the cotton certainly catches big lumps of oil, is great for reclaim and definitely helps me cough less! Maybe the PnP can throw out large vapor particles in some instances? Maybe there is something that vapes at lower temps (terpines? thc?) that makes some of us cough more? Anyway, I def seem to have found that vaping a bullet at level 1 for some time, then taking the bullet up thru the heat levels helps me not cough, and maybe that will help someone else :D

I've certainly found a long, slow draw really helps with the PnP. I can get quite considerable clouds on very low heat levels and I've wondered if its my draw technique that contributes to that. My advice to any friends who try the PnP is always "the slowest draw you can until you feel a tickle in your throat, then stop as you might be about to cough". Does anyone ever listen tho? No, of course not :)

Same here. Sometimes now tho, surprisingly regularly for me (depending on how shit my lungs are that day), I can whack the PnP straight up to level 4 or 5 and not cough. Sometimes I have to really supress the cough tho, cos once I start, a lung is coming out ;) I'm still not sure how much of this improvement is down to technique, strain, and having not combusted for nearly 6 months, my lungs improving... etc or a combination of every factor under the sun, but it feels damn good :D

white russian, this is definitely the harshest out of all the portable vapes. Id suggest trying a PAX, SOLO, or waiting a week or so for the new indica. None of these models are harsh IMO even at the highest of settings I can hit all 3 for over 10 seconds. I was only able to take maybe 2 seconds rips with the PNP but then again I never tried sipping on it or hitting it slowly like it was suggested.

Interesting. I've used a PAX as a friends got one but not the SOLO. The PAX has crazy draw restrictions for me, I know the SOLO is renowned for its milkshake draw. I wonder how much this contributes to the harshness or lack of? My friend who owns the PAX cant get her head round how Im not coughing like crazy using the PnP, as it brings out the worst in her lungs (the slow draw seems impossible for her)...

Hmm...

If you know how to draw from a MFLB, then this shouldn't burn your throat at all.

I've been experiencing the same issue. In my case there is sticky residue around the bottom of the barrel of the PONG and the black collar at the top of the PNP body. In other words, the resin is on both parts that connect together resulting in a strong bond.

I had to resort to quick ISO Q-Tip wipes on the collar of the body (held upside-down) and overnight soaking of the PONG in PBW. The PBW was disappointing relative to how effectively it cleans glass. However, I neglected to brush the build up where the PONG screen meets the plastic and some of that stickiness may have spread to the PONG barrel. I think careful brushing of this area along with long hot PBW soaks will be adequate.

I am also looking for a way to clean my mouthpiece without using ISO to avoid ruining my mouthpiece. I've heard some people say soak it in warm water and then just use hand soap but I tried that and It did not help very much.

Does anyone have a really effective way of cleaning their mouthpieces?

Also how do you clean inside the chamber where the bullets go? I dont want to damage the heating element, so I haven't stuck anything in there to try cleaning it yet. but it could use a light cleaning.

Thanks a lot to anyone who can help!!!!!

I just use the supplied cleaning brush after every session. I have also given a quick light ISO Q-tip swab of this chamber.

Some good news for anyone with mouthpiece cracks, VB responded to my email asking for a shipping address so it looks like they're willing to stand by their product and at least replace the mouthpiece.
To anyone else with the issue, get a couple pictures of your mouthpiece and your receipt together and email VB (@thevaporblunt@gmail.com) for your replacement.

I am glad they can replace it, and is welcome. A revision seems more appropriate lol.

Yes, the issues will still happen. What do they want an endless replacement cycle(limited by length of warranty obviously)? lol
