Old & In the Way
ah my bad I guess not sorry Akira1977 dude. Got to be another Euro seller out there maybe?
Been using my Pax2 all day so far. I like it initially, love the size and ease of use but the vapor i have not been impressed with sadly. Compared to the crafty it isn't up to par. My last session was finely ground and packed pretty tight i thought, but still I was only getting very minimal vapor and very wispy and that was going from temp 1-4. The taste is nice and the effects I feel just but nowhere near what I am used to.
Am I doing something wrong here? How tight and full can I pack this thing before restricting airflow? Advice appreciated guys just going back through this thread now and find out what I am missing :/ Am i just not packing enough herb and tight enough to get what I am after?
Different way of taking a draw, a bit like sipping, in short puffs. Long, direct-inhaled draws are a bit futile, since the heater can only create X amount of vape in a given time, the steady long draw goes on after it clears the oven, when there's no point in continuing. But shorter puff, then inhale, puff, etc allows the Pax time to do it's thing. This also allows time for the Lip Sensing Technology to boost the temp. over the duration of your draw. Hope I'm not being repetitive here.
Other thing, only because you didn't mention; is your product nice and dry? Shouldn't be powder, just fine grind.
Others have said it's not necessary with Pax 2, but I find a mid-bowl stir very effective, when doing a full bowl. I usually don't use two petals, never just one. You may be frittering away some nice clouds with those early lower-temp draws.
Hope some of this is helpful. I think you'll feel better about this after some time with Pax 2. Do I sound like a salesperson here? sorry...
p.s. I also use Crafty, and also like it's vapes more than Pax 2. Pax 2 has lots of other good things going for it though - battery life not the least among these. It's there waiting when Crafty runs down!
