Just a joke :) if you read the previous pages you'll see that both units are the same.

Dabado was lying on their site, claiming they have been working on the device for 2 years and such. Since then several other companies have come out with their own branded versions as well, all made by g9.
I do not know who created this device. It could've been designed by Dabado for all I know and China did it's predictable launch of knockoff/counterfeits. If you have evidence to the contrary, I'm sure we would all love to hear it. In the meantime, please refrain from calling the company "liars". Any further posts along this vein without supporting proof will bring warning points, so I suggest you heed my advice.

This is not a case of a Chinese company ripping off another company and I think we are setting a dangerous precedent here by not acknowledging that.

Please search for yourselves. The domain
Dabadovaporizers.com is 12 days old despite how long they claim they have been working on it and has "very low credibility" according to a variety of domain websites. They basically bought the site and immediately started selling. Anybody with a business knows the name always comes first. For them to have been working on it for 2 years and wait till the day of to come up with a name and buy the site is a HUGE RED FLAG.

G9 debuted this concept months ago and it was DIFFERENT. They recently released the version 2 and that is the one Dabado will be selling (as well as at least 3 other private label companies, all announced within the last 2 weeks) To me that's like Microsoft selling a ps2 and claiming they originated the playstation, when they didn't even make or sell the ps1.

I respect this community wholeheartedly and because of that, I think it would be a mistake not acknowledge what appears to be some incredibly deceptive marketing.

TLDR: Dabado bought their domain 12 days ago

So when a domain name is bought proves what? Only deceptive marketing is @abo27495 and how much he or she is being paid to trash US companies with no defined proof other than when a domain name was bought.

Look, you may be correct, I don't know. My point was that the way you went about making your point breaks FCs "Be Nice" rule. Instead of calling them "liars", you would've been better served by saying "I have serious doubts about the credibility of their claims".

Leave the name calling to professionals like Trump.

Well said. I will be nicer.

@smutman i encourage you to invite the owners of Dabado on here to explain the situation and why they waited 1 year and 353 days to name their product and find a website.

I'm simply advising to go the source instead of paying extra for a brand--thats the opposite of marketing.

There are also quite a few companies that give me discounted or free products for honest feedback. G9 is NOT one of them.

I'm not doing anything because I'm not accusing someone of stealing with no proof like you @abo27495. How about you produce proof instead of trashing a company without any proof? You're the one being told by admin to stop spewing your lies and produce proof or play nicer. So either please be quiet or produce proof. I think you are a G9 employee or paid by G9 to help destroy Dabado and other competition to help sell more. Produce proof is all you have to do.

I now have a H-Enail and have bought the Dabado's version and will compare the two. So far I have used the H-Enail a few times and it's pretty decent. I like how light and easy it is to handle. It doesn't lean with the glass piece on and sits very stable. It took about 4 hours to charge. It is very very very low maintenance to use and clean. It does have a good taste to it. You can't dab very much with this like you can with a Smart Dabb or Galaxy Enail but it gets the job done. I do not like the carb cap. The dabber and carb cap being able to separate via magnets is very annoying. I also wish the glass piece sat different to where the mouthpiece sits more at a angle instead of having to sit or stand above it to hit it. I don't like that with the H-Enail you will have to send you vape back to China and wait possibly weeks to get a replacement (not to mention the shipping you'll have to pay to send it back). I assume this because there is no website to do buy or learn more about the H-Enail (I bought mine off ebay because you can't buy these anywhere in the US or online except for Chinese websites) so I'd assume you would have to go through Greenlight's website to do exchanges, replacements, etc which means back to China to get your vape. I do know Dabado and Dr Dabber are located in the US and have a good website so I think if you have any issues it would be easier to do exchanges or replacements with them but we shall see when their version of this is released.

You're the one being told by admin to stop spewing your lies and produce proof or play nicer.

Did you read the entire post from @Stu or just the part that suited you? He didn't accuse @abo27495 of lying, that's your own incorrect conclusion. It's against our rules to accuse other members of lying just as much as it is to accuse a company. If you want to debate, you have to show respect for your opposition. We don't care what you think of others but we care a lot about what you post about them. Any further disrespect (from anyone) gets a warning point.

Uh duh it is lying when you say one company stole and he said "they're LYING on their site (talking about Dabado's website) so I think I was well within everything I posted and so I'm not accusing anyone of anything.

Its the same version. I wouldn't support these guys as their website is full of lies. I have no problem with them reselling the unit as their own, but they claim to have invented it after 2 years of hard work. Kinda scumny

@abo27495 said Dabado is lying. All I did was ask him to produce proof. I geuss @pakalolo didn't read that part huh?

First:
  • Public discussions of staff decisions are not permitted on the site. If you have any concerns or queries relating to a staff decision please take it up in private with a staff member.
I don't appreciate the sarcasm of "Uh duh" either. I asked everyone to show respect and you manage to break two rules in your next post.

Second, you completely miss the point. The accuracy of the accusation is not the issue, it's the respect we ask you to show. Welcome to your new warning point.

This was edited in while I was composing my reply. I just want to point out that I most certainly did read that, and also the moderator response that dealt with it, so conspicuously absent here.

Let us know if the Dabado is in fact the same product. I'm sure dealing with china direct isn't that bad. Plus it seems pretty well built. By the way didn't you buy it off Dealz4asteal on Ebay? He said that Greenlight's Warranty service is actually in California and he will handle any warranty issues for us. I bought 2 off him myself. I like mine, it hits better than any of my vape pens and actually tastes like a DAB!
I might stil give the vapecode TN-01 a shot too I would just need to buy a very small oil rig to throw it on I suppose.

@mrbonsai420 I was thinking of getting a TN-01 (perhaps still will).

This: https://instagram.com/p/9EAIJ5rqk0/?taken-by=liquidglassarts looks like one hell of a travel recycler.

I have an hour-glass recycler from this blower, and it is off the hook.
That looks awesome, but I will definitely be using the HE Nail in those situations. Assuming I like it, I would probably travel with the vapecode and use it on my regular rig, but the convenience factor of the henail is off the charts.

I'm still loving mine! not a big learning curve on this one if you just use one heating cycle. I have been playing with partially going through a second heating cycle for larger dabs although I don't think it's necessary. I'll try to do some temp readings soon and report back.

It looks like the Dr. Dabber branded model will retail for $199 and the Greenlight vapes went up to $179 retail although you can get them on ebay for $135 still. Dabado is asking $149. I'm sure we will see several more around the $150 price point pop up in November as well.

I honestly don't think it matters which one you get since they are all the same. I definitely wouldn't pay the extra $65 for a Dr. Dabber sticker or even $15 for a "Bolt" sticker. All should be warranty returnable to the US as well. Or at least the Chinese Greenlight model is so I'm sure the others will be. Just find the cheapest price on this unit, brand doesn't matter. But if you use concentrates I would definitely add it to the rotation. It has filled a need for travel dabbing (not pen vapes) I had for sure!!

Cool, Do you get good rips off of the donut atomizer? I was thinking of trying one of those instead of getting new Ti coils for my pen. Unfortunately I will need a low Ohm VW battery to use it with as well.

I do like it. Taste is pretty good when clean. It's no nail dab, but it has been far better than any coil atty I have ever tried. I have been using the istick 40w tc with dv2.5 since July, and the $55 all in cost on the setup is great.

I can't do torches (wifey doesn't like torch), don't want an full rig and enail, and I am always looking for something more dab like-yet portable.

Funny! I just had this argument last night about my Enail and rig always on the table LOL. At least I got rid of the torch, it was a bit loud and dangerous for her, I love my dabs though.

Sapphire Powered Dabstronaut.
Received my H-Enail (GreenLight Vapes branded) today and am rather impressed.

Super small; main unit is ~6" tall and less than 1" in diameter.
Heavy for it's size.
Took about four hours to charge.
Magnetic base is tight and heavy.
The magnet in the carb-cap is surprisingly strong (I was worried about that).

I've only taken two hits of off it so far @ the lowest temp setting: a small dab of shatter and a small dab of wax.
Taste was good.
Surprising so; I'm familiar with the flavors of both of these concentrates as I've had a bit of each for awhile now.

No vapor trails, but there was a little burn off from the first hit when heating the for the second.
(Does that make any sense?).

Not as good as my prime driver.
But that is a SiC dish (+Sapphire sometimes) with more controllable temperature regulation.
Not to mention the LGA Mini Hourglass Recycler that is my home piece of glass.
Tough to beat that set-up.

But for a portable, the H-Enail has mega-promise.
I currently use a Nectar Collector when away from home.
I need more comparision between the NC and the H-Enail to see which provides better hits.
But the H-Enail clearly wins for portability and versatility; no torch.
The H-Enail also kicks-ass over any pen I have used (I have an OrbV3 with dual quartz and quartz halo atomizers; best pen I have found).

I am a skier.
It's what I do.

I am also a vaper.
It's also what I do.

I bought this primarily for use while skiing (or camping, or whatever).
For easy storage one can take the glass piece and put it on the heating unit upside down; thus making the whole unit small enough to be comfortably be kept in one's jacket pocket.
Don't fall.

I'm thinking about contacting Oregonglassblower to get a custom attachment that will allow for dry hitting with a whip connection for safety's sake.
Plus that would be easier to hit when on the ski-lift.

Anyway, I think this was worthy addition to the vaping quiver and will update when I have more data.

:D

Edit: How do you get the water out? Evaporation?!?
Definitely not easy to spill, so that's good.

3 clicks to turn on/off

to get the water out blow through the boughpiece and then empty out the bottom chamber. Im assuming its made that way to prevent spilling onto the coil.

Where to order?

Looks like the ebay sellers all sold out, I tried to order 2 more for friends but they were gone quickly!

I ordered some from China and got 3 extras. They are the newest version w/2500mah battery also. PM me if you want one of these. or you can find them on DH Gate, but most are the older version so be careful when ordering. All of the others won't be out for a few more weeks.

ReEdit: How do you turn the damn thing off?

So, I tilt it slightly towards the opening and blow in it to remove the water. seems to get all but a drop out easily. And it's 3 clicks to turn it off too, just like turning it on or it will auto shut off after each cycle.

@smutman What do you put the vapecode on when using it for travel?

Just got my tn-01 in today. Ive only used it a few times but so far im blown away by the performance. Amazingly simple to use and very tasty. Its about twice as much as the he nail, but performance is definitely better.

Its not as convenient to travel with as the he nail and its too expensive (for me) to be a beater, so im keeping my he nail for sure. But head to head performance, there is no comparison.

@abo27495 How does the TN-01 stack up against your regular home nail set-up?

Thanks.
3 clicks on / 3 clicks off.
The instructions say to do 3 clicks to get to the next temperature level.
Does one have to time said clicks properly to get the next temp level?
Because the few times I've tried to get it to bump up the temp I end up turning the unit off.
:(
