Hello everyone, this is my first thread so sorry if I make any mistakes.

A little background story in order to narrow the possibilities. I will try to keep it as simple as possible.

I have smoked tobacco for 4 years now and I've stopped for a month now without a problem, always got my mind straighten up when it was the time to quit.
I suffer from anxiety and mild depression for about 7 years but never cared much about it because video-games were my "drugs" to distract from reality. But now it's time to face life and I've spoken to my psychologist and I'd rather go with aromatherapy than normal "happy" pills.
One week ago I bought from vaposhop.com (europe vape shop) a Hybrid Flowermate X but it really didn't turned out how I was expecting. I bought an hybrid model so I could try all types and even mix CBD in my E-juice, which I didn't do because it's expensive.
I tried vaping Lavander, Passion Flower, Hops, Camomile, Peppermint, Valerian and only got the taste, little to no vapor and the calming effects I didn't notice. I researched the best ways to get more vapor and I did everything I could (grinder, slow steady draw, correct temperatures, not over-filling, packing tight but not too tight). So now I'm returning the item to the store.

What I need help with:

I need a replacement vaporizer, portable one, with big battery life, and decent amount of storage to place in the herbs, and most important able to produce real vapor, and I'm not expecting the vapor from e-cigs, but some that tells me the herb chemics are coming in.
I prefer dry herbs as I have more options, but the capability to heat oils as well is welcome.
My budget would go to 200 euros if It's real worth it.
Temperature should be regulated as different herbs have different characteristics.

Too long didn't read: Need a vape that I can drag time to time to calm down.

While vaporizers can vape most dry herbs, don't expect big blooms of vapor from most these herbs. So far for me and for most around here only cannabis can produce nice clouds of vapor and have such great taste and effects. If you are going for other herbals you will have to settle with mostly taste and barely visible vapor. Maybe it's better to start drinking teas with them...

Food luck buddy! :)

Assuming you still want to get one, are you trying to buy one that has a place for storing herbs built in? Probably the Haze would work but only by bringing a second battery and filling up a few extra trays. Otherwise you have only 2 trays ready to go. Still I think it's the only vape with 2 trays. The battery does last for quite a while- at least compared to the milaana which is what I use. You could also bypass the batteries altogether by getting a vapcap. Since you've been smoking until recently a butane lighter might be just as simple. You could try the base model which is less than $50.

I don't how there are recipes for a session, for instant, davinci brand has http://www.davincivaporizer.com/news/top-4-herbal-recipes-for-your-vaporizer/ while their herb chamber can only hold 0.2grams of herbs and mostly from what I've viewed care around 0.2 and 0.3g... I'm confused at the moment, are vaporizes something for me then? Or should I just go for something like this: https://www.zamnesia.com/cbd-vaporizer/3909-kanavape-starter-kit.html ?
Thanks for the help

There can be recipes for all kinds of things out there buddy... I already told you my opinion. If it's clouds you want you are looking the wrong way. If it's effects you might probably get them... But I would go with making a tea for effects. Vapor from most herbal except cannabis is not quite satisfactory. And as you said CBD extracts which would give you clouds are expensive. Why don't you try cannabis flowers?

In my zone I can buy "weed", which I don't really know if it's cannabis or marijuana, and I tend to avoid those because of the THC long term effects, plus every time I take a draw I don't to become/stay high.

I know there's a specie of cannabis Sativa I think, which has the lower % of THC but in my zone, like I said it's very generalized as just weed, so I was looking for pure CBD oils, extracts or or other legal dry herbs like Kava Kava to have the same calming effects of the cannabis without becoming high.

For less than your 200 euro budget you could buy a boundless CFX or Boundless Hybrid.

Check out the boundless thread and the youtube videos for more information.

mulungu is another one that can be made into a tea for anxiety, widely used in brazil supposedly. helped at least some with my anxiety. also had the really cool effect of making it feel like you were under a heavy blanket.

edit: maybe not as strong as kava, but much better tasting

Basically I'm looking for something I can use 90% of the times for anxiety purposes (calming down, relaxing ects) and 10% of the time recreational (getting high, have some fun laughing ects). The more I read the less sure what's best for this.

IMO vaped weed is often good for anxiety, other available non-vaped substances people mentioned are good for anxiety.

BUT, if you're going for things like lavender, I'd look at essential oils instead of just vaping lavender leaves. The essential oil is the concentrated bit you want. I think those work better than trying to vape lavender. I just think there's little experience on that here. vapes in general TONS of advice, but your particular question is trickier than most which vape to buy questions IMO

Edit:
I thought the Boundless CFX was a decent recommendation, I'd add the mighty, just because i think it is a longer session bigger hit portable, i don't actually own one because i think it is designed to go thru larger amounts of material in one session than i want. but that may be what you are looking for with the lavender and such

Thanks for the response, lately, I've been thinking weather essential oils weren't better for this than pure dry herbs, or just have a E-cig filled with CBD oil..
What is your opinion on this?

Weed is cannabis is marijuana. It's all the same!

What long term effects do you speak of?

I don't have much personal knowledge of them, although I did just get two Aromatherapy books by a guy named Kurt Schnaubelt, but haven't read them yet... supposed to be really science-y look at Aromatherapy. But whatever plant you can find leaves from to vape, it's probably already available in concentrated form as an essential oil. The Kurt Schnaubelt books also talk about taking some of the oils internally even, as they do in europe apparently.

I haven't tried the CBD oil myself yet, but may be worth a shot. One poster mentioned pure CBD crystals too as something to look into, when i saw mentions of CBD oil previously.

Dorment, unresponsive to life, "dumber" as it kills brain cells.

thc does not actually kill brain cells... although anti-cannabis propaganda may claim such at times. Strains vary widely in effects, there are *some* that do make me feel 'dumb', I don't generally buy those kinds, but buying off the street your options are much more limited. It is difficulted to use it medically when you don't have access to specific strains for specific medical purposes (as an alternative to a guy who just has whatever kind he has that day).

From reading this my conclusion is that you really need some good bud but you don't wanna break the law or risk your money which I understand to a degree, you mention you can get "weed" and you don't know if it's cannabis or marijuana, they are both the same and your not gonna know what's available in your area if you don't try. Your looking at devices that I'm sure can vape kava or chamomile fine but they are designed for use with cannabis. The calming anxiety affexts your looking for can come from CBD.. but not very quickly or noticeably.

I mean it's not like your gonna take a few puffs from a legal hemp derived CBD pen and get a relaxed feeling that melts away your anxiety.. at the most it's an over time affect that helps you as the levels of CBD in your body goes up. The legal CBD comes in very small doses compared to the whole plant CBD extracts you can get in medical and legal areas.

Honestly dude go and get some "weed" and see how it works for ya. I've had anxiety and panic disorder since I was very young, I take multiple medications but cannabis is the only one I have taken non stop for over 5 years, shit it's been more like 10 now lol but it's the only substance that actually helps my symptoms with no side effects or any real downsides.. that is worth the risk for me. Cannabis is a magical plant that is really one of the safest medicines in the world, especially when vaporized

Good luck man, go get some tree and stay vaped :peace::leaf:

Edit: whoa man do some research.. cannabis does not kill brain cells lol. I'm not sure what your eduction is on the subject but a few states here in the U.S. Just legalized it and they have info about safety and effects on the state websites, don't ignore something that could really help you because ronald Reagan paid people to say it kills brain cells back in the 80s lol. There is plenty of up to date and reliable research that proves that cannabis is very safe.

Thanks for answering my thread, I've been wondering and maybe I will get relaxed with those herb mixes and local weed, or essential oils. I think I will buy a boundless cfx for this matter what do you think? And what type of grinding is the best for this?

A boundless CFx will do you find, tho if you can do a plug in I reccomend that for your first vape, if not check out the weeke fenix. It is $75 dollars with an FC discount and it works just as well as the cfx IME. It even compares to the mighty and beats it in flavor but that's just my opinion. For desktops check out e nano, underdog. Log vapes are a great way to start vaping , that's how I did it haha. Good luck man.
Peace :peace:

You may want to look at a pax2. Great battery life, solid vape and company. But it is a session (conduction) vape. And it had a recent price drop with the almost out pax3.

The pax3, on paper, seems like a big improvement over the pax2. And it's designed for flowers and concentrates. We don't have reviews yet, and my experience/belief is that a vape usually excels with one form of material, not all. Although I have high hopes for the pax3, you may want to consider having separate devices for your different materials.

Dyna VapCap Omni, degummed hemp fiber sandwiched between "CCD" snowflake screens, fat mouthpiece, and a water-tool. Micro-dosing is the easiest on your throat. Try it, you'll like it. Doc
