I checked through their Instagram and read the comments on the recent MiVape posts. People asked when they could get one and the owner of the account responded August. So as sad as that is, we at least have a date to hope for!
It's definitely not in stock and that's an old picture before it was redesigned.
yes it's sad, the original release date was August two years ago. But it clearly wasn't ready and needed to be redesigned and tested. They ran out of funds for R&D most likely and got bought out by a major company and completely redesigned the Mivape from the ground up in about a years time...
As long as there are no major issues when it's released Im actually quite pleased. I'd much rather have a well thought out well tested unit that works as advertised then constantly having to send back or deal with issues and come up with solutions (ascent)
And this is all glass btw no ceramic lined chamber etc
I believe it's in production as we speak should be a few weeks away they're teasing a bunch on fb/twitter/Instagram and they went quiet on the Mivape for a little stretch so I'm taking that as a good sign
Not sure whether that's sarcasm or not, but first Vaporfection took money from customers for pre-orders and then when that ran out, they scrambled for a while before they found an angel investor. Apparently that still wasn't enough to get this thing past the demo stage. I doubt that they could raise anything through crowdfunding because the people who are out their $240 (with discount) or $300 would almost certainly be all over that campaign with descriptions of how they have been waiting since 2011. Some people did get their money back eventually.

So, according to their Instagram it's going to be Christmas at the latest. I don't know if I trust it becuse they have not been accurent on their before, however it Is at least a date. And that's something. I recommend checking out their social networks for pictures and other things. If you read the comments sometimes they awnser people. Their Instagram is "vaporfection" it you want to check it out. I hope all this time means their working hard to make a dope product. My solo could use a partner in crime.

There already was a pre-order for this device—three years ago! You had to pay up front and as far as I know, there are people who are still out the money. To Vaporfection's credit, when they ran out of cash they didn't just disappear. Some people asked for their money back and eventually got it. Although I think they are sincerely determined to get this thing on the market, I would not be interested in ordering a miVape until at least some of these people have one in their hands.
