That video was about as useful as boobs on a nun. All it was was a silent video of the vape at different angles with catch phrases popping up on the screen.

Really didn't give me any real information I didn't know already or a new view I haven't seen. They don't really do much to sell it to us beyond hype.


After all the Garbage they put us through with the release of this you would think they would try a little harder to get us to look past that bullshit and maybe give it a second look now.

As nice and interesting as it looks, I'm not sold one bit until I see proof of life and reviews from PAYING customers.

The ascent was great until the release and people actually were able to compare item and performace to price.

And what is the expected price again???

I like the video, i just wish it was of an actual unit! Cant tell by the CGI pics most ive seen so far it still looks big and bulky like the prototype from two years ago.

Even if it is that big though, it still looks awesome, love the easy to replace battery, wondering if its still 4-5 hrs of use like they intended. Im assuming itll be shorter but who knows.

And 3 year warranty is a amazing considering most others are only 1-2 years and it theyre longer they usually dont transfer. Plus the 24 hr replacement option for $90 is totally worth it and unbeatable.

As for price, it was originally $299. Im not sure if thats still the pricepoint but if it is im in... Even though its not out yet, comparing it to davinci is unfair. They use cheap parts, manufactured in china and still have bad QC. They had major issues with their first unit and it seems the same is true with the mivape.

Comparing it to any vape at this point is not fair because its not out and who knows if it will even come out this time(although i hope it does) but at this point its all guessing.

I think its weird that its debuting at champs yet they wont give word of a release date or price point. Also no real pics of a unit, just a pic of them at their booth and on the table theres a vivape on a stand and next to it their is another stand with just a mivape box. People were supposed to be able to hold, feel, and test actual units.so im really skeptical i wish they were allowed to post here or someone at champs could chime in

When they won for the vivape it had a similar ribbon but on the bottom of it, it said at what show they won (i forget now) so I think its more of a statement by them than an award. Shady that its on a ribbon though.

They also say its the first glass on glass portable vaporizer, which da vinci clearly beat them to, even though that has not gone well either

Mivape will have to work really hard to pull their name out of the ABV'd pile. Not sure anyone trusts anything they say. Self awarding their new vape before 1 customer has had a chance to use it is the most pretentious bullshit I've ever seen. Whoever runs this company is way too stoned and should jump back into reality

They have probably one of if not the best customer service departments of any vaporizer company ive ever dealt with.

Not only that, but the vivape and their previous offerings have proven to be worthy.

They missed their launches over and over, but have others. Look at how the cloud originally launched. Yes it was a start up but same idea. The mivape clearly wasnt ready two years ago. Id much rather have them work out the kinks than have to pay to basically beta test like pretty much every vaporizer launch goes through.

I trust the vaporfection a lot more than i do davinci which seems to be the main competition. So assuming the launch actually happens by the summer ill easily buy one without hesitating than take a risk on the ascent or anything else

Personally, I think it looks ridiculous. At the rate they are going, by the time it hits market, it will be outdated. Guess only time will tell...

I dont know how itll be outdated or how it looks ridiculous? It looks a lot better then the old prototype they had and it seems like this one actually works.

Also im not sure how its going to be outdated. The only other all glass portable out is the ascent. I havent followed that thread in a while but id feel much safer buying something from vaporfection over davinci. And i dont see any other all glass portable vapes coming out anytime soon?

Yep, that's my opinion and I'm sticking to it.

I don't want a vape the size of a phone in my pocket. I already have a phone taking up enough space. As to outdated...they have been pitching the same unit for awhile. This industry moves pretty quickly when it comes to innovation.

As to feeling safe...not for me. After all their bull, I would rather spend my money elsewhere. But I look forward to your review when you pick one up.

Thanks, that one works. It doesn't look too bulky, but I'm not digging the changing colors. They're great on a desktop vaporizer, but portability usually requires more stealth. Hopefully that can be turned off.

It look cool like party mode on the Pax But your right. Doesn't add to stealth.

It look cool like party mode on the Pax But your right. Doesn't add to stealth.

Last time i checked they were considering getting rid of the blinking lights and/or having the option to turn it off...not sure if itll actually happen but we will see

I think it looks bulky from certain angles especially when its just a shot of the mivape. Doesnt look so bad when people are actually holding it. I have yet to see one in person though...

Theres a new video on their IG of dan testing it out. Looks exciting...i dont think its gonna be capable to handle oils but lets hope that changes, or maybe not if its not already there because no one wants more delays...

I dont think itll be out in may. Their last ad said coming in the summer. With their new corporate owners, lets hope this is the real release date finally?

From what I gathered the final prototype has been tested for about the last 4-5 months or so. It's made its way to all the big events. Didn't get to go to any unfortunately... I don't think it will be released tomorrow. I'm thinking sometime in the next 2-3 months....they're still not giving specifics (understandable given the past issues) I haven't talked to then in a while but I'll give dan a ring and see what's going on
