Hey everyone, first time on this particular thread. Got about 3/4 through and that was enough info to take the plunge. Full kit black from vapefiend.co.uk for £455(£10 off 420 code).. Transaction went without a single hitch. I ordered it too late in the day for it to ship same day.. Just.
So there I was this morning hoping with all the hopiest of hope I could muster that today would be the day.
I'd just finished a nightshift so I had a couple of hours to kill before the postman was due to come round my way.. So I hit my solo.. Not hard.. But enough to tide me over. Time slowed down! Dammit time! Why'd you have to go be such a relative lil muhfu*#uh huh?
Anyhow, there I am basically standing at my window a little later and I'm just pumping out these good vibes toward all things postman related(I even gave a little rendition of postman pat) and boom.. There he is! And is that a vaporizer shaped package in his hand? Shwiinnng!
Outside I go, sign his little device.. He nearly pulls back a stump! Haaha! At that moment I have a smile a mile wide, he doesn't smile back and now is lookin at me kinda funny.. Does he know?! Nah! That's just the solo hits talking.
In a flash I'm gone, it's a cold morning and I'm in nothin but my Thai shorts.. Ahh.. That funny look makes more sense to me now.
I'm so giddy at this point it bordering on ridiculousness haaha.. And it just builds and builds.. Santa never even made me feel this way.
Anyway, unpack the contents and woohoo, every single item is there that's supposed to be. Even got a couple extras from VF(I cheekily asked for some extras for my solo)
Set it all up and plug it all in. Heat to green, wire some herb into the basket(I call these vaskets) though funnily enough I don't call my bong a vong.
Already had a 18 to 14 reducer from using my PVGonG so was good to go from the off..
Wow! Just wow!.. One more time wow!.. Oh and Yumm! Finished two 1/3 loosely filled vaskets with some bone dry herb.. And could take no more.. I was fried.. And that taste. Wow! Now I usually get in and smash three or four PVGonGs worth through my solo in a session to get where I wanna be. The MV did it in less than half the herb and with 10x the taste. How is this even possible? Sorcery! It's the only answer haaha.
I was starting my work so needed to get some zzz and they sure came fast. Woke up six hours later still buzzing.. Was at work hours later and I'm still not baseline.
..I'll leave you with that just now.. I'll update after next session.
Also thanks to the FC users who contribute to all these threads.. Such a wealth of unselfish and freely given advice. Love all you dudes and dudettes.

What colour should the AC box indicator be during general powered use?
Mines is sometimes green, and sometimes red.. I've even had it change over mid rip.
I use it inverted on the nip via a watertool.
Next is the units lights..

By AC box indicator, do you mean the AC "puck" where it is powered directly from AC?
Rear unit light is battery charge indicator. Green when fully charged. Red when it needs a charge and I think they state 30 mins time left on red--on lowest temp level.

No not the puck itself, as there is no light on that.. But yeah, when that's in use. There's the battery indicator light.. What colour should this be when AC is being used to power the MV?
Also though the light that on the plug box charger/PA bitty.. When in AC mode what colours you got when?

I'm thinking I've experienced the power drop issue. Regardless of what colour light combinations I get in various instances it just seems to be the same slightly heated flavour coming through.

I almost quit vaping lately, but yesterday I wanted to try the new flexycone I was gifted with my new purchase of the AC adapter. So after a bad day, yesterday evening I decided it was time to be put to sleep by miniVAP.
I heard about units loosing power, pulling and pulling with no result. Nowadays my MV is just a friends amusement and I see the less dedicated so frustrated after pulling and pulling that I started to think my unit was in need of a reship for loosing its vaping power. Not so soon! Using the flexicone is gamechanging. There's not that sensation of "I'm pulling hard, but no vapor is produced". With the new improvement there are no juctions, no air loss, and for the first time I could decide to have a giant hit or a small one. Vapor is almost instant in your mouth. Yayaya
Now I'd like to be a good craftsman, go in the basement and switch my old internal battery with the new one the sent me too. Free of charge considering a 2 years long warranty.
For that, I think I'll have to wait some more time.
Flexicone is a big help to dose your hit, I hope they'll come up with smaller and bent one too, cause I like the original look.

miniVAP with Mobius Ion??
1. I just got a Mobius Ion Matrix and one thing seems odd, herb ended up IN the Mobius water. I am currently loading a small amount of herb into the small wire basket/placed into the silicon flexcone cap, connected with about 20" of tubing to the Mobius. After using, I checked the water and ...there is herb
floating. I check the wire basket and all the herb is gone, sucked into the Mobius. When I use the mV direct draw, I occasionally get a grain or two of herb in my mouth but the Mobius ended up with ALL the herb. Anybody else have this happen?
I guess I'll need to place a screen on top of my herb load. What size screen works in the little wire basket?
2. do you notice lesser flavor thru a small water device like I did? With a direct draw from the mV, I get a wonderful light airy lemon flavor on the low temp. Thru the water piece, it doesn't seem to be there. Is this what others are experiencing? The up side of water is that I don't get that dry lung feeling like with a direct draw.

My reckoning is that you always place one of the provided screens into the nipple(flexicone) followed by your filled to desired level basket.
Or for direct draw there's a screen already in the hard cone.
Shouldn't really be possible for any matter to get hoovered through it.

Thank you. I dug out my extra screens which I thought were just replacements for the miniVAP main chamber. Yes, they do snap right into the flexicone silicon cap, and the basket will also snap in!!!
I was looking for a screen to sit IN the basket, on top of the herb but this will work much better!

Just watch for sharp parts of the screens that sometimes get spikey.. They can damage the cone if you weren't at all careful.

Unrelated idea.. The cup basket from an Arizer EQ elbow.. If you remove the screen part you are left with a SS ring that may act as a retention piece placed into the nipple cone after the bare screen but before the basket. Just a thought. Should receive my replacement tomorrow via special delivery so will try this out.

Im not sure about the decarboxilation kit like to buy it, but what about the convection vs conduction if you put your herbs directly into the chamber?..... more nasty cough`s from to much temperature?
Otherwise the inside from the chamber will be stable to scratches and stuff... like wolverine,...
What do you guys think about the decarboxilation kit, is it worth ?
Also agree, very expensive...

You can do this. All you then have to do is hold the MiniVap over the basket:

Personally the second is my favorite because it is more hands-free.
In the end you will have to decide.

My experience thru a Mobius Ion Matrix Perc:
1. with the MFLB whip it works very well and my wife can easily do it.
The downside is that the flavor is lacking, especially the lowest temp light lemon delicious flavor that
one gets straight from the mVAP. Combination of the whip tubing and water diffusion I think.
2. just tried the other method, basket sitting right in the glass piece and invert the mVAP.
A good portion of the lemon taste on low heat is back!!! Diffusion must still take some flavor.
My wife is not comfortable with this method and that's fine.
You can really get some strong yet smooth vapor with this method!!!
Thanks again for sharing as both these methods have strong points, as does straight from the mVAP!!

I guess a bit of decarb and conduction in the mix might help with faster extraction...I personally think this is the only reason why the cloud gave me even bigger clouds, because there is more conduction going on through the glass....
If you can cash a load in one draw you'll also get the full flavor spectrum in that one hit. My guess is the decarb ring will help with that...seeing it is SS(?) it should not influence flavor in any profound way.

I can't see any interest to get 20 cones, I use the same since the first day, it's a bit yellow now but still functionnal and I have 2 spares and 2 flexicones, so it's enough for many years of vaping imo...

Two weeks with the minivap and having a great time! Thanks to the early and late contributors in this thread.
Here's a little mod to make the vapor cooler and have a portable whip vape
The silicone tubing which is attached to the "flexicone+" is from the venus vaporizer, but I suppose that one can get a hold of some matching silicone tubing online if in need. The "mouthpiece" is from an e-cig (kangertech protank 3 tip) and just there for the convenience not to put silicone in ones mouth. I don't expect it to have a significant influence on the vapor
This mod is easily attached and leaves room for personal preference, longer whip, cooler vapor.
ETA: No more coughing from hot air hitting the throat and no more burning your tongue, but still tasty, cloudy hits.

Hey guys, made and account to chat about the miniVAP, and kinda just to get in on the "breaking" news that unfolds on FC haha. I have the miniVAP latest rev, with a swagger double and a barefoot 2.0 which I use with the miniVAP(these are the water tools sold by wind for the Vapexhale).
So far, the unit has performed very good imo. Later, if anyone cares I can post a picture/video of the setup. I also have experimented a lot with the mflb whip adapter and soon I'm getting the vapor brothers h2O stopper which I'm assuming will hold the flexicone unplaced in the stem for manual contacting.
I'm very excited to see what's coming up for miniVAP now that their website has some updates. Cheers
