Thanks for your input,
@DrRishi . Put a screen in the cone of the whip-thing and pulled it through the lid. Seems to work as intended.
What about clouds though? I wouldn't categorize myself as strictly a cloud chaser, but I do like to feel something in the process of inhalation and exhalation.
There is literally one time where I busted a huge cloud, pretty much after my first couple of puffs on the MV, but haven't really been able to recreate that. Got some clouds that were a little more than the pax on green but most of the time I inhaled and indeed felt something hitting my tongue, and getting some taste of the flowers, but straight-up no vapor on exhalation - and I didn't hold my breath for 30secs or something like that, just a couple of seconds like I normally do.
For clarifications: I did pull on it for more than ten seconds, sometimes a couple of hits subsequently, in case the herb chamber needed heating or something, tried temperatures until green, no red yet as green should suffice for steady cloud production.
I also get a harsher (not negative IMO) feeling to the throat when pulling harder on the MV but not recreating the cloud I busted out after a couple of puffs in the beginning.
Any tricks to get some clouds?
I have a feeling that the LEDs, and subsequently the all the electronics, are behaving irregularly.
First, the temp light has stayed on green (previous chosen temp) when I started the MV, but didn't start blinking or anything, just stayed on constant green, as the battery did on the backside. Pressing any buttons didn't do anything and I had to unplug the battery to restart the MV.
Another note on another try: heated up the MV to green until it stopped blinking, took a couple of draws, no vapor, and the light started blinking again. Changing temperatures will restart the blinking as well, which makes sense when going up in temps but not really when going down... does it have a "cool-down" function that would let you know when you reached the lower temp again. Here's where a thicker user-manual could come in handy.
When doing the initial burn-off I noticed that the unit went the cool-down phase (Blue) after twenty minutes.
So to be honest, I am sort of in a delusion right now. Even though some posts ago I was told that it wouldn't burst out clouds like it would through a water tool (which is not used at the moment), I still expected it to outperform the PAX. ( i am only mentioning the pax because it is my only other vape for comparison)
If you've followed the venus vape thread in recent times you might have read my, so far, unfortunate experience with the venus. It gets good reviews and should outperform the pax as well, but my two units, original and replacement, were not producing anything at all, except spent AVB. Am I attracting faulty units and temporary missteps by small manufacturers or is there hope for me to get the learning curve of the MV in the near future?
