Hi Minivapsters,
Looking to join the club here, and was wondering on experiences regarding purchases from the manufacturer or other vendors. Any reason one should not buy from online vendors other than the manufacturers website?
I purchased directly from the manufacturer but I was very lucky they actually had everything in stock. I also needed to email them a couple of times to get things moving.Hi Minivapsters,

If you are in Europe the EHLE stuff is great. You can also order directly from the factory. Personally I prefer an 18mm joint as this gives the greatest airflow and flexibility. If you read back a few pages you should be able to find all the info. I went for the Alchemist because it is a relatively small bong that is not too sensitive to being knocked over.Does anyone know what kind of glassware you need exactly?
I've heard from people that those EHLE Bongs azarius.nl sells are great, but (as long as they've got a 14.5mm joint) are those the only things you need to vape through water with the miniVAP?

I do still vape directly but it does require a bit of technique. I let the vape hit the tip of my tongue so I can feel the temperature, then I can feel if it is "too" hot. This avoids some of the coughing attacks. It does make me cough but it is also temporary I.e. I cough like hell then it's over. With combustion I used to cough for hours after a big hit. I always vape on the green setting.
If you don't plan to use it through water you must to know it produces a very irritant vapor (I can't use it dry at higher level than pink) and since it's a pure convection vape you need to take very long draws, at least 10s, to start to get vapor. so without any watertool imo the MV will not a heavy hitter but if taste is all for you and you don't look for the clouds you can like it dry but if you expect to get clouds like in RogerD vids you need a watertool, if you can get this sort of clouds dry you got iron lungs!
Thanks, I live very close by the Azarius store, so that would be the best option for me.
But you say you prefer a 18mm joint, does the MV bowl fit in there as well?
I thought you needed a 14.5mm joint for it to fit.
EDIT: Actually, I have no idea how the MV bowl fits into the bongs, how would you do that so it sticks out and the minivap can be attached?
Nice people in the store but they do not have a great "vooraad". However they can order anything and get it pretty quick. They even have a minivap in the shop but they are asking silly money for it. Maybe you can convince them to sell it for a normal price.
I have a MFLB whip attachment. You can get them with 14 or 18 mm attachments. I have the 14mm and a 14/18 converter for my bong. If you get a 14 mm bong or and 18mm with a 14/18 converter you can hang the silicon cone directly in the bong and hold the minivap on that (see pictures earlier in thread).
Which way works best for you you will only discover by trying, but the experiments are a lot of fun!
Hah, yeah I saw that miniVAP they had there in the store. It was really overpriced. But I had an order of 2 months with an internet store for a normal price that finally got shipped today, so I wasn't planning on getting it from them in the first place .
But the method you are referring to is dont by connecting the minivap to the bong directly with a hose, right? I'm wondering what the pro's and cons are of doing it that way instead of holding the minivap to the bong directly.
Pic for clarification:
Correct me if I'm wrong but I have seen some videos of decent cloud production outdoors without water tool here: .....
That seems to be good enough for me.
But if you have any suggestions for a better dry-hitting portable I am all ears..
