yes better flavor with baskets than direct. I imagine this is because the herb is suspended and receives less conduction and even a bit further from the heating element
That is awesome info...Jorge is a truly nice person. It is a wonderful product that is certain. I wish more people would know about it. It has to be one of the top five vapes around. There are only a few good vapes for taste...that is certain. This is one for taste. I used the vape with the smaller piece...it is so much lighter...excellent for me. Thank you.@Dr. G
Weighed for the heckuva it.
Battery plus top module: 461 G
Battery 262 G
Top 198 G
Base puck 37 G
AC puck plus top module: 235 G
FYI, I would have guessed the AC puck unit weighed 1/3 or 1/4 of battery unit.
In real life feel, it is a featherweight.
And…. Much more compact and easier to handle…as long as you are aware of the cord.
Enjoy your new piece.
There are so many ways to use it.
Edit: weight issue.
Several years ago I suggested to Jorge to make a battery 1/3 of current size….since it has huge battery life now.
How many temperature settings does it have? My MV will often blink as I draw as it senses odd temperature. How full are you loading the bowl and with ground herb? Or are you using baskets?Hi everyone, this is my first post here so sorry if it’s not formatted right. I recently went on holiday to the Netherlands (from UK) and while there bought an arizer air and a minivap in Amsterdam. The first few times I used the minivap it took quite a long time to reach temp but the temperature light did eventually stop blinking. After the first couple of uses however I have noticed that no matter how long it’s left on for the temp light does not stop blinking. If I put my finger in the bowl I can feel that’s it hot in there but the light keeps blinking and not much vapour comes out even on red. I thought that the battery might be old and that might be the issue but the issue persists even when using the AC puck. Since I bought it abroad I’m not sure exactly what model it is or when it was manufactured. Has anyone else had this issue? I’m hoping there’s some kind of quick fix so I don’t have to send it back. Thanks all.
It’s the four temp model not the seven. I use baskets but have tried a direct pack, didn’t make that much difference. I don’t know if the temp sensor has an issue but it’ll just keep blinking no matter how long I leave it. I have sent them a message but they’re on holiday at the moment I think. How many temperature settings does it have? My MV will often blink as I draw as it senses odd temperature. I recommend contacting CS for MiniVap - they're always been very helpful to me
The whole core unit must feel hot, not just the bowl. Does your unit feel hot after 10 minutes off warming up?. I've not used small basket or small loads, though I think they'd work just fine.Is the teflon core a really on demand vape, I mean no cook between hits?
I read that the teflon core is known to being one of the best vape for taste and vapor quality in general so, when the flavor shines and when significantly decrease with the small and the bigger basket screen? I mean how many hits in general, but I know there are lot of variables, or in which phase of a bowl (half, beginning, etc.)
How does it behave for micro dosing?
The unit should reach a point when the light stops blinking, so that seems to be a problem. It’s the four temp model not the seven. interesting ideaHace varios años le sugerí a Jorge que hiciera una batería de 1/3 del tamaño actual... ya que ahora tiene una batería de gran duración.
BEASTGlass QC...

You got pics?Nice! Always hitting mine dry with a bb9 attached with a dynavap condenser connection nowadays. Not the best look but flavor and fluffy clouds for sure! Love the low maintenance and simplicity of loading and dumping.
but wait, there are FC shirts out there? Who does one have to bribe for one of these?
I'd wear one to start conversations with burners and find fellow connoisseurs in the wild
