Hey again,

Is it expected for Minivap to do a Halloween sale and what % off do they usually do as i am considering getting this vape. Also I wanted to ask if anyone has had any issues like combustion with smoking on Red level as the temperature seems too high to me.

Thanx

Hi,
I’ve bought my first one during last Halloween sale 😆 and i’ve never combusted on red (dry or through water) 👍
Ps : that was 30% off on pre-2020 LE kit.

I recently got a glass-core Minivap with the new 7 temperatures and the long silicone mouthpiece. Wow this unit is a session monster! I see it like a Plenty but actually usable! And with this unit I can get full convection vaping using the baskets or hybrid vaping using the oven. I like that both options do a great job extracting up to the latests bits of the herb.

Taste and vapor density are top notch compared to all my other session vapes, and I love how long battery lasts. I can be 2 full movies in the sofa sipping through this thing and there is still some remaining energy.

There are a few thinks I didn´t like, of course: The initial factory smell is very powerful, this unit needed some serious burnoffs. Extensive use of silicone in the airpath is also a dislike, but its good quality silicone, and does a great job cooling vapor. The form factor makes it prone to tipping and falling and the interface is simple but not so intuitive. Also it is too easy to push a button when inhaling.

I will post a full fledged review in a few days, with photos of some crazy experiments i have made (well not so crazy, mostly using wpas and forcing negative pressure in the chamber) But for now this unit lives up to its legend, and it is impressive that the basic design has 11 years!! (The core i am using is new tech but anyways its impressive)

Thank you all for the info, you made me make a very good acquisition!!

I expect my MInivap any minute now. Thanx for the extensive burnoff tip. About your opinion on silicone, do you mean the silicone whip that they provide? I have a Herborizer which has glass stem by default and I got a silicone whip which kinda makes the flavour worse when used but it is a great utility for couchlocked use

It's me again,

I am delighted by the results of the Minivap. Only 1 thing bothers me. According to their site the color temps should be Blue/White/Pink/Yellow/Green/Orange/Red but I have Blue/White/Pink/Teal/Green/Yellow/Red. Is there something I have missed or ?

Wpa is water pipe adapter, thats the only accesory i think is necesarry, except for extra flexicones.
I have a bong-vape so my idea was to get a easier to use dry vape as the firefly is kind of a high maintenance. I like some J hooks but I guess I have to buy their 10 to 14mm glass adapter first. I kinda regret not getting it at 1st.... would you recommend getting a replacement OG straw just in case?

I also got 2 mesh screens in the kit, one very thing and one standart. What are they for?

I believe the mesh screens are replacement screens for the bottom of the vape, but im not 100% positive. I wouldnt get a second straw, as i think using the 14mm adapter to connect to a j-hook is the best way to use the minivap. Its excellent through a water piece as well, particularly on teal and above, so i think having a wpa is an absolute must.

Have you plugged and powered on the charger without the battery so the green lights on the power pack ? Then add battery to charger ?

yep! power pack is green before even adding extra cable or battery, was thinking it might be the cable that was bad becasue i cant get the corded little puck situation to work either, but i can get charge on the stand if i apply the pressure

The first time i had my MV, i didn’t turn the battery enough (that was a bit hard and i didn’t want to over- twist it) and so my unit didn’t work . I contacted Jorge from MV and he gave me the information to twist the battery harder and voilà, a fonctionning Minivap 👍.
Here is my novice mistake with my MV. (Easily solved)

you just clutched it, obviously i'm still not able to charge the battery unit but I guess when I tried to use the little puck I did not turn far enough! so I am literally heating up right now for a sesh! thanks homie

I will say two things:

-Jorge is crushing this customer service

-This thing absolutely rips, with the help of Vizy and some actual reading comprehension (the buckets work infinitely better when you put it in the silicone lid situation obviously lol) I am really enjoying this vape.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day!!!

Currently, all my faves and most used vapes are from outside the States.

Herborizer, Vapbong, Minivap, Volcano Hybrid, TinyMight, P80, Mighty, just off the top of my head. Europeans have been CRUSHING IT the whole time! My thanks!!
I have a Herborizer, newly orderred Glass Core Minivap and a Firefly that is going to totally break any time now.
The minivap for sure has the most efficient extraction from the above but in regards to taste i prefer the Herborizer or Firefly so I was thinking about buying a PEEK core to replace my Firefly as people recommend it for its amazing taste.
Could you compare the PEEK core to your Herborizer ?

@martatabs , I can comment on mV vs Firefly.
Most of my miniVAPs are Teflon core and I much prefer taste of mV over Firefly.

PEEK should yield better flavor for you.
I never saw need to go beyond Teflon and PEEK as they had superb flavor and never felt I needed bigger hits , never needed steel insert or glass core!
Flavor is subjective but never sampled a vape with better flavor than mV. Some possibly equal or almost equal…
