Ive had the 7 temp settings for a few months now, its pretty great.
Are you in close contact with MV cause I got the email only yesterday...? although I didn't gave a look at the website these past months.
Might be time for a core upgrade. I’m still running my og Teflon. It’s been on the shelf, as I like one hitters with my NV showerhead. I want to get back into temp stepping.
I emailed to ask the same but the option isn't available in the core update page... I hope it's possible cause the new 7 T° settings MV cost 450€ with convection/radiation core and 480€ with full convection core, both cores use glass and teflon. And cause I already own 2 MV (a single QGC and a portable Quick Peek Core, I'll update that one if possible!) and don't need a third one!

Lol no, they actually rolled it out for all new Limited Edition models in March but didnt actually tell anyone, and I discovered it back then by accident (I actually posted on here back then when it happened).

Did they ever resolve the software issue with yours? I'm assuming them advertising about it means they have.

I bought a Limited Edition during 4/20 sale thinking it included the seven temp settings only to find out it was limited to the Limited Edition 2020, so never got a chance to find out.

Got 2 units, using them exclusively at home. Nothing compares to the MV!
I am about to buy a glass core unit, what cores do you have and any preference? Any other "needed" accessories at first?

You can’t go wrong with either being fantastic.
I prefer the OG Teflon as flavor chaser and small doser here.

Note that there are dozens of ways to use it, so feel free to experiment.

I craft a paper filter to place in the Flexicone module upper, to catch all that nasty ABV dust that normally gets sucked along into your throat or water bubbler.
Made from T-sacs tea filters

Hah that's actually me... hey!

For confidentiality & respect and such I won't reveal much info but this:

The current MiniVap has a ~2100mAh cell or so. Battery tech has evolved quite a lot since the creation of the battery unit. This just shows the absolutely incredible thermal engineering and insulation that the MiniVap uses.

How about the main body? Well, they've also found a much smaller and equally efficient way to keep those thermal properties.

From what I know, it'll be quite a while before production units come around so for now we'll have to sit patiently :)

Hey Everyone,
I am considering getting a Minivap but i can't choose glas or teflon glass. The glass seems solid choice but I saw on the 7 temp core, the last temp is 250 C. Isn't thisn too much? Wouldn't there be a chance of combustion with such high temperature? Could anyone give feedback on the highest temp settings of the glass core

I much prefer Hermes' (the company that makes minivap) wpa to any third party option, of which I've tried a few. Its a pain in the ass to figure out how to attach the Hermes' wpa to the flexicone, but once you figure it out its not that much of a hassle really and it works way better than the other adapters imo. I also use my minivap with a j-hook 90% of the time, and with the hermes adapter the hook can just sit on top of the minivap for the whole session but with the silicon it gets all floppy and you have to take it off between each hit.
