I dose roughly the same amounts with my self made @Alan design clone 7/16” heater cover log.I read the diy misty vape thread and the HI thread to learn how. Always thought if someone mass produced logs in Asia or something retail price could be quite low. Was just looking at the vapman lotus website and thought those guys have the technology to mass produce logs…
The click is also a must have for me. By heating the cap in the upper/middle odr lower area I can best control the final heat, wihich is very important for me when microdosing (0,005g). I also really like to mix additional CBD flowers with Thc-containing ones.

4 beats is about 3.5 seconds for me.
I also really wonder what impact moisture levels play. I keep mine jarred with a 58% Boveda pack
Also, flame size is about 1 inch outer, .5 inch inner

Awesome! I'm gonna have to try this method, I've usually done 3 rounds of 2-3 seconds each. My herb's at 62 percent with packs--I bet that's a good part of it.

Check out the microdosing scoop @Delta3DStudios made for me! Its on the left. In the middle is the standard delta3d scoop for reference. i was always trying to eyeball fractions of the big scoop, this new one makes it super easy!

Well, with todays sale at inhale I pulled the trigger on a vapman and heating station. I figure I can't properly do microdosing reach tests without one of those within reach! As mentioned earlier in this thread I am looking to vape 10-20mg amounts and I have a question about that. I have never seen a vapman in person but i imagine the material needs to be in contact with the heating plate for the vapman to work right. But I see people holding the vapman horizontally while using. Should this work for the amounts I'm looking at or should i keep the vapman upright? I guess I am worried that with such small amounts if i hold it horizontally it wont work. What do you think?
You are overthinking it. There is like a mm of space between the bowl and the middle section. You'll see when you get the vapman. No need to worry prematurely.

Congrats on your purchase, you are gonna love it! Did you get a Click or a V2? The V2 should be perfectly simple, the Click will work fine but with a little fiddling to seat it well.

EDIT: I forgot to answer your question @coolbreeze. I got a v2. i wasn't sure that the click could handle the same small amounts and have been seeing reports of people having issues with their clicks. but the click is available in purpleheart so i did actually think about it a bit this morning! I do loves me my olivewood though.

My standard small dose is 0.025 g.. Used it every day for one month without any visible decrease in effect . (light MJ, think 10 - 15% THC).
When I increase the dose, weekends, holidays, or just like that I take breaks 3-5-7+ day if I want to get back to 0.025g. +"Sober October" and sometimes just a couple of weeks. But in general, I prefer 50 mg, it already allows to be high. LOL.
10-15 mg does not have a very good effect, I do not know how to say: I did a little negative feelings (This may be due to incomplete evaporation in the device (Glo), I'll try it with Mighty someday).
Jewelry scales 0.01g are absolutely necessary.
I tested microdosing with Mighty+ with a capsule. 30mg, 210℃. I put cotton wool* for Vape (for spiral POD systems) in the capsule, poured MJ and cotton wool* on top too (Storz & Bike recommend filling the capsule tightly, but how can you fill it tightly with so much without changing the volume?? LOL). The impact is very good.
* "cotton wool" wrong - right "linseed wool". ("Flax", "Linen" - What's the right thing?). Very clean, 100%. No aftertaste at these temperatures.
I use induction tobacco heating system "Glo Hyper+" for 3 years (price 2021 = from free on promotion to $5, now, 2025 = $7). T=240 ℃ / T turbo =260 ℃. In fact, it is a low-power conduction vaporizer. But the manufacturer (BAT) doesn't know about it
But the optimal amount for it is 50-100mg. If it's more, it starts to burn. If less, there is some decrease in efficiency.
A new model is on sale, "Glo Hyper Pro", (price 2025 = $14). According to reviews, it heats up more. I didn't buy it, and I don't know how it works with microdoses. I think it's better.

I wanted to give an update on this microdose scoop. With the material i currently have each scoop holds about 20mg, ranging from 15-30mg depending on how level it is. I like a 20-25mg dose so this scoop is spot on for me.

all my tools from him have a rough finish. I'd prefer smooth and shiny, but tbh I am surprised that nothing really sticks to it so functionally its kind of a nonissue

After a half decade in the dynaverse, I finally tried the dynacoil. It's absolutely fantastic for microdosing concentrates! Super flavorful, and works wonders with dabs the size of a large grain of salt.
It might just be the best concentrate microdoser I have now. I find that a lot of the products bemoaned by the average consumer chasing the biggest hits are often the best for microdosing. I feel similarly about the Puffco Plus.

Hi Microdosers! I wanted to share a desktop setup that i have been using lately for conduction signature microdoses. It is a 16mm wireless ball vape called the IO Hornet. It comes with its own conduction and convection bowls, but for me the star is that the ball head mates up with dynavap tips. I used a dynavap for years but had to stop because of the restriction the cap (and my packing style before i knew better) made my lungs hurt. I have tested this out with dv titanium tips with screens in the 1/2 and full bowl positions. For me it works best with a light convection style pack rather than the dv straw load style. The microdose scoop I designed holds about 25mg a scoop and one scoop in the half bowl and 2 scoops in the full bowl seem to work very well. I am currently running the head at 535 with a 16mm to 25mm sleeve adapter. I have a native 16mm coil on order and expect to drop the temperatures about 100F when it arrives for the same extraction. This system is capable of dv style extractions at 545F, burnt popcorn taste and all. But you can dial back the temperatures to tune the extraction to your preferences. For me 535F right now is a pretty dark extraction but with none of the bad taste at the end.
Here is a pic of my JoDa pipe with a DV ti tip on a cheapo wpa that i wish i bought more of:

In my gear explorations over the last year i have found myself trying to replicate my old dv extractions as a starting point. Depending on how you pack (convection style vs dv style) this is a higher airflow dynavap that clears whatever amount you load in a single pull and leaves the kind of clean bowl behind that I expect from ball vapes. My tolerance is up right now so i haven't tested with 12.5mg loads, just 25mg and 50mg. There should be plenty of thermal mass for the smaller amounts. For example, to use their 50-200mg conduction bowl with the diffuser side of the head requires temperatures 100F higher for a similar extraction. I will update some day with scale tests when my tolerance is back in balance (420 + my first banger ever made for a pretty ridiculous weekend!)

You nailed it with the temps. At 535 I'm getting all the flavor and a full extraction from one hit. This is the best heater for DVs for home use, no going back now!

The hornet rocks as a DV heater and has quickly positioned itself as my fav ball vape.
Through the glass stem bowl I am getting the best flavor hits I have ever had.
I got my kit with the 25mm adapter, and a nice discount using VgoodiEZ code. Just under $200 for the whole kit-n-caboodle.

Oh wonderful! I'm glad you are having a similar experience to me when i got mine and would love to hear how your explorations go! I suspect that I have been missing something from the dv signature. This year's explorations have largely been convection and I have been vaping a lot more than i used to. Now that the Hornet is in my toolbox I'm resetting my tolerance to 0 and starting the tolerance management experiments again. If you decide you want a smaller handle for it, i've found that the shovelhead handles with heater (not bowl) heatsinks are a great match.@Fearless Disaster
