I’m looking to try a Delta 8 product and after reading into some of the posts above I’m trying to find it in concentrate form such as wax, shatter, or crumble. I want to sandwich it with flower or dab it. Does anybody have a reputable source?
I finally received my order of exactly this after 'patiently' waiting for a bit over 3 weeks... and I'm very happy with it !
This is one of the products I purchased from Dr. Ganja, which is an awesome store! I love it so much, I feel like I haven't totally missed out on the new age movement of commercial cannabis because of their ballsy shipping efforts. I drove past a massive field of hemp the other day and just stared, often I drive past an enormous officially licensed hydroponic set-up that is literally installed in a detention camp, yet the plant is illegal here and penalised worse than many other more sinister crimes. Does my head in. As necessary, this 3CHI Δ8THC is the best alternate cannabinoid high I've ever gotten and I couldn't even list the amount I've tried. This stuff is very pleasant.
I am a couple of small dabs in and about to go back for some more, but so far it's extremely interesting, extremely similar but not exactly. This is something I have got a bunch of incoming, and am strongly considering obtaining a fairly good stock because this is seemingly too much of an imitation. I don't actually know what the legalities of having it here are , but all that aside, purely as a mixed molecule constituent rich sauce, this stuff is great to have easy access to.
Without barely any experience, it seems this stuff is not exactly the same as ordinary THC run-of-the-mill stuff, especially the initial reaction, although it's not much different just not as.. intense.. but the aftermath, the stone, is very much on par and as the sauce is so clear and seemingly potent, I foresee far less flower in my future. Compared to CBD Flower, the effect is substantial. Some of the CBD flowers out there have very good cannabinoid profiles and even some have delta 9 THC in minor but notable quantities. But this stuff is effectively the real deal, I suppose. Early days.
delta 8 infused flower does seem suss, yet it is essentially how I first sampled it, by scraping some of this sauce into the grasshopper sandwhiched between some sour blueberry kush (CBD buds). It worked pretty well, easier with the Dabmaster however.
As a crop yield, the amount of delta 8 obtained is marginal, so this stuff requires a lot of plant matter to extract. The sauce is 90+% delta 8 THC distillate mixed with terpenes extracted from various regular cannabis strains. Essentially it is pretty basic and it's extremely clear, viscous and aromatic.
Edit. So far it seems the different strains are fairly distinguishable in smell, overall the aroma is basically overwhelmingly strong, almost sickly sweet. The effect is quite impactful and a little goes a long way with this stuff! I have 7 pots of this concoction to deal with and I think it will hold up a long while.
It's definitely an ultimate fallback or alternate or additive option, but I guess it may not be as well rounded an experience as flower, with a very wirey 'sativa' buzz mixed with a strongly sedative indica headsqueeze. I tried CBD specifically because I heard it described as non-psychoactive, and thought that it must of course be psychoactive, and concluded that it was actually non-psychedelic. This stuff is very psychedelic, you can sense the strength of the antagonisation occuring at the CB1 & 2 sites. It is dissimilar to delta 9 indescribably, but perhaps equally as powerful or impactful. I get the sense that it is something to find a balance with, as it is doctored as a concoction the dosage is incompatible at a level, unlike the usual stuff - although I say that in ignorance of having any real experience with super tweaked high-potency extracts... but a green out seems less scary than a white out caused by some lab cooked up sauce. Definitely has the ability to quickly, or slowly but surely, become something to contend with in a pretty synthetic kind of mental way. Unfortunately I'll have to tap out after 3 of 4 flavours. The lemon gelato dab was double dipped and I almost regretted that.
Definitely take it slow with this stuff, it's nice at lower levels, and pretty potent. Fun stuff.
As you can see, the left (haze) is less saucy than the right (elektra).
