Not sure why it’s tagged to avb but it is in portable vaporizers forum, so it’s in right place. Why is this thread in the avb section? I am new here but i am wondering if this why this thread is so dead.

How is this vape working for you guys? I have really begun to enjoy it. Sold my Mighty after 5 years of use and picked this up. Only issue i have with it is flavor compared to Mighty. The silicone sleeve is a must have but it tends to move around a lot covering the intake holes or fall off from the top. I think i will start using it without.
I really love the flavor - agree with @Shit Snacks - flavor is far ahead of Crafty(Mighty).Ok cool i got ya.

Interesting... How fine a grind yall using?I really love the flavor - agree with @Shit Snacks - flavor is far ahead of Crafty(Mighty).
But I don’t use mine all that often. Only get a few good hits per session and have to draw very slowly.
It is the flavor that keeps it in my rotation.

I have had the best results with loading it very lightly, no packing at all. Any thoughts?
I will give the on demand style a shot. Thanks! Not very fine, more medium course bc of the screen holes on top and bottom, and good for its convection style (like Firefly). And yeah not packing it, only slightly to fill, usually full bowls.
I use my on demand style for long slow draws and thick tasty clouds on blue, shutting it off mid draw before it even vibrates/stops flashing. I get 4-8 hits probably, stepping up temps to finish after milking blue for the first half.
Sorry, I don't use the silicone sleeve either so can't help there, my on demand technique also helps keep things more comfortably cool.

But yeah @Stu what's with the avb tag?
You cant remove the quarts bucket. What i do is use a brush to clean out the bucket. I strongly recommend a storz bickel brush if you have one laying around. Then i blow into both side of the air intake. You will never get it totally clean but most of it will stay clean if you do it after every bowl. Also i have used a can of liquid oxygen to blow through the air intake. Make sure to use a iso soaked qtip at least ever charge to clean inside the quarts bucket.Hello everyone. I have a friend who recently purchased this vape and he has a question regarding cleaning of the oven. He noticed there appears to be some herb particulate matter that is trapped between the quartz chamber and the heating element underneath. Is there any way to clean that area - or remove the quartz bowl? Thank you for any help you can provide.

Thank you all for the suggestions. I’ll forward to my friend.
I was able to try out this vape a couple weeks ago (I currently have a dynavap m) and, although it hits no where near as hard, the flavor is truly pleasant. For most of the bowl.
I was impressed for what $90 US can buy.
I also must recommend my on demand style of use, you will get larger clouds quicker that still taste great. Feels like it could be as hard as a VapCap to me (though very different type of extraction, also amounts of herb ofcourse)
Double weave Ti would work well but I think some don't like the metallic 'taste' and prefer the glass only approach. What about putting a ultra fine steel mesh screen
The only problem with this is it will effect the taste. What about putting a ultra fine steel mesh screen at the bottom of the chamber? Use a size that won't fall out when you turn the unit upside down. I did this with my Fury 2 and never looked back.
Gotcha. Yeah, the F2 already has mediocre flavor with or without a screen. My theory was that the Eden is already so good on flavor that dropping a screen in it wouldn't affect it. I had a 1st generation Gaia....it required a screen over the load to prevent the mouthpiece from getting clogged. I also ran a screen under the load and I couldn't detect a change in flavor. The only problem with this is it will effect the taste.
For me, the taste is the ONLY thing that keeps the Eden in my rotation. Adding steel to the bottom would compromise the ceramic oven flavor, unlike the F2 stainless oven.
If ease of maintenance is more important than taste, than I agree, that is a great, simple solution.
Edit: oops, @LesPlenty beat me to the punch on flavor.
You are lucky, some people have very good taste buds that are averse to metal (not me luckily).I couldn't detect a change in flavor.
Anyone use the fine sifting disk for the Lift Innovations grinder? Would it be a good consistency to vape in the Eden?
