I had some success using mine with the m2m by packing the elbow screen and running my dial at around 12-12:30 , I grinded pretty fine also and got some huge clouds . I was using the Steven HT at the time but it just felt awkward holding my lsv with the ht upward and preferred milking my glass inverted. Is anyone using a hydrotube with their LSV?
If so, how can I milk it like the EVO.
I'm using an 18m2m and ELB. I also have arizer baskets. Any tips?
I agree with you there. Just nabbed an LSV from Randy at PIU last night, should be here in a couple of days- STOKED. What kinds of percs/ glass designs seem to work best with this (Direct me to the page if this has been discussed before- thanks).
I have used one with something as small as the MFLB Orbiter and something as large as an 18" straight tube bong. The LSV worked well (but differently) with both extremes so my advice is try it through whatever glass you have first. Many folks here seem to have working relationship with the D-020D or one of its kin http://www.dhgate.com/store/product/d020-bubbler-hand-blown-glass-vase-perc-water/175832535.html so you might start there.
PS: I would like to add, I am a taste guy and I like to dry stem my LSV at lower temps so you could look into that as well.
Definitely agree with that Howie, I appreciate it.Your choices look nice and I wish I could try them but alas I haven't so no comment. The ddave mods are indeed 18mm but I would suggest getting used to the unit first (consistent results) before starting with mods. Enjoy
Most of us had to remove the heater cover and slide the ceramic heater up.Just got this beauty in the mail from Randy at PUI... Can't beat 2 days free priority mail I tried searching the forums but didn't find anything regarding first use instructions. Did anyone have to rinse the transfer wand or anything for the first use? I am leaving it on high for about 4-5 minutes to burn off anything that may be there but was curious as to whether 1. this was answered, or 2. someone could provide some insight about this. Thanks
Thanks ASJ, I really don't wanna mess this up and end up damaging the heater element, is there any video or could you provide some sort of step by step instruction on how to raise the heater? I'm still not confident in how to do it.
Shows both the EVO and the LSV with it.Do you have any videos of the torus with it? It looks real solid, I was also thinking about the FC-187 by steven which looks awesome
This is is awesome. I can't find the link to whwre this is sold. Can anyone assist?Shows both the EVO and the LSV with it.

does look really cool!
Very much does look cool.does look really cool!
my lsv however is not able to rest upside down when on without turning really hot...

My lsv also cannot rest on the heater cover or it'll slide down. Not a stury enough shim
Well, mine can get hot too but I don't run it that long. I do my sesh and turn it down where it stays cool. 7th floor products warm up so fast it's nothing to turn it back up and take a hit. I did two ELBS with my LSV not getting hot. Leaving it sitting in any application, it will still get hot from the transfer.does look really cool!

My heater cover slides down as well and I like it. I slide it down and leave it there. The 18mm adapter sits further down so it's not as tall when using a water tool. Also, I don't have to run my LSV as hot to get the the vapor I want.Very much does look cool.
