i was brainstorming on a stand, I'm thinking something that would clip to the side of a table like this.

what do you guys think?

And considering that heat rises, do we want a stand where this happens when not in primary use?

I didn't think of that. thanks

Good start, but what holds the LSV from sliding down and resting on the temp knob?

A snug fit.

@lwien 's comment kills the whole upside down concept so i guess ill keep thinking about it.

anyone else have anything in mind?

Would you like to try one of my stands? I have tons laying around, brought them home from work. I'll send you a couple if you pay the shipping.

Here it is holding my 4 GonGs, I can't live w/o it now. On the left is where the LSV sits, on the right is a pocket for misc stuff, it can easily be cut off.

It even works well with the nano/solo.

I received my official 7th Floor WPA. :o
All I can say is wow. I am enjoying it. Barely covering the screen and getting nice clouds. Also filling it up full and enjoying nice clouds. it works. I like EQ basket screen method as well, but this feels very nice.

I have tried all the options (EQ screen, m2m, etc.) and also consider the official WPA the best. It's the only way I use my LSV now.

I know it isn't the right place but...
i'm about to recive a d020-D for my lsv: if i coubust in it, will shitty combustion smell stick to the bubbler and ruin the vape experience?
thanks
If you don't clean it, yes.
You know that nasty taste you get if you just pull through a dirty bong without actually smoking though it? You get that nasty taste tainting every hit.
IMO vapor won't mask that taste like smoking will.

If you give it a thorough clean, IMO even the dirtiest combustion piece can be cleaned to just about new.

thanks for the offer. that looks good but I'm thinking of something that wouldn't take up space on my table.

@stickstones , thanks I saw it, that's kinda the idea I'm going for. something suspended or hanging.

Right now I have it laying in the middle of it's open travel bag placed on a small foot stool for easy access. A stand is not absolutely necessary but it would be fun.
@sweetherb me too brah. I think straight up the wpa is my favorite way to hit. clearing out the spent ELB gets old quick.

 Damn, just enough to cover the screen? What temperature are you running? I feel like the official WPA requires a bit more heat than the M2M + ELB setup

For me its a trade off. I dont have to draw as long with the WPA. I use it at 12 for those close to dense hits and 2 for combustion looking milky vapor......huh?

Anyway, I feel like I have to draw forever with the ELB M2M. Also, I used less material than I thought with the WPA.

Wow that's funny, I've gone the opposite way with it.

I have been loading up my LSV WPA with about 0.3 and keeping the temperature low. My consumption was so high I had to switch back to the Nano to lower my tolerance again!

Now I'm going to have to pull out the LSV again and try it with a very small scoop of herbs

I forgot to add I have moved my heater cover down, In turn bringing the heating rod closer to the load. That may have something to do with it. I can move it easy with the shims. I do think the bowl on the WPA is big. Narrower would be better. I have the 14mm model and using the GB-187 60MM.

When changing no other variables, I usually use my LSV at 12 with the m2m, and 12 - 3 with the WPA

I usually fill it about 1/2 way, enough to just cover the ice pinches.

I'd guesstimate I usually pack 0.1 - 0.2g per load.
I generally use a little bit more per load in the WPA vs M2M, I'd guess each load in the WPA is like 1/3 larger than a load in the M2M.
The WPA can work fine with less herb than I use, but I always find myself using that much...

Then you're using it differently to its design intention, and IMO you're doing it kinda wrong...

I mean, if it works for you that's the most important thing, but the whole point of those ice pitches are to hold the screen down to stop it from flipping over while stirring...
I guess your load will be a bit closer to the heater though...

It can be a little difficult getting the screen under there, but it's relatively straightforward.

the hole for vapor to travel down into my WP is narrow. If I put the screen against the bottom of the WPA the material not over the hole I feel will just cook more than anything being against the glass. Also my screen doesn't move anywhere on top of the pinches.
