Paired with the right bubbler for the right price, this combo is an unbeatable value.

Agreed 100%. The ability to use this device in so many ways is what makes me love it. My friends get to try out all my vapes. This one is the one most of them have picked as their favorite. Some because of design, most because of the hit, and how similar it is to hitting a bong. My purple LSV is on right now paired with some GSC.. :spliff:

Hey guys, for those that are interested I just ordered an lsv vaporizer from lifesabervaporizer.com and they took paypal. YES. I was disputing If I was going to buy it from the lsv website or vapornation because they have a sell right now with 15% off but they didnt take paypal so I went with lsv directly. Vapornation had it for $180 including discount and lifesabervaporizer.com had it for $200. I paid the 200 because it was only 20 dollars more and Im guessing the 7th floor wont honor the warranty If I had went with vapornation. Im not sure about that however. Just thought I post my experience in case someone wanted to use paypal for ordering. Did I make the right choice? Opinions?...

Don't overlook the classifieds here, if you're not in a hurry nice packages come up from time to time.
Thanks for the help but when I need something I just needed now. NOW, I tells ya. :)

7th Floor will honor any warranty for product purchased from an authorized retailer of which VaporNation is one.
Oh ok cool, now I know. Let me ask you this, I went with the free shipping I think they also had priority mail but that was extra. So, I went with the free option from the lsv website, do you happen to know how long it takes for an order to arrive using the free shipping option? Im in california btw.

If I plug my LSV into a power strip containing other devices it appears to lack power. So I plug it or any other vaporizer direct into it's own dedicated receptacle plenty of power is obtained!. 15amp receptacles seen to do the trick!

Is it really going to make a big difference if I continue to do it with the surge protector and a 3 prong adapter? I dont have any 3 prong outlets in reach.

So my LSV arrived 3 days ago after a month waiting (ordered from lsv website), it ended up costing exactly 300$ after customs taxes.

Ok now the questions:

I got the GonG adapter but I don't know what am I supposed to put in the middle as the hole is pretty big in and the herb is going through.

How am I supposed to pack the wand? They say to just suck it in 1-4 to 3-4 full but am I supposed to compress it a bit with the back of the needle or leave it fluffy? And after stirring I usually compress it lightly with the glass part of the needle they gave me as it otherwise falls down.

The wand screen got so dirty in 3 days it got 100% clogged and I wasn't vaping THAT much... is this normal?

I find using it on 80-100% temp setting and I notice I still pull out much darker abv from my solo on max.
I didn't combust yet even when pulling pretty slowly on max temp. The heating element does get incandescent like in the videos though.

I noticed it gets really hot after 30 min of use and after 45 min you can barely hold it at the far bottom.

This can be affected by the temp in the room and the orientation of the LSV when waiting. I hang mine from a screw in the wall which keeps the element pointed up. This helps dissipate the heat up and away from the unit better than laying on its side or hanging in the other direction.

It may have came with metal screens. I ordered some with mine, but it might include some even if you didn't order them. Check the bag the LSV came in, the little pickets above the pockets that held the wand. That is where I found my baggie of screens.

@Sticks - great tip!

1 - there should be a screen with any LSV setup, the WPA and the wand both should have come with screens.
2 - it doesn't matter if you compress it down a little bit to make it stay put, just don't super compress it.
3 - that sounds pretty quick to me, was your herb particularly sticky? I've gone weeks without cleaning my WPA, but I don't really use the wand too often, so maybe that clogs up quicker?
4 - my solo gives me the darkest ABV of any vape, I can get herb so dark brown it almost looks black. I can almost get my ABV that dark with the LSV, but I suspect the conduction element of the solo adds to the darkening of the ABV a bit.
5 - I never combust with my LSV, I've noticed that as well as the positioning of the element, the size and placement of the air intake hole on the heater cover can affect things. Maybe the hole on your heater cover gives you a slightly cooler running temp? (Is it a large hole?)
6 - It depends on how hot you consider hard to hold... I've never found it so hot that I felt like it could burn me, but it can be uncomfortably hot sometimes (though that's usually when the ambient temp is very high, and the LSV has been on for some time). I've had friends remark at how hot it is when I haven't thought it was that bad, so maybe I'm a bit less sensitive to heat?

Just got my accessories from Andy @ epicvape they work great in the LSV just look for EV-2 direct draw wand, 19-19 gong, and elbowl for whip attachment, and tubing all at rock bottom prices! Score!!!
Thanks for the heads up on these SSVUN~YAH !! These will work perfect in the LSV as the screen is built into the gog adapter, the wand and the whip adapter! Awesome!!

I have always wanted to find a way to use my Cloud's ELB's in my GOG adapter for the LSV but they were always a bit too thin and long to fit right. This should be sweet!

These could potentially help a lot of LSV users solve the problem of getting an adapter that works well with a screen (not the biggest fan of the WPA, i have the shorty). Once I saw what they were, I couldnt order 'em fast enough!

Never thought of that aspect of hanging it. Mine will become hot, too hot to touch laying on it's side. Gonna have to start hanging it.

Yeah they are great finds and with code "EV50", for half off you can't beat it, you used the code for half off right?

Dammit, no I didn't. In my overly excited state, I ordered it right away. However, I have only ordered the 19-19 GonG so far, and it was about $15 with shipping, so at least I only missed out on saving a little bit of scratch instead of a lot. I wanted to try it out and make sure I liked it before getting more. But now I know....

I have a large collection of 18mm glass fittings however lately I like the 14mm much better. Now I need to up grade my quiver.

Part of the dance!

Yeah, most of my glass is 14mm so I am going to have to use an adapter with it, but I really wanted to pack more in a single screen that I am currently able to with the LSV. Hope this gives me that and a bit more.

I really want to get a nice glass bubbler piece, but I prefer small to very small glass pieces. Something discreet that can easily hide on a bookshelf or something. It's hard for me to find pieces smaller than 10" tall that can really stack bubbles, and doesnt cost ~$400. That's why the PNWT works so well for me, it's little and does a great job of diffusion for its small size. I do have a small 9" straight glass bong with a 14mm diffused downstem, so that works fairly OK.

I have smaller and larger glass set ups. It works well with anyone of them. Even 18mm with a medium size bubbler works well. I even have a ASH COLLECTOR and J-HOOK set up that works. The LSV works so well with any size water path. 14mm is a way for me to mix it up!
Even big out of control setups work!

Odd problem. I sent my LSV in about two months ago and got it worked on had a short or something. It has been working flawlessly until today when the metal housing at the base of the element came out. The cord was just kinda hanging there with element at the end. I pressed it back in the base and it worked fine. Since I use the LSV with the top cap off and the WPA most of the time I am afraid heater cover could fall out and break or break one of my pieces. Do you think some type of adhesive could be added to the steal piece around the element to help it stay in place? I don't want anything potentially toxic.

I know :hmm:.It does still perform well just wanna prevent problems. Don't get me wrong 7th floor fixed my issue but now it's not under warranty (>1yr) so I was looking for something I could do to fix it. I am really careful with mine it is the old style though. At the base with the shims.

@Korben

My first step would still be to contact 7th floor.

Given they've already had to repair it once, and (I'm guessing) you've only recently had your warranty period lapse, they might still fix if for free.

I doubt you'll break anything by having the heater cover smash something while dropping, I would think if its gonna fall out, it'll probably stay sitting on the WPA, and you'll notice it before removing the LSV.

If you definitely want to go DIY on it, my first step would be to check the screws at the base of the element.
That's the only thing I can think of that'd be an easy fix.

Ime, It's hard finding adhesives/binding agents that are rated for temperatures high enough to be suitable for vapes.

I recall someone getting crafty and using a paperclip (or something similar) to fix something with their heater cover, maybe you can macguyver something with that?
