I read that GOP talking heads are now talking about vote policing their spouses (saying that a wife should vote the same as their husband), and not voting the same is even equivalent to infidelity. One on Fox here,

Imagine that coming from a 41 year old guy married with kids having an affair w/ his 27 year old producer (at that time)

A Texas woman died after the hospital said it would be a “crime” to intervene in her miscarriage

:peace: :leaf:

And this is happening over and over. Pulitzer Prize winning ProPublica is doing an investigation w/ CBS of pregnancy healthcare in the anti-abortion state of Texas since Roe v. Wade was killed by the Supreme Court. Another story,

Jesse Waters got together with his new wife by letting the air out of her tires in the Fox parking lot and stalking her car. His employee couldn't drive home so he offered her a ride. He openly brags about it.

In that clip Judge Jeanine asks, "why would your wife be scared of you, Jesse". Because she might be a Right Wing ghoul, but she's a woman first and knows an abuser when she sees one

Fellas: looks like the next President of these United States is gonna be a chick.

Selzer is the most accurate pollster in the country. She correctly called 2016 and 2020 within a point. She's never been off by more than 5 points.

If you were a Kamala-head waiting for Selzer's final Iowa poll, you wanted to see a Trump +8 or lower. That's the margin Trump won the State by in 2020, when he lost to Biden's corpse.

Selzer's final poll: Kamala +3 :lmao:

Remember: Selzer has never been off by more than 5 points. In a Presidential election, never off by 1 point. And Trump needs to be up in Iowa by 9 points to have a chance at winning nationally.

The bad news: the majority of pollsters seemingly didn't want to have a repeat of 2016. It's very possible they gave way too much weight to Republican leaning voters. This led MAGA people to believe this is a close election. If it turns out this isn't a close election the Hogs are gonna go wild.

I think we need 10 points or better to stem the violence. We could get that if Iowa is any indication. Asking the cultists to face facts will be an iffy proposition. Everybody else is going to get it.

When the reality sinks in for Trump on what his next stop is going to be, he is going to go completely ballistic. If he threatens or encourages violence among his followers, he should get one very visible (public) warning from the DOJ, then he needs to be arrested, hopefully on camera.

Am I getting a little ahead of myself?

I disagree. That guarantees violence. Because the media has been telling everyone it's a close race. To gin up ratings. Fox has been saying it's more or less a guaranteed Trump win. If this turns out to be a comfortable Harris win, the shock is going to cause problems.

We'll probably see a number of suicides-by-cop over the next few months. If there's no collateral damage to bystanders, I'm ok with this.

Am I getting a little ahead of myself?

I dunno.... yesterday I would've said the chances are 51/49 in favor of Harris. Now.... well, I sure wouldn't want to be on the Trump campaign. They apparently panicked and leaked an internal poll saying they're up +5 in Iowa. Dawg....why would you do that? If you're only up 5 in Iowa, you're losing every single Swing State

As somebody who watched Joe Rogan pre-2020, this "Puerto Rico is a floating island of garbage" situation is so fucking funny to me. The comedian who made that joke is Joe's least talented ass-licker. Joe found him because he needed a road-opener who was both shorter than him, and less talented. A tall order.

If I could go back in time and tell 2012 me that Tony Hinchcliffe caused former President Donald Trump to die in prison my fucking head would explode like that scene in Scanners.

Oh my god, why did you not start distancing yourself from Genocide Joe like this 3 months ago? The election is two fucking days away! You can hear the massive, organic cheers here. Ending the war is a winning issue.

It's driving me insane that she allowed Trump to paint himself as the friend of Muslims. He also put the Republican War on Terror on the Democrats' balance sheet, as they run around the country with the Cheneys:bang:

I care about the actual results. I don't give two shits to the wind about any poll.
It could still go very very bad in every conceivable way.

You're not wrong. Which is why it's baffling that they're just now understanding they have to win Michigan.

On a longer term scale...I'm a little concerned they believe they can win while thumbing their noses at the anti-war crowd. That certainly doesn't bode well for the future. Ditto for their Right Wing turn on migrants. A warming planet means more war and more migration.

Harris has been and still is the vice president in the Biden administration. She can't have her own foreign policy that is different from Biden's until she is no longer serving his administration. She has no authority beyond what she is given by the President.

She broke with Biden when the old man was cool and called Trump supporters garbage. She absolutely could've broken with him on his unwavering support for genocide, at least a little. Biden is unpopular. This "war" is unpopular. There was only upside to doing so.

Let me be even more clear: "Joe Biden and I are working tirelessly for a ceasefire" is one of the most poisonous lies to ever come out of this government. It's up there with "there are WMD's in Iraq" and arguably more absurd. Biden could've ended this slaughter at any point he chose over the past 13 months with a single phone call.

I honestly felt ill filling out the bubble next to her name. Yeah, Biden and Hillary were war criminals. But Iraq and Libya were in the past. The war crimes she has thrown her full support behind are ongoing. I guarantee there are millions of other voters who felt the same exact way.

As much as I don't want to say anything against the Democratic candidate till after the election, this is bullshit. She could say that the president is a fucking idiot if she wanted to. This "she can't say..." bullshit is complete and utter bullshit. She is falling on the wrong side of history for this, and all we can do is hold her feet to the fire after the orange hitler guy is out for good. But for now it has to be all about her win if we still want to have democratic elections in the future.

If you are expecting disloyalty from Kamala Harris, then you obviously have not been paying attention. Kamala Harris's loyalty to Biden and his family was never put on for the benefit of the public. It is real, and as far as I'm concerned, completely appropriate. We're going to see differences in her policies from Biden's, but you will not see them until after she's President. And I don't think they're gonna end up being a surprise to anyone. At least not anyone who's been paying attention.
And this is all, of course, assuming she is elected. I think that's gonna happen, but it is far from a sure thing at this point.

When your boss is violating both American and international law in service of an ethnic cleansing campaign, then yeah I do expect some "disloyalty" from Ms. "I've prosecuted Transnational criminals".

And here's the thing... no one in the anti-war movement is asking her to commit treason. But some rhetorical shift would've been nice. She did much better during her recent Michigan speech. Could've done that prior to the Saturday before the election.

And this is all, of course, assuming she is elected. I think that's gonna happen, but it is far from a sure thing at this point.

Yeah that's the whole fucking point. She's risking the election by fully backing Biden's ethnic cleansing campaign.

"Oh she can't be DISLOYAL to a war criminal!!!!" Is this election an existential threat to democracy or not? Ridiculous.

That's another reason it's insane Biden didn't end this months ago. Bibi has been desperately trying to drag the United States into a regional war, in an attempt to get his old friend Trump elected.

Frankly, if Kamala pulls this off. All the Liberals should say a little prayer of thanks to the Ayatollah or whoever the fuck runs Iran these days for being much more levelheaded and restrained than The World's Most Moral Democracy™.

I saw a video saying the alliance keeping Bibi in power is with the super-conservative "orthodox" sect. It seems they are taking are very hard line, with a rumored political ending shortly after the election. I don't claim to know the real situation, but I'm not comfortable knowing that my tax dollars are going towards providing very serious weapons used in that manner. Just trying to negotiate a ceasefire for a year isn't enough IMO. On the other hand, I suspect Trump would tell them to ramp it up. Bibi is a criminal IMO.

If you look back a few pages, I posted a story about how Trump was given a $100 million bribe by Sheldon Adelson's widow in return for allowing Israel to fully annex the West Bank.

It also drives me insane that he runs around saying "October 7th would've never happened if I was President". His stupid fucking "Abraham Accords", where the Palestinians were totally cut out of the peace negotiations, directly led to October 7th happening.
