Here's a sneak peek at my first 3D print of the Indica Loading Stand!
It was a long 7 hour print, but for a first prototype, it's actually pretty good!
Sadly my measurements were a bit too tight on the Indica, I need to add a millimeter of tolerance to the next version, and I'll probably increase the polygon count of the stand shape to add some more detail. I'll work on testing all the various components of the stand tonight and modify as needed. Should have another prototype later this week!

I just receiving the funnel for loading but it doesn't seem to fit into the loading chamber, can someone post an illustration on how to do it or instruct me, appreciate it!
Thanks @CarolKing - from an email @Alvinhwang63 just sent, it seems that my funnel is not sitting flush with his Indica.
Has anyone else had any problems with their indica funnels? My original design was a bit too loose, so I recently added a few microns of plastic to make it a nice friction fit.

I ha that issue with the funnel initially. Later by accident, I found that the indica's innards can move slightly up. It was only a half millimetre, but enough to make it so the funnel didn't seat all the way down. I pushed downward on the mouthpiece while holding the metal case and the funnel then fit like a charm.
Very interesting (and a little concerning) - I'll need to investigate this more and see what I can figure out

I recently had the opportunity to test out the new Indica Vaporizer, and let me tell you, I am already a big fan.
The appeal of the Indica Vaporizer is the simplicity of the design. This vape is quite visually pleasing, sleekly designed in the shape of a Zippo lighter. The vape was clearly designed to be simple and effective, which is just my speed as a weedist who likes getting high without worrying too much about the process. The three main components of the Indica are the compartment where you pack the flowers, a single button to turn on the vape and change the temperature level, and the mouthpiece where you inhale the herbal bliss.
What I immediately noticed was the size of the chamber in this device. The Indica Vaporizer’s chamber has a capacity for .31 grams of herbs, so you spend less time repacking and more time toking. I loved this feature because in the past, my problem with other vaporizers was how small the bowls were. So no need to spend all of your time repacking the bowl. After the first use of this product, I checked the bowl because I thought it had been in use long enough that it would need repacking… but as I opened the compartment, I was amazed to find there were still greens left to be vaporized – mind blown! Hats off to you Indica, for this lovely feature.

The first charge of the vape requires 12 hours and subsequent charges take 3-4 hours. This may seem a bit long, but it’s not too bad as far as vaporizers of this caliber go. Besides, you’re able to toke while the vape is charging, so there’s no need to worry about waiting to get your greens. The battery life is purported to last for 1.5+ hours of continuous use, and after several days of consistent use, I can vouch for the battery life. After a long night of passing the vape around, toking with a bunch of friends at a party, I was pleased at how long the vape lasted before it needed to be charged again.
The Indica is fun for everyone! And of course, it goes without saying that the simple pocketable design makes this vape ideal for the weedist on-the-go, making it easy as ever to get high wherever your stoner journeys take you. I was also quite impressed with how quickly the vape heats up, it takes less than a minute before you’re ready to take a hit.
The single button on this vape allows you to choose the temperature you’d like to consume your herbs at and doubles as a battery life monitor. When you start it up, the LED light will indicate the level of charge left: white for 60-100%, green for 20-60% charge, and red when you only have 20% or less battery life left. I really appreciate this feature because with vapes I’ve used in the past, it has been hard to tell when the battery is running low and the vape needs a charge. This is another smart feature meant to keep toking as convenient as possible for the lucky customers of this product.
The temperature settings on the Indica vaporizer are color coded.
If I have one complaint about this vape, it is that the button did get stuck down a few times while changing the temperature, but that was only a minor inconvenience for a few seconds. I’m still completely thrilled with the Indica.
The accessories that come with this product are vape picks, a USB charger, replacement screens, a brush for cleaning out the chamber, an extra chamber door, a protective cloth pouch to carry the vape, and mini spacers to help pack the size bowl you prefer (although I tend to just pack it all the way full every time). Oh, and it all comes packaged nice and neatly in a classy wooden box. It is also important to note that the vape comes with a 12-month warranty.
Way to go Indica, you’ve definitely made a fan out of me. I would highly recommend this vape for weedists who prioritize quality and simplicity when selecting a piece.

Hello Indica Thread-goers, I come to you seeking knowledge. I've had a few dozen sessions with my Indica over the course of a month but I still don't feel like I quite yet have the hang of it. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but I don't seem to get good vapor production even on the higher temperatures. I'm not feeling like I am getting all out of my herbs though the avb is very brown and beautiful. I get 1 or 2 good inhales (i would get 6-8 "good inhales" from the same load in my solo, for comparison) and 4 or 5 mediocre hits before it is done. The lower temps seem to be not useful. Is there a specific draw technique? Right now I draw slowly into my mouth and then take a deep breath of air. I use a grind similar to what I see in the pictures of this thread so I'm not sure what my issue could be. Thank you for reading.

How are you packing your Indica? The method preferred by most users of this thread is to fill your Indica oven full with ground material, and then load one spacer to pack everything down.
Another note - unlike any other vaporizer I own, I have found you get better vapor density if you hit the vape HARDER than usual (sometimes I try to fill my lungs in under 10 seconds!). I usually know by the rushing sound of air flowing through the oven door.
Lastly, while my new Noir Indica has not required any cleaning, my original Stainless Steel Indica vapor path seemed to get clogged up all the time, required a paperclip to unclog the line to get better vapor production. Perhaps you should try an ISO soaked pipe cleaner through the vapor path to unclog it
Weird but true here too. Of all the different vapourizers I have used, the Indica is the only one that has behaved like this.

Still waiting on my replacement Noir after mine stopped heating in 2 days. The Indica Vaporizer account on here messaged me back very quickly about the replacement on the 21st, and with Christmas and everything I expected it to take a bit longer to arrive. I'm just really hoping to have the replacement before I leave on my ski trip this weekend haha. However, I do still have trouble attempting to register the warranty online, so I'm not sure on that one. It could be an outdated version of Chrome I'm using or something though, as I haven't checked on that in a while.

Ive got an Imag+ with a mouthpiece I customized and an arizer solo as backups, so I'll still have something to take along! The Indica would just be super handy haha. The only one of the 3 I could just stash in my jacket pocket, as well as use effectively on the lifts/gondola.

Since I wrote first review here in Indica thread, it has been more than 6 months now and my SS Indica V1 is still on its duty and is still strong enough to compete with new vaporizers released in F/W 2014.
However on the Christmas Eve I have received my new 'SN:2V 0666' Evil Indica Noir from Mr. Bruce All Mikey.
And I was heavily using the Noir almost for a week and finally I can write something now.
Initial usage
I kind of understand why some people mentioned robot-fart smell, but that’s only initial smell. If you keep on rubbing with ISO and running empty cycles than it might get worse like my V1. What I found was just load with the tastiest herbs and start using it than within about 4~5 sessions, the initial smell, and taste will be all gone by then.
Exterior
The biggest difference between Original SS Indica V1 to V2 Noir was not only it’s color, but also the entire unit it self has been upgraded. The black body has very sleek feel to it, not like the SS version, it doesn’t leave any fingerprints, and the top lid open and close very smoothly and the oven door clicks in and stays solid. It has become very solid and stealthy unit I have to say.
Spec
The new Noir reaches its desired temperature slightly slower than the V1 (by 10~12 Sec, not much though. [1 Mins 17 Secs]), but the Noir definitely performs better than the V1. At the same temperature setting, the Noir produce more visible cloud and it delivers extraordinary taste. It was already good on the V1 but the vapor is much more delicate and cooler than ever before.
Functional
One of my only few concern with my V1, was that the chamber door gets very loose and flimsy, gets extremely hot to touch and the chamber door falls effortlessly. And the difficult inhalation due to small/tight air hole under the mouthpiece (easily blocked by herbs, needs constant cleaning), but these entire problems has been 100% addressed in Noir. I meant 100%! Now it has larger intake hole under mp so there were much less draw resistance and it doesn't get clogged easily. This is phenomenal as most of other manufacturers rather ignore these minor issues, but carries on even there are obvious problems.

Compare to other vapes
The Indica Noir is not only my best portable, but it also strong in all around.
The versatility of the vaporizer is very important but I count the taste of the vapor the most. And I think the Crafty and FF has the best taste, however that is just for first 1~2 hits. After that the taste degrade extremely fast and its almost taste char by the end of the session. However the Noir has the one of the best taste retain ability for conduction vaporizer that beats many other convection vaporizers.
There are newly released conduction vaporizers such as Alfa and Haze 2.5. And I can say that the Noir out performs both in many ways.
I just can’t understand how these new vaporizers are worse than my old V1.
Finally the greatest advantage for choosing Indica over others is Mike, who stands behind his product. I wasn’t only blown away by it’s product but had the best customer service in this industry so far.
Obviously the Noir rules!

Does anyone has had experience with a gassing unit?
I notice that if i put on red for several sessions i can see vapor getting out from the some place of the oven or inside the unit?? I have this experience in two units and im waiting for Mike's reply , im worried about cause the vapor not finished to get out and i was inhaling 2 months?
Had someone this experience? I can tell the vapor have some electronic taste and smell.
All of this with no material inside the Indica , just empty and clean.
I like the indica but im worried about.

My first Noir stopped heating after the first 4 days, after having some initial trouble playing phone tag with customer service Mike stepped in and was super helpful and had a rep get in touch. Had the unit replaced and this one has been going strong for about 3 or so weeks now of good use. It's been super easy to use traveling... a little space case scout grinder, the indica and a keychain and you literally have everything you need for weeks. When you pair it with the SonG and some glass it really turns the higher temp sessions into a super nice relaxing at home device... cloudy!
Basically... as long as it's working it gets an A+, once the failed device kinks get worked out and maybe a user replaceable battery gets added... perfect!

Yes when I do a flashlight test I would see off-gassing. One of my units stopped heating too I just remembered. I don't know where the fumes are coming from per say but the first 2 fumers were supposedly because of a "safe" tape being reversed during manufacturing. I'm sure mike will contact us soon as it is was the holidays before and he always does get back to his customers.
There was an issue on the older silver Indicas about 5-6 months ago in which the insulation around the oven was installed reverse and the outer layer of the insulation was making direct contact with the oven. (look back in this thread, you'll see it was a big issue for a short while there) Supposedly this has been resolved on the newer Indica units.
What version was yours? The older stainless one, or the new noir units?

I had Cloud V Phantom which was off gassing on empty chamber, reported and received replacement unit within 2 weeks but the replacement unit I got was also faulty so I took picture and reported back and I got ignored since almost two month now. Sent more than 7~8 messages but there were no reply. What a good enterprise
I regret that I threw $100 for IMAG rebrand chineses cheap shit.
However I am glad that I had Indica, and I still think it worth every single penny.

I love my Indica. I consistently get two and three sessions per load. It is a cloud pleaser, easy to use and easy to carry.
