I had a hard time abandoning smoking when I first realized I could not continue it (almost like a cruel twist of fate, a year after starting to use cannabis and thinking I had found the coolest thing since sliced bread in smoking, horrible sinus and ear issues popped up and I knew I couldn't keep it up).

4 years later, and a ton of money on vapes, there will never be a toastface that smokes again. For the first two years of avoiding smoking, i'd get urges and desires to take a huge bong rip or roll up a big cone, and after periods of stress and debating whether or not it was worth it to cave, I occasionally would and then realize "wtf am I doing". I used to think I had to settle for an inferior method with vaping, but now I realize how wrong I was and how there is literally no reason to ever rely on smoking if you have the right tools for the vaping job!

Going to the doctors constantly as someone with severe OCD for checkups and constantly being told I have a perfect bill of health for areas that would be affected by smoking (especially during my periods of vaping the heaviest) even further sells me on how much I prefer the act of inhaling clouds of rather benign vapor to clouds of disgusting smoke..

I gotta quit smoking again. Currently don't have a portable- I'm out of town and regretting not bringing the desktop... Combusting has made me feel bad in just a few sessions, I'm going to just abstain the next couple days until I get home this weekend. Seriously looking at a flame based vape purchase soon to fill the void

I wonder if the 4 people who answered "fuck vaping" so far did it out of contradictory spirit or not... :)
If I remember correctly, I believe one of them voted that way accidentally and then couldn't change it

No idea on the other three, although it would be interesting to find out :hmm:

Nice to see so many people fucked or nearly fucked up the Combustion...
For myself, i was able to quit that damn cigs after nearly 24 years.
Still struggling around with joints, but mostly with Friends.

The money I spent to cigs before, is now in good use with Vaporizers.
Thx to FC and all those nicely done vaporizers. :)

"sorry, don't like to light my bud on fire."

fuck everybody that turns down a solo and would rather hit a pipe. "wana pitch on this?" fuck no...

Lol this made me laugh. Sorry... just started reading this thread. Been lurking a bit lately, not much time but...

How about people that got fucked by combustion? I count myself one of those, and why I quit once and for all. Or is that what happens to everyone...being fucked by combustion?

The first time I read the title I was excited. Finally some people who share my fetish. I was ready to discuss the finer points of kinds of fuel and best burn creams.

Since 6 months and the first cloud on a Davinci Ascent at 185° I'm sold to vape.

But it's feel like a curse sometime. I can't get back and I'm still miss my dutch joint and my smoking ritual.

Vape is really nice but you can't share the experience like u do with combustion.
I can't pass around a 300$ dollars vape like I don't care. I can't ask someone to give me a cig or a paper to roll and smoke with him ; "May I plug my crafty on ur computer guy ?"

I fucked tobacco but really enjoy spend a BIG bud for a 100%PUR king size joint when I'm with good friends.

Don't usually combust anymore till I get home, not even tobacco thanks to ecigs, but I still find myself taking about 3 mixed joints before going to bed. The ritual, the couch lock, the tobacco, the moon, who knows... still miss something though.

Tried some timid labor week combustion breaks but weekend and buddies make me fail so easily.

I truly prefer vapor by far but 20 years combusting is a habit that sticks hard. Goats look for the mountains as they say in my country.

I'd say I'm in the regretful addict phase, which is quite an advancement considering my background.

I haven't smoked anything since last march, 2014. People will be smoking pot around me and offer me a hit and wonder why I turn it down. But that's a great excuse to bust out a vape. I've made two converts in the past month alone. Once you start turning down joints of primo weed and telling people they are wasting that wonderful herb they take notice.

Then they pack in some of their weed and want to vape all the time. Seems to take a few times. Now a buddy that I just introduced to the Solo less than a month ago already knows all about temps, time, how to charge properly for long life, little tricks, etc. Only took him maybe 6 times to just about master it. He can even take bigger rips than I can now. I'm trying to figure out what his trick is. :) He's having his wife get him one for father's day.

Smoked cigs for about ten years. Been using a mod/rda setup for like four months now and haven't had a single cig since. I actually got into rda's in my search for a better way to vape bho, kicking cigs was a bonus.
I have an rda setup just for hash. I made a stovetop coil flat on my deck with a vertical cylinder coil on top of that. At 0.2 ohms it beats the living crap out of every dry content atty I've ever tried!

I literally JUST finally quit combusting for good about a week and a half ago. Daily blunts, joints, bong rips and I used to smoke cigs a year ago but quit them cold turkey(idk how)

Now if I need to get truly medicated at home I either dab shatter or use my DBV or if I am on the go I have my Pax. Never looking back to combustion ever, there's no need. I get more baked vaporizing less material and if I'm craving flavored fog I have my Mod

I can say that vaping changed everything, for the better and the best.

I don't even know where to start....true flavours, smoothness, better high, can toke inside now without the wife complaining, the list goes on.

I'm the same. Wife is much happier now and I find I can be stoned more often because the smell is less. I feel better, less locked to one spot and can interact with others because I don't stink up the place like I had done before when I smoked.

I have smoked once since feburary but that was at friends party cause he just rolls the best joints. But for me personally, I prefer not to smoke.
