That's true, I am getting ahead of myself a bit. I've always been intimidated by the torches, though seeing some of the water filtration add-ons for DHV's has gotten me excited. I'm on a budget so for immediate cold turkey smoke cessation I got the dreaded DaVinci Micro-C (I read up on why it was unrecommended, but, I had a 60% discount at the local dispensary). This has helped me in the immediate while I wait for my POTV Lobo arrive. I know that both of these are fairly beginner vapes but truthfully I'm paralyzed at the amount of options in front of me between desktop vaporizers, ball vapes, Storz & Bickel portables... I think I'm going to spend the next month really deep-diving all my options before moving into something more stable. I'm simultaneously relieved and perturbed by the Micro-C, a lot of the criticisms online are true but I just wanted to have something that would keep me from being completely THC-less and that would stave off any chance of me wanting to reach for the bong.

I don't know a lot about battery vapes but if you think you might keep one foot in the manual, torch-heated world I find some of them good analogues for smoking, and I think that's what helped me switch immediately and effortlessly to vaping. There's a ton of different ones in the Manual Vape thread. Many are portable and pocket-ready, some are capable of desktop levels of power, and others also work with battery or wall power sources to diversify use methods. Most are gorgeous hand-made works of art. And they still deliver some of the best flavor and vapor quality available.

Hope you enjoy your vaping journey--and healthy lungs!

Hey, welcome to FC! I think you will find the Lobo a pleasant step up from your current experience. It can definitely carry you for a while as you sort things out.

You're gonna hear it soon enough, a term we all use eventually, so I'll tell you about it at the outset:
V.A.S., Vape Aquisition Syndrome. Its real.
You've been warned!
