@norweedian I've loaded stems and then spent a minute or so getting side tracked and no smell at all.

LOL I had it open the other day and my wife walked by. She looked down at it, shook her head and simply said, "that's ridiculous". I just laughed! God love her for putting up with me! But I have made room already for my HGL. Revised pic's when it lands home!

That looks stunning @Carl Hempel im looking to order one soon, which wood is that? Is that what you get as a standard package or where there extras included that you wanted? I'll be bugging @RastaVapa in the near future about woods, pricing and bits and bobs as I look at these more and more for the ever increasing collection of vape's for home use.

Glad you like it, looks good with that piece , I also included an all wood shallow bowl for really thick one hit rips for you to try I have been adding one to a few packages so people can see what they are like .
Hopefully have a website sorted soon with all the stem and gong Wong styles available .

It's Zebrano got the Standard package + Glass GonG and Straight tube, as well as the extra shallow wooden bowl @RastaVapa kindly included.
You're welcome to use any of my HGL photos man, it's a beautiful piece so I'm sure I'll be taking plenty
The Shallow bowl is great for one massive hit, layered up some concentrates on top of a thin bed of dry herb too and it was fantastic.
I'm really enjoying the log experience so far, it does perhaps run a little hot for my personal preferences but I've found I can mitigate this by lifting the log more during my rip to control the temps.
Would definitely be interested in a controller unit if you will be offering one.
Overall, day 2 - still really impressed!

It is running the ss element which does run slightly hotter, are you using the extension lead?,it will lower voltage slightly but I shall have two vvps completed very soon for complete control....

I like the idea of a dial to control temps that but better as long as it's small and easy to use, will these be offered as a standard package or are they more premium @RastaVapa ? I have a Milaana already so I totally get the manual nature of the beast I suppose these logs are fairly similar, you have control of the throttle by your own inhalation, timings etc.

Yep I'm using the extension lead too @RastaVapa I can comfortably work with this temperature, but will 100% take a VVPS for the fine tuning - drop me a line when you've got one available

I really like that I could do a wood sleeve no problem ,thanks for sharing that I will do the next few gongs and see what everyone thinks but who's not going to prefer Nice wood over silicon.

I've been lurking at this thread for a while now... And I have loved everything I've seen...
So I decided this is going to be my first desktop vape!!!

The beauty of having blanks and a lathe at your disposal.
I had this blank which I never thought would be anything much. It looked two tone but it's been sat around collecting dust for nearly a decade and looked pretty 'bland'. I was pleasantly surprised.
No idea what timber the body is but the base is Scottish Yew.
