BAM no more coughing.
The reason you're coughing is the moisture is lost from the herb very quickly, dry vapor hits are irritating. Moisturize that vapor!

How do we know the HerbalAire really extracted all of the goodies out of that ABV???

It's one thing to have "absolutely nothing of interest" left and quite another to have no "leftover goodies", the difference depends on what goodies are.
In any case, this is what i reported on April 26 (almost 2 months ago): http://www.fuckcombustion.com/viewtopic.php?pid=128004#p128004
As i recall there was no bad taste, i'm not even sure there was any taste at all...
In a recreational context there were no goodies left for all practical purposes, someone consuming cannabis for its medicinal properties might have argued otherwise.

I just finished my best qwiso wash yet! 1/2oz of abv & 250ml bottle of 99.8% iso seperatly in the freezer for 3hrs then mix them together & soak for 25 seconds & then shake for 15secs then soak again for 15secs & then one more 15sec shake then strain via coffe filters & a potato ricer into a pyrex dish.
let sit in a dark well ventilated place for 48hrs or so till all the iso is gone & there is dry crud left in the dish.
I then sprinkle in some of the kief from my 4 peice grinder & get the razor & start scraping.
I got a really nice .4 gram block of really nice sweet looking hash type stuff. Looks like the real deal to me, tastes great, smokes great ( I cant help but to combust concentrates- shoot me lol), smells great.
Now, I agree that smoking it(ABV) taste like total shit, and half an oz of it would take a bit to toke thru.
I tried to find a way to eat it (firecrackers, brownies etc), it either tasted like shit or in the brownies case they didnt do shit.
I have wanted to make green/golden dragon, but its $80 aud for a bottle of bacardi 151 (no everclear here).
whereas the iso costs me $7.
Finding reliable connections here is very hard, so there is no way most people would bin their abv round here. You would kick yourself in a herb drought.
I find qwiso the best option & helps me justify that the HA (or any vape) as the gift that keeps on giving!
I vape about 1/2 oz per week of local bush weed (dankety dank is rare round here, and super expensive),
i then take that vaped poo & spend $7 for some nice extra chocolate buzz that my mates think is cool.
hash is so rare here that we all have trouble telling the qwiso hash from the real deal, in fact I would love to know the difference between qwiso hash & the traditional methods used.
so, if anyone knows how the tibetans or the afghans or whoever used to do it, pls give us the heads up.
purely for educational purposes & learning about other cultures of course.

Also, failures of their units seem to be freak occurrences! The HA is very reliable, both in a sense of being durable (watch the drop test) and also of being able to work through many, many years of careful use. I've got my issues with it, but it's a workhorse through and through.
I'm a button click away from buying an Extreme Q over Ebay through vapeworld but have not gotten anything resembling a straight answer from Arizer about whether or not it will be serviced should it break down. Like pulling teeth.
ARIZER tech kevin said:You will have a manufacturers warranty with your unit but if purchased from a person/company that is not an Authorized Arizer Distributor it can sometimes take a long time to received any service/support from them as they are not Authorized Distributors. Also, if you require service from us because the retailer is not willing to provide warranty service for you, you will be responsible for the cost of shipping us your unit for service. We strongly encourage our customers to only purchase from Authorized Arizer Distributors so they can receive warranty service locally and save both time and money on shipping the unit to us internationally. You will need to retain the dated proof of purchase to receive warranty service from Arizer.
I hope this helps. If you have any further questions please feel free to ask.

Australia
Home-distillation of alcohol is illegal in Australia, but the law is rarely enforced. The sale of stills up to 5 litre capacity and other distilling equipment, including yeasts, flavourings and other ingredients specific to distillation, is legal. Brewery supply stores have permission to sell stills up to 25 L. Australians
Australians - you can posess a still of <5L capacity, but not produce spirits from it.
The Distillation Act of 1901 was repealed (by Act 74 2006) effective July 2006 and the relevant legislation has been moved to the Excise Act 1901.
