I just completed the upgrade for firmware using an old SANDISK 12GB USB 2.0 drive.

Has anyone tried reclaiming from their square?
Im about 5-6 trays in without a deep clean (just got my deep clean tray, thanks Haze). I can see the hole that leads out of 2 piece ss screen/chamber is coated in light brown oil. I can only assume inside the 2 ss pieces are covered in it too. Never really tried reclaiming since i’m new to the convection vape world, but the oil i can see looks too good to waste from the strawberry cough and orange diesel i’ve been running through it.

Sometimes i do....I use sculpting tools to get out and store in silicone case ...it's mixed with material and end sup looking like finger hash....kinda of dark.....works good in edibles.....

You do a deep clean after every tray? I can’t imagine that being necessary... I’d assume it would cause a lot of wear and tear on it too...unless it’s primarily used for concentrates which I assume isnt the case. I’ve just used a brush and a wax tool to clean the bottom of the screens and brush or blow out the pods & MP now and then.


Also, to everyone else, i think we should try and get a best of for the Square going! It would be good to gather technique and important info since its a newer product, and i’d bet certain info here isn’t available anywhere else on the web

That's why I have two trays.....always one ready!!!!!!! But yeah I still clean after every tray.....less frustrations.... I hate when my performance goes down.....

I find it more the screen lids need to be cleaned oppose to the actual pods. Even if I wipe with iso I have some nice goo sandwiched between the screen lids.

I changed to a new coil
(seems to fit the circular part better)

So far so good.

Vaping 1 pod @ 415 then 445. Battery Orange. Seemed not to hit as hard when ORANGE .

@Haze Vaporizers what power percentage represents each light color:
100=green
yellow?
orange?
Red dead.

The haze square V2 definitely needs a bigger battery

I'm going from Full to 35% in about eight hits at 415 and 4:40.

This is disappointing because I packed three out of the four bowls and I barely got through Bowl 1.

High temps will bring battery life down quick .......I've noticed

But it charges so fast lol.

I didn’t get to use mine tonight. Was gonna bring it to work today but didn’t. Oh well. Tonight will be fun with NY Sour Diesel.

I definitely agree on battery life.

There's absolutely no chance I could get through 4 pods on one charge.

I usually can get thru all four .....four or five good hits of flavor/vapor on each.....then I recharge and finish off pods at higher temp...i can finish three pods on a full charge....

I was just able to successfully change y temperatures and I'm hoping it helps with battery life and extraction speed.

Went with 390, 400, 410, 420, 440.

The app is easy to use and the process is very straightforward.

It would be cool to be able to update firmware while in the app. Didn't see that option but i was in a rush.

Is that 8 normal hits or are you double/triple pressing to make the each draw longer? And how many draws do you take to fully cash in a pod?

In the vape critic’s review, I believe he said he got 37 draws at temps between 400-450. Is anyone getting similar results?

That’s not firmware. That’s the version of the app.

App and firmware are different. Current firmware is .59. Old one is .57. You should see that when you plug vape into computer. Open app. Look at bottom of app screen.

once you give the temps a name and send to unit it should auto save for you...now i have noticed that I have lost all the pre programmed temps I had saved but never prob getting saved....good luck

Just went through 4 bowls in about an hour with it unplugged at first then plugged in. Finished with a bowl of oil at 475 and this is the first time my Square has been too hot to handle. But everyone enjoyed it.

Light flickers red, then blue. then red, and keeps going.
Never turns solid blue after 10 secs nor turned green
