Still waiting on my 2 extra trays, extra battery, and red silicone sleeve I ordered
Still waiting on my 2 trays and black sleeve too. My wanderlust package came with the battery though. Looking forward to having 3 full trays loaded up and ready to go for a few days.
After a few more days of use post coil fix, no combustions. All single press. Button top/bottom doesn't matter for me now. I do notice the draws are a bit weaker, and probably because the coil is sitting just a smidge too low in the ceramic. Still happy with it's performance for sure. All week, all I've had to take with me for the day is the square loaded up. Totally minimized my daily carry for sure!
My bottom O-ring on the mouthpiece is doing the same thing as mentioned by someone before. Getting stuck in the carry spot slot, and making it more resistant to coming out, as well as the bottom o-ring itself coming off. Haven't lost anything yet thankfully. I believe these are the older o-rings as they are pretty thin and leave a bit of wobble when being used. Think they just expanded from heat. First thought it was residue from the bottom of the mouth piece, but cleaned the slit with a bit of iso and was clean.
Side note, I think the small wires going up the side of the ceramic housing (right side) is actually a thermistor for recording the temps. Would make sense being so close to the red zone. If so, I take back my previous comment about it being all timer based but....
arrived home and when I was gonna try to use it again, I realise the coil (or something around it) does a weird clicking noise while heating
I can hear this same sound. It's similar to the grasshopper timer, and I think that's all that is. The oven timer. Mine is still working fine, and that sound just started the other day. Hopefully she keeps chuggin....
Running temps: 335, 360, 385, 400, 440
Usually sticking to lvl 1-4 and then kill em off before emptying it all at 440.
The Square kills it!
