Man I hate finger busting weed. I hope my Puff grinder grinds to a proper consistency with this. One of my biggest pet peeves with pot is hand busting. I hated it. Always needed a grinder. But that’s me. Show us your ABV after that full bowl. Curious to see. And the temps vaped at. I need to have a few settings over 400F I believe. Help finish the bowl.

I’ve been used to a nice brown color using my Solo. Should I not expect that then with convection? I’ll keep hitting a green bowl all day just because that’s the learned behavior

(Side note: I took 3 pulls from an empty chamber yesterday. Didn’t realize it was empty til I opened it lol. Slight combustion and learning curve issues aside, it definitely works)

I don’t know, I’m just relating my experience. I’m happy with the results so I don’t really care how brown it gets. It’s not the dark brown I get in the Dual.

That’s good to know. I wonder about the AVB’s viability for edibles after convection. Wonder if there’s more or less cannabanoids left if the bud is still green

Wasn't recognizing charger at all thru wall , if plugged into computer it fires up flashing red and then unplug it it still flashes as if Charging even though it's not hooked up! Techs said it is pcb board and since they don't have extra units from phase 2, they sent it to their engineers to fix. Imo they should have had some stock for problem units especially with all stuff going on in phase 1.

Anyone weigh exactly how much they packing and tamping down?

I think I may weigh my ground up herb before I pack. Pretty sure last night was only about a .1 and wasn’t as good as the previous with .2.

I’m still a firm believer of the tamp!!!

I want to bring mine to work tomorrow. Have a hit after court on a low setting so I’m functionable in the office.

I can get a very dark roasted ABV on my Milaana...
It all goes on technique and bud kind imho.

Sorry to hear man I hope that's not the case with yours i have a strong feeling I'm not going to get mine back and will have to wait till phase three comes for a replacement, and since each phase has been late with respects to original ship dates I expect to get a replacement mid July. I hope I am wrong.

Contact haze. Get yourself in for a replacement. Advise them of the situation. Possibly even tell them you’ll send it in closer to when Phase 3 ships so that you are not without a device for long?

@Mattyboo42 I know it’s not what you want to hear. But you know Haze will fix it. Sooner you contact them and send it in, sooner you’ll get it back.

Or keep it for a few weeks. Use it. Charge it through computer and as the phase 3 slowly rolls out then contact Haze and maybe it’ll take less time to get you a replacement issue? I’m just trying to help and give you some options bro. Cause I know how much you enjoyed your haze and it took you a few days to figure it out just like me, but then yours craps out. I can only imagine what you are going through bro.

Packed a bowl just now, looser than before, and got 2 nice clouds at the 4th factory setting. Packed loose enough that if I tapped the side of the bowl I could see the bud move.

First time I’ve pulled above the 3rd setting and not combusted

Maybe this vape needs a full bowl packed and no tamp at all? Mind you I’m yet to combust. Forget it. Not changing my pack or style. I’m doing what I’ve been doing as it’s been working for me. Not going to complicated it. Full bowl. Light tamp.

When you say different highs, you mean that in a good way or a bad way? Curious as to how high you are going to put your temperature too. Also what temp did you finish the bud off in your mighty? Cause if you used he mighty at a higher temp than what you were using the square, of course it got some more life out of the bud.

My highest right now is 395F. I’m gonna try to do a full bowl tonight and see how far I can brown the ABV. Gonna go over 15 hits. Gonna tally it. Take pics worth my ground bud on a scale. The pack. And then the ABV. Gonna be an interesting night. Tomorrow night I may put it really through the ringer with no work on Saturday.

Max temp on mighty at 410. It was a more stoney high. My Max is probably gonna be 420 honestly. I feel I could almost combustion at 390 though so it will take some adjustments.

Chop chop. Get testing haha. Man at 395 I didn’t feel any combustion. Mind you the bowl had 8 hits at lower temps already. 25 more minutes and I’m pouring a muskoka craft lager and doing more testing. If I’m late for court I’m blaming this message board and you pot heads.

I was having combustion issues when I first received the vape at the end April. After a couple months of usage (and trying all kinds of shit) here is what I figured out.

My coil was sitting up pretty high not really touching the pods but close. So I played around with the coil by taking it out and bending the pins and body so that the coil would sit flat inside it’s housing (Only took a couple minutes and now it’s sits nice and snug), I figured maybe it was too close to the pod and this was lending to my combustion issues.

Also decided after lots of testing that the best way to hold the vape is with the button on top because like this the herb sits on the SS screen and not in the bottom of the pod therefore creating a little bit of cushion between the bottom of the pod and the coil (again thinking this might help with the combustion issues).

Ever since the coil adjustment and the button oriented on top I have had ZERO combustion events (it’s been a good month and I use this all day everyday).

I use the cleaning tool they gave me to load the pods, and I fill right to the bottom of the tool which is about 3/4 full. I use temps from 340 to 420 and just work my way up till it’s kicked.

But the ONE thing that I have figured out that makes the most difference is how you work that button. Holding it down till it turns green and vibrates and then hitting it is fine and all (I don’t seem to get much vapor this way)but if you want big hits press that button down again while still slowly drawing (it’ll flash blue again and then go to solid green like it did the first time) and you’ll feel the vapor getting heavier...if you still want more press that button down a third time or even a fourth! I’m telling you once you learn how to work that button you will be putting out big flavorful clouds (pressing the button 3 or 4 times during a draw is the norm for me now and has never caused combustion).

This is what works for me and I have been combustion free and enjoying the hell out of this vape for the past month. After figuring out how to use this thing it’s everything I had hoped it would be.
Hope this maybe helps somebody get a little more out of this wonderful little god send of a device.
