I think someone said its on the book that came in the box, but don't have mine handy to check.

And I could be wrong here but I think the 2.5 (newest) has an added silicone? piece (with a raised cross shape) at the bottom of the MP chamber/air path to try and help with the sticking MP.

I picked up the ebony wood stem from @Ed's TnT site a little over a week ago it arrived. And like the 3 bears, the metal stem was a bit too tight, the glass just a little too loose, and eds fit just right. Its also a bit of added stealth with the black stem on the stealth haze.

Perhaps a bog wood wong is in the future for my haze. I still haven't tried it thru water yet but I bet it rips haha.

I'm still enjoying the haze with herbs but I need to toss some hash in it soon. The haze fit flawlessly to my rotation and severs as the portable in public on the go.

I'm just the opposite, I've only used bubble hash with the haze. I have to toss some herb in soon. I'd love to hear about how it goes for you and the hash

Whats up with my haze guys? I put oils in and at setting 4 it produces skim vapor. I'd have to inhale really long as well. I feel like it's more sip like for this kind of portable. I can't go max inhale or controlled slight inhale and get decent vapor unless I drag for a while. My led temp blinks a few seconds after inhale when it is solid as well. Did I get a dud? I'd like to hope it is because my experience isn't so shabby but I guess I'll have to ask for some advice. I originally tried concentrates on both cans with shatter and I mean you get vapor but have to drag really long but it's just inconsistent. I need a visual on how much how guys pack for oils and the results. I don't get how some are actually getting a mouthful of vapors. It's just really difficult when the inhale has some resistance. Looking out for your pointers Haze veterans.

Herbs don't produce much on setting 3. Taste is there but at setting 4 is what really produces vapor. I haven't tried setting 1/2 because I wanted to get impressed but it's not looking so great on setting 4. It browns after 3-4+ hits. Vapor isn't great but it does slightly hit me. All batteries charged max. I really don't know what I'm doing wrong here. Afraid to try more oil as I don't know if I should get it packed to halfway or just drop a few tiny shatter shards in and clear as I go?

Are u waiting at all after it goes solid? And how hard are your draws? I find its best to give it another 15 sec or so after it goes solid and then do 1 or 2 real light small pulls to get it going which seems to really work. Even after that you want to make sure you're not pulling too hard, just nice light draws, short or long I've found hard pulling to do less for me then soft ones. (Dry, haven't trued concentrates)

If you got the light's blinking your hitting too hard, And possibly not waiting long enough after initial warm up, When the light's first stop blinking wait a good 10 seconds before your first draw. I get vapor even on setting 1, Then again i did out of v1 and 2.0 on setting 1 it just took about 4 or 5 draws, So on 3 and 4 you really should be getting good vapor by the second draw. I think you just need to slow that draw down and wait a bit.





With concentrates ONLY use a little bit or your gonna make a mess, Try a piece the size of a bb or smaller and DO NOT tilt sideways with wax in it either.

I have the same problem as you. I bought this when the v2.5 came out and only used it a few times. Haze asked me to send it in.

I think I'm going to have to send it in. If it acts like this and I tried to keep the oil size to a few tiny shards but I feel like it's gonna need at least .3 or more to produce a nice vapor on setting 3/4. I'll try once more today and if it doesn't work out, I'm emailing Haze for a response and hopefully we can figure out a fix for this because even for herbs I couldn't get a decent tasting vapor at slow draw at first. Seems like after 3 or 4 plus draws it turns out to be browned and vapor starts ro taste like popcorn. I'm using Orange Cookies ao you can imagine i got the triched out, oily herbs but it just isn't doing justice for me. Gonna try the slow draw and see how I turn up.

Sounds like something isn't quite right. We got excellent vapor from a few tiny shards of shatter in the can w/cover on 4 - and at least 10 good hits - very visible vapor too. I do herbs in covered cans every day. On 3 you get very good vapor, but I tend to use 2 if I'm not in a hurry cause it's cooler and tastier, but it takes 10 mins to finish a can. Of all my vapes, this one produces the darkest ABV.

On the 2.5 thing - it says the version on the box (a sticker with version, color, part number), and on the cover of the little manual, and yes, there is an embossed "X" on the floor of the airway which is supposed to help with sticking mp's.

BTW, what does everyone do to keep the MP from sticking? Any good tricks other than frequent of cleaning the main airway?

Rec'd my Haze today. Some of the extra cans I ordered from (unknown which supplier - maybe PIU) look and ring like aluminum instead of SS. Saw in here that there were new style cans coming out with some diff alloy; thought I read they were maybe a different SS alloy and possibly thinner.

SS cans weigh .65g; aluminum-looking cans weigh .37g so the weight may support the aluminum hypothesis. Both appear to be from identical stamping dies. Sheet metal thickness comparison unknown.

I'd charged my XL batts overnight. Cleaning done; Ready to try it out. If it appears I'm not getting enough haze, I'll try the other cans 2nd - or experiment with them later.

SS mp was inside the unit so it may have been handled. No weed smell or residue on the unit. Tape had been previously pulled up from cardboard on both MPs but the unit looks unused to my eye.

Starting out with chem bread bud shatter from Botanico.

edit: On setting 3, oven nearer MP, no hydrotube just yet: Full warm up plus 15 seconds. 1st two hits not a lot there. 3rd hit got me almost coughing; no visible vapor yet. Medium pine taste. No annoying/new taste.

You guys who see lights blinking, you either got the old version of Haze or you got a defect in there. I would contact Haze and they always take care of the items quick. I own every single version and you cannot hit it hard enough to get reheating feedback on the new 2.5. If you are not getting vapor at setting 3, you should contact Haze.

Regarding the cans, they are stainless steel. If you got something Aluminum or alloy, somebody sold you a fake can or knock off. Again, I would contact Haze. Also, the mouthpieces never arrive inserted into the air path. Looks like wherever you got the item from, somebody has handled it. Used or unused, I would not trust that at all. It is an expensive unit and I would want a brand new, non-handled unit.

V2.5 vs other versions. The most reliable way of knowing is to send a quick email to Haze and give them your serial number, they get back to you with a confirmation right away.

Thanks for the input. I think you are right that it may not be used but may have been handled. There was no residue or smell in the unit - just new electronics smell. If the function checks out, I'm going to keep it.

While I didn't see any visible haze on setting 3, it got me good and baked for a couple hours so oven one initially checks out to my satisfaction.

I've emailed Haze about the 2 different types of cans I've received & the serial number/version question.
