@Slow Draw McGraw damn it man, I just happened across that video and wow you have really just shown me why I do what I do and what all my hard work and dedication for my passion that I started as a hobby and stuck with it when all the people around me including my family thought I was crazy for believing in what I was doing a half baked hair brained idea that was never going to be anything more than a waste of time and money. Thanks for sharing that with me and showing me again that what I do and why I do it makes an impact on others in ways I could have never imagined. Thanks for doing what you do, your appreciation and enjoyment is a big motivation to me and continues to keep me moving forward turning the dreams and hopes I had into a reality. You know ain't no one saying I am crazy or mentioning anything negative anymore and never will again, yeah that's what I thought!

i like conduction screens level 2, on the occasion conductions for flavor, rarely use cans, sometimes throw some wax in my herb with the conduction screens through my water tool.
Thanks ean. I have been neglecting my haze because I am still testing all my new vapes. I tried a bowl in the can yesterday and was not overwhelmed. I have the stealth black 2.5 and want to know how ppl are using their haze so I can improve my experience.

@Slow Draw McGraw Thank you my man, thank you! You know I had forgotten all about you even making that video til you mentioned it now, even when I saw it a while back and made the post I never remembered you saying that you were going to do it and yes you said you would let me know when you did so, its no sweat bro! Been so stinking busy round here, if I am not with my kids I am working wood, both are great ways to spend my time, I love every moment with my kids and do so love what I am able to do in the shop, the tough part is just that balance between the two and having to realize which is more important now more so than ever before. Thanks so much for doing what you do and for the kind words most of all, they are great to hear and a blessing you give me!

Damn 10 days to receive your package? When i sent my unit to Arizona for the upgrade, took it 2 days to reach Arizona from Michigan. Several websites i'm on I always see people complain about USPS, but I personally have never had a negative experience with them.

The tolerances may be off like you said but both metal and glass mtpc being not as tight, it makes me think whether the wonG was too big or not and by inserting/pushing it in, it may have stretched the o-ring (again theory). I know that the wonG is manufactured by Ed's and I can imagine that since they are hand made, they may have slightly different tolerance. I ordered an 18mm one last week and I will see how it fits when it arrives. They said that they are awaiting inventory for the wonG. I would contact Haze and ask them about this.

I'mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm backkkkkkkkkk. Life sure can kick hard at times and family can kick you even harder. Needless to say I'm here and glad to be back and with bells on! :brow:

I have noticed that in both of my new 2.5v Haze units that the MP fitment/tolerance is not as tight is my earlier versions. It has to be the o-rings only. Unless they had a change in machine processing on their own MP's. I say this because before I even inserted Ed's tnt wong or MP both of the units were way more loose strait out of the box. After using the wong it made no difference and did not add to it from my experience. What I do now to combat this or to keep the Mp from falling out when I do the flick is not clean the area around the MP that makes contact with the o-ring. I do make sure to clean everything else like normal. A clean unit and MP always makes for the best vaporizing experience.

UPDATE: No problems with Haze on getting my other unit replaced. I now have two stealth black units. Haze also did it again my replacement came with two more cans. I keep saying I'm going to buy more cans but at the rate they keep gifting me them I'm happy at 16 now. :rockon:Emily and Jamie are tops in my book and professionals on every level. thank you ladies and keep up the good work @Haze Vaporizers!

I am still working on my videos. I have had to relocate in the past few weeks. My travels have been crazy between my grandmother, home and my girlfriend, all in different states and citites and I am not always in friendly states so this has also added to more hurdles to get over. Don't give up on me. I'm also open to video ideas if any of you have some shoot them my way or even better post them up in the thread so we all can think on them together.

I'm sure to get a 2.5 and yes it produce clouds but, imho, ther is others portables a lot more cloudier for clouds chasers, although I love my Haze but more for the capacity to taste good on level 1&2 and for wax on level 3&4, and on the go I needn't very large clouds that I can't handle without a WT, if I want large clouds I crank up my Xp at 8 with my WT....Different devices for different uses....

I'm more about strength of delivery, efficiency and clean/healthy vapor paths. Haze nailed all of these. Cloud chasing is more of a e-juice/pen thing. Comparing that to herbal vaporizers is kind of null and void in my opinion. Two totally different worlds. The haze was not built to be in videos of how big is your cloud. It was designed with medical users and for an overall top notch experience. By the way the Haze kicks like a mule, you just have to figure out your draws and as the more experienced know this can fluctuate some based on strain, herbs used, grind and moisture content.

Hi, do you know where are the air inlets please? Maybe I'm a bit stupid but I can't see it....

They are located around the outside of the battery housings general area. Just give the Haze a blow when empty and you can feel where the air is coming from. Also when you draw in and listen very carefully you can hear the intake around the same area I mentioned.

Hi guys

I recently bought a Cloud Evo and Haze. Hoping to find some information on this forum. I have a separate post for EVO on that thread but anyone here with experience, please help me out. I am not new to vaporization but I am new to the forum. For Haze, I have been using my f-bomb which I bought for my old solo a while back. It works great but I am trying to find a smaller glass for Haze. Any recommendations? I am reading the thread pages and I am on page 10 so far.

With Haze, it certainly had the NEW product taste and smell for about 7-8 sessions for me. I am now in session 15 or so and the taste is amazing. I use cans and convection screens. I was exclusive with Ascent for over a year i think but Haze may replace that as I become more experienced with this product.

I think a smaller glass tool will add way more value to this. Any suggestions?

Hello and welcome to FC the best forum on the net. I Suggest using a Namastevapes 14mm water tool. I have used others which were more more expensive and from my sessions the extra cost did not add to anything and when compared to a few of those the Namastevapes WT flowed/hit far better and the quality is right on point with most of the others as well. I have a picture of my set-up a handful of pages back. I plan to soon have some videos including the WT. I hope this helps you out. Cheers!

Ed's stems are the best of all!! He make a little groove so the oring fits and holds perfectly. Even if it gets resin on it!

GET ONE! Or two lol while ur at it snag a WonG.

Listen to Scott, Scott does know. I second his motion. @Ed's TnT products are beautiful and very functional.

A shop here in town just got two Hazes in last week. Is there any way to tell if a unit is a 2.5?

She said she ordered them after seeing them on Bill Maher's show but she may have gotten old stock.

Just get the numbers of of the Haze unit and run them by Haze unit and run them by Haze, they will be happy to confirm which version it is.

-A very easy and functional fix for horizontal worries is adding a glass 90 degree attachment to the Haze. I got a few from Oregon glass blower. Good quality glass too not to mention you are supporting a American and local business.

Please let me know everyone's favorite method of using the haze.
I have changed approach. I liked the convection screens best at 1st... but now...
My favorite two uses in order of preference:
I like the conduction screens twin-loaded... packed well, at level 3.
I also like making ejuice out of wax/BHO (using Liquidizer Ejuice blend) and vaping that on pads from the oil can.

Thanks Vitolo for sharing. For all the hardcore Haze fans, I really want to improve my experience with the haze. I tried it with shatter last month and loved it. But let it sit on the shelf while I played with others and have not had the best experiences. I tried vitolo's idea of one conduction screen in each bowl and found it a better experience than the cans.

From a cloud production perspective I would go with the conduction screens.

I typically only use the cans when I'm on the go or if i have some already prepackaged when I'm at home and I'm lazy to pack a conduction screen; but the effect is still present.

I use the conduction screens the most. I'm sure you've seen me post about Temp setting 2 as that's where I usually sit.

So far, I am loving the convection screens and the cans. I am very particular with the taste and I find the convection screens and the cans provide an excellent taste. The taste diminishes towards the end of my sessions but it is normal. They recommend stirring on their website which I tried. I found that it extends the session time but not the taste. I can get several extra hits from my .2g (way better than my other portables so far) but the taste is great for 8-9 hits per bowl before it starts diminishing slowly. My Ascent does the same thing but I get only 4-5 good tasty hits from it. Considering I am using both bowls, so far, this thing is amazing. I will give conduction screens more time before I give up on them. They create massive clouds but the taste does not last as much as it does with the cans/conv screens.

Conduction screens are great for ABV. I usually use the cans and if I do not complete a session for whatever reason, i place the ABV into conduction screens. They extract every bit of left over effectively.

Testament to the dependability of HAZE
A look into the success of the Haze Upgrade Program's end result:
Paying it Forward's use of the recycled units
The units come in, and get cleaned up with Iso, Steel wool where needed, and they get reconditioned or newly obtained parts.
A number of people have participated.
All of the tidied up units are not in homes yet, but they soon will be.
I have at this moment 11 Haze units out in the local community, being used by patients
with a wide range of severe disabilities.
How is it going?
Eleven patients have had lessons.
Each has watched the video that accompanies the unit.
While most have no internet access, they each read your comments here on my computer scree.
In one month, I have had no unit malfunction, or patient complain.
At months end I met with each and inspected the units.. and gave "tips/hints" about cleaning where needed.
Problems:
  • One patient peeled her batteries (we bought her another pair and issued further instruction.)
  • One patient complained they could not open unit easily (we showed him a compensatory way to use heel of hand to open unit instead of fingertips.)
  • One patient complained that wax gets all over the place (we had to remind this patient that a half gram was a bit too much to place in the can!)
Not a bad record of problem to success ratio for eleven patients with used units over a month.
My hats off to Haze.
I am convinced, as are the dozen patients (11 plus myself!)that are now Haze-a-holics!

So great to hear Uncle Vito! Thank you for sharing!

Do you still need videos? I think I have my first one.

I am sure you can use some cans so I will be cleaning some up and sending them your way.

Keep up the great work and thank you for leading this cause!

Got my haze yesterday. Did about 7-9 burnoffs at level 4 to be safe. Did one more and had my light next to the mouthpiece opening and the bowl area. Still getting that nasty plastic like taste and smell.
What is going on here ??
Should I wipe down tw air path with water or ISO ?
Really unsure right now. I want to test it now but I don want to inhale something that could be detrimental to my health.

I have had several units and just like some of my other vapes, the Haze did have a bit of that new vape taste. It takes about 2-3 sessions to go away.

I generally do a couple burnoffs and wipe my new vapes down with iso but the only way to get rid of the new taste is to run a couple sessions through it.

You could try doing some ABV sessions.

I have said this in many other threads over the years, about many vaporizers when users are in this situation.
Doing longer or more "burn-offs" does not help, but rather can cook any odor you are detecting into your unit, making the smell more prevalent and long lasting.
I never do any burn off.
I do not believe that it is helpful to repeatedly run an oven empty.
Any units I have ever had or tested lost any metallic or plastic-like flavor after vaping a session or two.
Marijuana resins and vapor condensate seal any exposed pathways very well.
(on desktop units with exposed elements like the SSV/DBV, I sometimes do a 30 second "burnoff" the first time... but that simply involves waiting an extra 30 seconds after I turn unit on prior to bringing my wand up for a hit.
A couple of sessions should remove any aroma you detect.

Thank you all for the suggestions and insight!
So I don't waste any more herbs I will do abv sessions until the smell and taste is gone completely. This is new time because every other vaporizer I've owned never needed any sort of burnoff to this degree.
Very helpful tip @Vitolo I never knew that.

I agree completely and I mentioned this before. None of the vaporizers are designed for the burn offs. We as the users do it for piece of mind to get rid of any potential grease or similar from the chambers. Doing extensive burn offs will overheat the device for sure. They need to pass their heat into a substance. I gave examples of a car radiator or a kettle. You cannot heat these without passing the energy into a substance (like water). You will overheat your device and you will have smoke coming out of it for sure. Drain your radiator in your car and try. I did not even think about burn offs on my devices until I started reading this forum few months back.

Just follow the recommended cleaning directions by the manufacture. Do not let your plastic or silicone lids soak in iso. Lighten moisten your q-tips pipe cleaners with iso not soak them with it. I do not wipe down the body of the Haze in iso. You should not be breathing anything in detrimental to your health as the air path is all surgical grade/food grade stainless steel I believe as well as the SSMP. So one healthy AP to start off with.

If you want more specific answers I recommend contacting Haze directly, they would love to help you. I also say this because you will be treated with top notch customer service.

I think doing a initial clean/wipe down is the best with a new Haze and then let everything dry completely then move right into vaporizing with the Haze. I would also do this with any other vaporizer as well. I think getting into seasoning your vaporizer as soon as possible is important. I know it can be hard but don't get caught up on the smell or taste because it is brand new. If you just clean it and get on with using it it will go away quickly. That is unless something is entirely wrong with the unit.

I have have now had the pleasure of owning 4 Hazes, from all versions and they have all worked like they should have. One has to remember sometimes problems will arise but Haze has a 10 year warranty and a upgrade for life program. You are in good hands.

I would also like to recommend to anyone who is thinking about getting a Haze or already has one to purchase a water attachment, it steps things up to another level of enjoyment. You will be happy you did, trust me! :freak:

This stand is great @Ratchett!! Rather than having all my accessories/tools scattered about, they all conveniently fit in the stand. I especially like the four holes for mp's/wpa's it makes desktop use very easy to switch things around. Also the can/screen slots are great too. I put my loaded cans in the front row. The two can slots in the back row are much deeper so I store 4 empties in each. The larger middle spot I store my lids/screens. Also that honeycomb design matches perfectly to the haze design imo.

Here's mine packed to the limits!
aUU6OAU.jpg

ulsQ5qv.jpg

The Nu-SonG fits the haze like a glove. The mp securely slides all the way into the wpa, creating an extremely tight seal. Also having the 14/18mm option makes it very versatile and the best part imo, it's virtually indestructible!!!!

I love both of these accessories and I'd highly suggest getting them both, if you want to add to the convenience of the Haze.
