I think it is well worth the money since you save a ton on material with Haze. I had a post comparing my monthly flower spending between Haze and Ascent that I own. It already paid itself off. I strongly recommend you guys to test this yourself. I need a new glass mtpc myself since I lost it somewhere.

Yessir. I was talking with good buddy @scottg402 today and he verified that if you put too much material in the Haze its not as effective. So it actually likes less material; just put what you overfilled in the other chamber for later.

I agree with the chamber size comment. I think it is way more efficient than Pax. I do not experience much difference between loose or tight at the moment. I just did a ISO clean up this morning and it was easy. With concentrates, it requires more frequent clean up for sure but at least it is quick & easy. I read about a soon to be released V3 model, as well as the upgrade program. I think it is a great deal. I wish all manufacturer's offered this. Most of the ones I dealt with in the past, they do not even respond to questions unfortunately.

I too prefer a tighter pack. I also have been loving the sandwich method. Awesome clouds! !! I cant wait til V3 comes out. I'm gonna buy it right away and keep the 2 5 as well for friends to use. I've already sold 2 units to friends that never thought they'd like vaporizing. Keep up the good work Haze!!

Does anyone have any suggestions for a stuck battery lid? Not sure how, but the battery lid is jammed shut.

I tried a screwdriver and ended up scratching my Haze. So I put it aside and thought I'd see if any FC friends had a suggestion before I reach out to Haze.

Can you snap a pic?

The plastic part of the battery lid just slides over the metal tab which is actually the hinge for the lid. I am having a hard time understanding how it is stuck so that is why I am asking for the picture.

The plastic lid cover is just held to the metal tab by glue so you may need to break that seal and pull it straight out depending how it is stuck.

I'm confused too, because If anything the lid would pop open by accident occasionally. The lid won't push down; I should have explained that in my original post.

I have the stealth haze and sometimes my battery lid does get stuck, after doing this many times i have figured out its because when i close it i push it too far shut (easy to do when making sure it wont pop open) like you my lid wont push down (to the eye) when like this but that is how i get it open, I wrap my right hand around the haze with battery door at top away from me, then use left palm (close to wrist) to push down and slide away.(make sure haze and your hands are clean to get a grip)

Mine has eased after doing this a few times but if i close too far i still have to do this but with not as much force as the first time.

Hope you get it open, and sorry if this is what you have already tried, i know it sounds simple but it works for me.

Hello I am glad you mentioned this, I recently have been trying to reintegrate my experience with the cans, so when you mentioned the loose pack were you referring to the cans or the screens (which is what I use most atm).

The reason I ask is because the cans help control smell and scent after use, this is essential when carrying it in public places. However, in my last two experiences I have felt like the cloud production of my packed cans have been diminished, I have been robbed of my vapor quality. Which leads me to suspect; am I packing my cans too tightly or is it natural for the cans to be minimal in vapor production as apposed to the screens?

All in all I guess the best question to ask is whats the most effective way to pack this vape with the cans and in general. The partial screen naturally and effortlessly gives me glorious clouds. When it comes to cans and the full screen...not so much.

@UnshavenFish I didn't use your technique exactly, but you got me thinking about how to get more leverage on the lid. I was able to get it open by bracing the Haze against my knee with one hand, using a plastic gripping pad, and pushing down about as hard as I could. It took a few tries, but eventually broke free. At any rate, I'm back in business. All, thanks for the suggestions.

I'll be a bit more mindful about pushing too hard when I close the lid. I'd rather have an occasional lid pop open than get stuck shut.

Compared to conduction screens, and assuming you aren't putting any oil in your cans with your herb, the vapor will be less. I find it goes conduction-can-convection in vapor density aspect.

My sister and i have been smoking for 18 years and finally decided to start vaporizing. I have been doing extensive research and narrowed it down to Haze and Firefly. We decided on the Haze since i read good reviews about Haze and some concerns about Firefly. Right before we ordered, i saw that the Pax price was reduced. I moved away from both of them and got the Pax while my sister got the Haze. After 3 weeks of using them both. I regret my Pax decision big time. The vendor does not agree to a swap and i am stuck. The question now is: Do you guys know any place where i can get a Haze under $200.00? I am already out of pocket for $199.00 and although it is my stupidity, i do not want to spend over $400.00 on vaporizers. Any help is appreciated. I am very impressed with the Haze but again, i need to find a deal.

Your sister is very smart for choosing the Haze and so are you for f***king combustion. Pax is a great vape, but not as versatile as the Haze, which im sure you realized. Like Scott said, hit Randy up and let him know your situation. He helps alot of us FCers out.

Sooo when it comes to cans it really does not matter if you do a high and tight packing to affect cloud production, because cans naturally do not produce that much cloud. I mean I still get affects but I feel it requires more hits than the conduction.

i have just been given a thermovape t1. its convection is great. batteries? not so much.

Hi Arian, I've only been using the cans since I got my Haze. I wanted to keep it as clean as possible, so I never tried the screens. I do find that it's best not to fill the cans all the way; I think the hot air circulates more in the cans when they're about 3/4 full. Hope this helps you chase those clouds

If my memory serves me correctly while vaped, per Haze Technologies instruction one should fill a can no more then 3/4 full. This goes for anything that goes into the cans.

The other day I tried something a bit different with the cans.

I had some really dense herb. I let it get really dried out, pretty brittle and crumbly actually. I then ground it up way more than usual, pretty fine. I then loaded my cans only about half way and then fired up my Haze.

With a water attachment for my MP the vapor was conditioned nicely and it was also pretty thick for what I have been use to with the Haze. The cans seemed to last me a few more pulls than usual.

It could just have been the strain but I was vaporizing it right out of my controlled humidor too, before hand. The vapor and session time was not as pronounced to me this way and I had 3/4 loaded cans too.

This might be something to experiment with more as it could save even more product when one is getting low on reserves.

I agree with you. When I use really dry or too fine ground herb, I usually go with the lower heat settings on my V2.5. Light pack in the can. It not only lasts longer but also produces great clouds. Conduction screens may let some too fine particles inside the path so I prefer not using them of my herb is too ground or if I am mixing some pollen with the herb.

Im in the UK so the e-liquid side of this makes it perfect for me as my out and about vape, i can fill one chamber with can + liquid and the other with the good stuff, that way all it takes is a quick flip and boom I'm blowing out nice milk and honey scented vapor, and no officer this is an e cig look here's my liquid in bottle and pipe tobacco

I would add the Haze isn't the best device to use for e-liquid (normal e-cigs/box mods give vapor on demand with no heat up and battery lasts longer) but it is a really nice option that it can do it, just another feather in its cap on how versatile the unit is.

As for smell IMO the cans are best (less smell) but there will be some smell no matter how you use it.

I agree. I do not do liquids too often but when I do, it is always one chamber with dry herb and other one with e-liquid. I use this when I have a stale batch of dry herb. If I am not particularly happy with my herb for whatever reason (taste perspective), i fill one can with it and other with a tasty liquid. It gets you where you need to be with a mouthful of liquid flavor.
