Thanks Scott just glad to have confirmation. I'm still loving the device either way. It's still covered for the 10 year warranty I assume? I'm going to order some dry herb cans and the extended batteries soon I think.

Haze isn't the type of company to screw the customer on the warranty so yes we'll honor it. This of course is assuming the issue is a result of a manufacturing defect. Lack of care and maintenance is not grounds for coverage so please keep that in mind.
edit: and yes @amethystwolf with the cans the tops are different but the bottoms are the same.

THAT is amazingly cool. Yet another reason to pick up a newer one sometime. Question time again.
I clean my Haze dual every day and I a lot of brown stuff is getting cleaned out of the air path. In the beginning I thought it looked a bit disgusting. I use earbuds and sometime they look like I cleaned my ears with them. It isn't until recently that I discovered that the brown stuff I get out of the dual on to the earbuds is actually condensed vapor and is extremely potent. Is there a proper way to get reclaim from you Haze dual?

First Night v3 impressions and some more:
Finally got around to using the Haze last night. Here some thoughts, not exactly a detailed professional review, but more of a casual brainstorming session, haha.
BUILD QUALITY:
Really Nice Build Quality, feels solid in the hands.
Charger accessory is a great for home use.
Comfortable to hold
USABILITY:
Vapor Quality (Flowers), really balanced for the first 7 or 8 draws. Averaging about 14 to 16 draws from a full convection screen sessions on Temp 1, Temp near the last 4 draws or so. The grind was fine.
As I only have the Solo to compare to, the draw resistance for me is almost night and day, not completely but very noticeable. As being someone who has back disc issues, I appreciate not having to strain my midsection to get a 15 second draw. The grind was a fine.
The stock batteries only hold about 3 to 4 (10) minute sessions. The second battery helps, but traveling without a couple of batteries for the day will be an issue. That can be dealt with but as always, battery power is king in almost everything we use nowadays. I'll have to try the extended batteries at some point. Is Tesla available??? haha
Fits well into most normal sized jeans pockets
RECOMMENDATIONS:
A little hinge on the dry herb tray to keep the cover centered and on the tray would be awesome. It works and gets the job done, but the covers are very finicky.
Not sure if there's a way to make an extended battery similar to how a lithium drill or DSLR camera has the large button that adds height to the case. For travelers who aren't exactly looking for stealth, I think this would provide a very, very, nice option for a huge extended battery. Something like this maybe.
Overall I'm very happy with the product and will be using as a daily for a while. Thanks to the whole community on helping with picking out the Haze.
I'm also one of those who are expecting a shipment on top of this v3. I figured if the VapeUSA one isn't a 2.5 or 3 I'll still have this one. Since I'm new here and haven't been able to catch up on much of the earlier pages yet. Will find some time to. What are the major pitfalls of the v2? I'm sure it's not completely unusable. Can it vape concentrate fine? If so I'll dedicate it to that

One of the first things I do when I'm contemplating a purchase is go to the website and read the manual. Now if I had a product I wanted to promote I would be so proud of it I would make sure you saw the manual wherever you looked on the site.
It's like building an office building, and then putting the address in tiny numbers hard to read from the road. Be proud of what you are selling.
Haze be proud of your products. tell the world about them. Put the manual and videos on your site. I found the cleaning video once, then lost it.
I know I could go to Youtube, and find it eventually, but why not have easy access from the Haze website. Try using Google to find the user manual. Lots of reviews, no manual.
Let's have some pride in this little vape. Put it out in front of God and everybody.

I have the XL batteries and I think they are worth it. But then again you could also pack an extra normal battery. If I have a choice I always grab the XL batteries. The main thing is you should have extra batteries.

I would say it depends on your usage pattern. If you're out everyday and need 10 to 15 sessions for the day, 2 regular batteries may suffice. Or one XL may get you though the day. I guess value to convenience is the question which only yourself can answer. One thing is for sure, the batteries will pay for themselves over time.

X2 Since it comes with 2 regular batteries, that can suffice for many people. Nice to be able to charge #2 when #1 is in use (when at home).
But for those that want (or need) max battery life, the XL is not that expensive an upgrade over time.
And then you have 4 batteries to work with which handles just about every situation.
And the biggest plus is that you can swap out !!!! Compared to a Crafty which doesn't allow it

This is the way I went. I ordered a set of XL Batteries to supplement my regulars and I never run out of juice. Also if you go out on a day trip, youre covered with all 4 topped off. If youre tight on cash ( and arent we all? ) then Haze occasionally has sales on their accessories. I would guess that they probably have something in mind for 420, so if you can hold out, you may be able to grab some on discount.

Yea I'll prob do the same with an extra xl set.I just didn't know if someone ran a test saying regulars got xx total minutes and xl got xx total minutes of heat time.
I go on adventures for a few hours at a time may it be fishing biking etc so the xl would be nice to have more juice in the same size package.
If I go xl maybe I can run some a few non official studies comparing the two for others to see just as a baseline.

I would imagine battery life also is measured by what temp you vape at, therefore, anyone else's measure might differ from your use. I vape almost exclusively on 1 or 2 (Haze 3.0) and seldom on 3, so my battery may last longer that someone doing the EXACTLY same number of session minutes as me who vapes at 3 or 4 regularly.

That is most definitely true. Even if settings were the same from me to you I still would expect variations. Im just looking for baselines. Ill note what settings are used.maybe individual tests on 1 v 2 v 3. Hope to have it next week so we shall see.

Hello all. I just came across a Haze 2.5 deal I just couldn't pass up. So I am now a proud owner of one! I've had one session at temp 2 (2 lights?). Not much visible vapor but nice nice heady energizing buzz. Just ran the same can at temp 4 and got decent vapor and a good buzz. I'm using dry herb in the oil cans. The unit is a little smaller than I thought. Seems like it'll be a good road trip vape for sure. I realized on my second run that I could pull the can out after I was finished and it cut down on smell quite a bit. So there's my initial report. Thanks for your time....
Edit: I wish I could turn the unit off and still draw through it. I like to pull until the unit cools some. In my mind, there would be less vapor condensing in the air path and less gunk buildup.

Hey Scott I finally pulled the trigger and decided my first vape would be a haze (V3 model). I love everything about it except I think my top switch is broken. I was trying to clean the air hole in the second chamber and my pipe cleaner wouldn't go though. After further inspection it appears rotating the switch on top does not open or close my second chamber air path, nor does it open or close my first chambers air path (however my first chambers air path is stuck in an open position so I can still use the first chamber). Please let me know how I should get the problem fixed.
