Sorry just posting this for informational purposes and not to compete against your device which is better designed imo. I will most likely have one of each when it comes to everything and of course testing purposes

Anywho, do you mean they filled the cartridge with like Arctic silver? From my experience that stuff is expensive.

It's all good my dude, I don't really see it as competing with mine since my vape is already openly inspired from the Glass Symphony (+Flowerpot) Plus the GS was always designed as a DIY vape, even when he was selling them the parts list and build information was openly available for anyone to build.

Yeah he used a thermal paste similar to arctic silver, but I believe the one he used was copper based. Just like attaching a heatsink, JoJo used the thermal paste to remove the air gaps between the cartridge and the thermometer housing. IIRC he went through a bit of trial and error with that process. It always seemed like the most complicated part of the build, which is what largely inspired me to go the coil route for mine.

That product says its rated for 600F, but to not affect the integrity of the bond I think that might be on the lower side for this vape. It takes a good amount of heat to penetrate through all the glass and other than the heating element, the thermal paste itself would be the next hottest part of the unit.

If I remember correctly he cooked the oil out at 700 degrees or so for a few hours to make the safekote set.
Wrapping the element in Aluminium foil and push fitting it in the tube works too.

I have 3mm and 4mm boro balls that I can use to check fitment but that would mean waiting for everything to arrive. Or I just order more stuff so I know I'm covered, hmmm.

For my builds I have been wrapping the element in enough Aluminium kitchen foil so it will slide in and out of the thermometer tube when cold with enough room to expand as it heats so I can also slide the cold heater out and put it in other thermometer tubes and builds like the 19/26 claisen (with or without balls) or the MA2/3 adapter

Be wary of the TopRight heater and controller by the way as they don't mix well with other devices in my experience.
When I connected the heater rod to my spare enail controller it tripped the electric, killed the controller and something important in my PC, and I had to figure out how to program the clocks on the cooker and microwave again

What part did you get for main body?

*btw. don’t know why 3mm beads are listed… the OG is with 5mm.
The ones I got from Ali are ~4.5mm and are just by bit too small and almost leaks out of the body

You dont see it atm,but when you block scripts you can bypass the pass requirement.
There are both available US kits in 110v and EU kits 220v for 180$ and 90$ controllers.
