Welp, I finally ran into the issue others have had where the oven door won't remain shut. I've opened a ticket with ghost, so hopefully it works out, but still a bit of a bummer to have it crap out right at the start of the weekend!
Bugger, hard o hit the 'Like' button on your post, at least your vape is not a Grasshopper (I just read some poor buggers have had their vapes in for repair for over 12 months,
you will be back up and running soon.

I think I found the problem. It's always the simplest one, that gets overlooked while searching for the hidden one.
Looks like my latch is weak, and doesn't close the door all way.
I guess I should start a ticket with Ghost CS?

Of all that I have had (which is b&c, stealth,and silver) Silver's latch lasted.2.5 months with opening 60 times aday and babying it. Hope it helps!

I also noticed that the silicon seal has a tear in it, and a piece is missing. Probably also hurts the airflow. Not sure how I missed that.

Go look with a phone camera light at inside of latch/button...I bet you.see a piece of latch is missing in the middle or one of the ends.....that's how all three mine went... If stealth was.the redesign ......IMO then all latches will have this problem with usage......let us know what.you see.....Started a ticket with Ghost CS.

And please.don't get me wrong I stand with Ghost .....their product is the bomb....but the feedback they get.from us good/bad helps .....with the next version....this thing is a beast and I hate when I'm without it , I love it!

Mine failed Sunday and I had the replacement the following Thursday. While I was waiting I held the door closed.

I have a "small" nitpick.
I enjoy this device, only used it a few times, but I love the fact that its so fast to use...
But I think its mind boggling that the device comes without a charger.
Its 2019.
For me, this device is unusable without a fast charger or a 2nd battery, so that's an extra 60usd on top of a 300usd device...its a bit annoying, but I'll leave with it.
I mean I get it, they sell the device for a better price and then sell the charger for a really high price (IMO), so I guess the profit margin is coming from the accessories mostly.
It would also liked that the fast charger would have worked without removing the battery, but that's a small nitpick.
This still doesn't mean I don't enjoy the device, its great.
The taste is great.

A fast draw usually causes tunneling/hotspots.
I asked this because I have this problem with my mv1 and I am trying everything to figure out why its happening so much. I was reading on another thread about the 510 mod stempod/splinter style vaporizers, I picked up an stempod and they mentioned that hot spotting/tunneling can also happen from too slow of a draw, because chamber is holding too much heat and getting too hot. I am still working with ghost via email through this but I am beginning to think something is wrong with my unit, the dark spot is always in the same area so it cant be my packing or grind. I have other vapes and none do this at all, only my mv1 is doing this its always inconsistent, dark spot in the middle, uncooked herb around the edge, I might get one hit, then the rest is wispy vapor or no vapor, so I am coming to the conclusion that it is not human error. I am trying so hard to love this vape but it is discouraging me so much, I have to always pull out my back up vapes ruins the experience.

Hopefully that means a V2 with a decent door latch and other problems fixed is on the way soon, I am just too far away to keeps sending things back to the USA for warranty.

I cannot find extra batteries to buy, why is that? is it not an accessory?

Yeah, this deal is sooo tempting. But I assume the sale is because of one of two reasons:
1) they are clearing out inventory to make way for a new & improved version
2) they need to raise cash fast
I am hoping it is the former because I really want to get one of these. But as tempting as the sale is, I think I am going to hold out for an updated version. I definitely lost on the Haze Square and there are some similarities between the two (especially how finicky your technique must be to make it work).
I also really want to hold out for a better interface (updated firmware?) that hopefully a new version will include.
