Im guessing those who dont like the form factor vape in the mirror? Vape where people can see them? Imo who cares what it looks like if it works. What vapes are "in" style anyway? All fit in my hand and get covered up anyway. Guess im not a GQ or envoge vaper​

Yeah, I don't see them as a fashion accessory either. I know many people like to post pictures of their favorite vape frolicking in scenic settings but I have never really understood this....probably my failure. LOL

Now I do like well built devices that feel good to hand and we will just have to wait and see how this one actually comes out.

I think this looks kind of cool actually. Most vapes look like you're blowing a robot. And I'm excited to see innovation in the dry herb vape industry.

Also, people giving VapeCritic shit for his involvement are off base to me. I'm glad an actual vaporist consulted with the manufacturer. And if he gets compensated for people buying through his link... well... that's about as ethical a way to make money in this industry as I can think of.

Either way I'm liking the conversation this vape is producing! I'll admit I've never really hashed it out on form before I do want a seperate holder for all my reloadable chips! Makes me think of AC

The pax and iq are subbar vapes

The grasshopper doesn't work

The Milanna is an unfinished product

The firewood can combust and take weeks to figure out how to get preferable results

Every vape has its flaws whether it be aesthetically or performance wise. Let this Vape come out before we form opinions. What should a vape look like? To all those who think this thing is ugly.

I completely agree. Most vapes look a little silly. I like DynaVap's aesthetics but it does require using a torch which can be a bad look in some circumstances. I just don't get the response to the Ghost's looks. It's a little big. That's the worst I can say about it.

The GH was a great example of innovation. But that was developed 3 years ago. The Ghost should be interesting as it's promising instant, cool vapor. I'll take a "dorky" looking device with that.

Yeah, but we don't really have any details on which to evaluate what this REALLY means. For example, does a programmed standard gate array or PROM now count as a custom part once programmed?

Are most of these mechanical parts as part of their enclosure.

I doubt that they are having any custom silicon laid down...they ain't got that kind of money or time.

Perhaps they are counting screened and selected electronic parts as custom. Or boards with off the shelf parts is, once assembled, custom.

All we got is a very high level headline and not enough info upon which to understand the implications.

Having custom parts definitely isn't a bad thing, any concerns really only apply to the parts which are removable


I think if the entire unit were black the style issues wouldn't be as big of a problem for me. It seems to be fat to make room for the double battery pack on the bottom.
Again this is a big IF but IF it was totally black I don't think it would look much worse than a Mighty or a Solo.

That chrome finish is just definitely not my style


I need to see performance, ease of use and durability regarding the removable parts, and ease of cleaning. Those are the biggest deciding factors for me.



The words on-demand convection portable get me excited , the usual issues with those types of vapes are poor performance, or poor battery life, or they're very difficult to clean.

Just gotta wait and see how this thing turns out.

Not the case with the MistVape Touch, Zion, Firewood 4, Tubo Evic, or the Project. The Milaana is more of a battery hog but is also easy to clean and definitely not a poor performer, being more powerful than the Mighty and most other portables on the market.

This is the first vaporizer I am really looking forward to launching. If it can stand up without tipping over at the slightest touch, is convection, stirring not required, and produces lots of vapor what is not to like. Let's be honest, aside from the Pax configuration, most vapes are not things of beauty. Personally I like the shape, unique, not to obtrusive, and seems to fit the hand very nicely. The shape of the vaporizer may be somewhat responsible for all the custom pieces having to be designed, but just a guess. I am glad the Vape Critic is involved in the early design stages and am happy he can finally reap the monetary rewards his reviews warrant. Hopefully his input will address those areas of a vaporizer he is most often critical of; difficult learning curve to produce satisfying vapor, having to stir the bowl contents to get maximum extraction, battery life, quality of vapor produced (taste, heat, amount), and necessary maintenance. Hope it will be closer to what we all anticipate and not another GH fiasco.

It's a little shiny for my taste, but the Vapecritic's new pictures have the looks growing on me a bit. Also it looks pretty good in your hand. I want to pick this up, dependant on the warranty. If they have a long warranty, I'm sold. If not, I'll wait a bit. We need innovation in vapes and I'd be happy to support that.

Wow, I can't argue with ugly as its purely an aesthetic opinion (and we all have them) even though I don't share that view.

only cons i can think of is, its a little bulky looking, but thats because of dual batteries and the second con is the batteries aren't something you can buy and replace, they housed it so you'd have to buy it from them

I kinda think it looks bigger then it is. VC seems to cover most of the unit with his palm Maybe he can stand it next to some competition vapes for size comparison? Ahhh fuckcombustion it! We'll have them soon enough
